On earth, home of the humans, there is one particular human that hasn't got anything special about him. His name is Ben. He is an average retail worker, who occasionally reads fanfics, and that is barely able to scrape by on what little money he has for himself. But today that was about to change.
Ben walked down the street on his way to work when suddenly he disappeared. Or rather he teleported and he appeared in front of this colossal ball of light and energy.
"Hey there little human, I have decided to reincarnate you in a new world" Called out a voice from somewhere.
"Who are you? Where am I?" Asked Ben in a panicked voice
"Calm down, I'm @&!?%*# and yes I know you can't hear my name so just call me… Bobert or just Rob for short. You are in my domain which, before you ask, is a physical representation of my power. And you are here to be sent to another world. A world that consists of the MCU and a few extra elements such as the X-Men, and other things that I will leave as a surprise, to give a bit of entertainment for me" Said the now named Bobert
"Er… why was I picked? Surely there are others that are better suited for going to the MCU. And more importantly I feel like I should be freaking out more, why am I not?" Said Ben in a now calm voice
"You were randomly picked out of a list of people that were near death and wasn't particularly enjoying there life and to why you are not freaking out, it's because I don't want you to, so you won't because I want this to be as fast as possible so I can get back to my wonderful wife" said Bobert before continuing "Anyway, you will be granted a five abilities of your choice. It can be from anyone or anything within reason and you can choose your appearance and origin if you want at no extra cost."
"And is it reincarnation or transmigration?" Asked Ben calmly as he had literally no over choice to be any other way.
"It's up to you on how you want to start there. You can be nearly anything you want except for something that is instantly strong, however you can choose to be something that has the potential to stand as the strongest. And when I say nearly anything I mean nearly anything as long as it exists including objects or materials that are not sentient. This means you will become a sentient version of that object/material. For example if you want to be a planet and become like Ego, you can't. But you can be an asteroid and grow to be a planet." Rob explained.
"Hmm… ok. I think I want to be transmigrated as a God like Thor or Loki but born independent from any pantheon. For my first ability, I wish for the power to generate my own unique energy that can connect to concepts to gain its divinity as well as strengthen that divinity to a potentially absolute degree. Secondly, I wish for my mind, body and soul to be able to contain an infinite amount of divinities without conflict between opposing divinities. Thirdly, I wish for faith to only affect my production rate in the way my rate can only increase so if people stop having faith in me that the rate doesn't decrease and stays at the same rate until faith increases it even further. Fourth, I wish for the ability to create my own pantheon that is protected by all other pantheons so others can't affect the level of divinities my gods and I have. And my pantheon can recruit other gods into it which severs ties to their original pantheons and become absolutely loyal to me. Finally, I wish to be able to create systems like those in fanfictions to give to myself or people that can strengthen them, make them want to join me and my pantheon and give me a copy of there powers." Stated Ben
"Alright then I will grant those wishes. They are not instantly overpowered but you can quickly become overpowered if you play your cards right. I like it. However you asked to be a God but you didn't wish for a divinity, I'll give you two to start with that will be entertaining for me but I will leave that as a surprise for you".
And just like that Ben was transmigrated into his next world.
