Chapter 44 - 44

Chapter Forty-Four

Crow stood atop his fortress balcony, arms crossed as he watched his empire expand within his Pocket Dimension.

The Eclipse Dragon rested in the skies, and his other forces bustled about, training or constructing new defenses.

As he calculated his next moves,

a memory flickered in his mind.

Soon — within just a few in-game hours —

one of the Starter Villages would refresh its hidden unit shop.

And when it did,

it would stock an incredible treasure for any army builder:

[Units Available for Purchase:]

300 Priestess Units (C to B Rank) 40 Healer Units (B to A Rank)

Crow's eyes narrowed slightly.

Priestesses — units capable of mass healing, barrier casting, blessing soldiers with strength, and purifying curses.

Healers — elite battlefield medics who could keep armies fighting endlessly, even through catastrophic wounds.

Alone, any player lucky enough to buy even a few would gain a massive edge.

But Crow wasn't interested in a "few."

He was going to take all of them.

Without hesitation, Crow turned and gave quick orders.

"Seloria. Prepare a teleportation gate. Target: Starter Village Three."

The array master nodded eagerly, her fingers already weaving shimmering runes through the air.

"At once, my King!"

Crow checked his inventory:

plenty of gold, and even more if needed thanks to his hoarded treasures and undead loot.

He also quietly activated Eye of Insight, scanning the timing.

The shop refresh would happen in fifty minutes.

Plenty of time to prepare.

He glanced toward the massive armies training below:

thousands of units, divine beasts, heroes...

and soon?

He would have an unstoppable army that could recover from any wound.

An immortal army.

Crow's smile deepened slightly.

The world still had no idea who it was dealing with.
