Synopsis
Some people have dreams, others have ambitions. But Alex Foyer has neither. As the empire's laziest bum, Prince Alexander Foyer drifts aimlessly in his otaku life as the youngest royal in his family. Emotionally stunted and filled with the pleasures of life another would dream of, he does not have any ambitions or desire. All he wants is to continue living in this dream life. But fate, as it is to everyone, is cruel. And as if he was off the radar before, he's paying tenfold. Now, forced into becoming the heir apparent as a way of "paying back" for living a life of endless riches, he has to endure the living nightmare of endless responsibility, expectation, and suffering for something he does not want. Will he break? Or will he give in? Only Alex can tell...but he doesn't know either?

Chapter 1 - The Laze, the Bum, the Idiot

The Empire of Foyer was a colossal, glittering empire that spanned continents, its wealth and power unmatched in the modern world. A realm built on the bones of centuries-old dynasties, it was the shining beacon of absolute monarchy, where the line of succession had never wavered—until today.

However, at this moment, we are not talking about the great of greats, we are talking about the Empire's 'Piggy'--Alex Foyer, or to be exact---Prince Alexander Foyer, Second Prince of the Foyer Empire(aka the Pig).

For our dear Alex, he began the day unlike any normal prince would: he would wake up to drink a piña colada(and get drunk-ish), then feast on a banquet exclusively for him of the finest meats and delicacies in the empire(he is the empire's food producers' biggest revenue channel) and then binge watch anime and then sing-along to the anime theme songs in his suite's 120 inch smart television. Yes, he's an otaku in every sense, he eats, sleeps and breathes anime.

As the moderator of one of the world's top anime forum, a title he ordered the actual moderator to give him(the poor man was forced to hand in the rights to our Pig crying), he is the tyrant king of the fans of anime deleting posts as he sees fit if it distorts his favourite anime character(Yuki-chan)'s persona.

His siblings were another matter. Each of them was skilled, talented, and fiercely ambitious. But Alex? Well, Alex was none of those things. He wasn't even sure how he'd ended up in this kingdom. Sure, he had the bloodline, the royal heritage, but it didn't mean he had to follow the same rules they did. Being born into the royal family didn't mean he had to become some sort of government-obsessed, duty-bound machine. The only duty Alex cared about was binge-watching his favorite anime and flirting with girls on his phone.

"You'd think with all this wealth, they'd at least have a decent enough pizza place for delivery," he mumbled as he reached for a particularly greasy slice, not bothering to get up from the mound of soft pillows that seemed to swallow him whole. The Foyer family palace was a fortress, a monument to power. But inside his room, he was in charge of his life(though I question his choices). It was a life of luxury—one where no one expected anything from him. I mean, who would?

And Alex didn't mind, his siblings could fight all they want for the throne whilst he enjoys his life, perfectly content with being the Empire's Pig. Of course, he does look like a pig(please don't think I am joking), he is a morbidly obese brat with a large protruding belly jiggling when he even moves less than a millimetre. He has black hair and green eyes and a face that might've been extremely handsome but it looked so grotesque with his triple chin and oily skin from constantly dumping oily snacks on his mouth while watching Yuki-chan dancing on his mega inch TV. His body is three times the size of an average person(horizontally not vertically---he is tall but that's not the point) so he needs three chairs to actually sit down comfortably.

As Alex lazily stuffed another croissant into his mouth, the door to his chambers creaked open. He didn't look up immediately. If it was one of the palace staff or his bodyguard, they knew better than to disturb him before noon(they know better than annoying our Pig when he's on an anime marathon). The door shut, and footsteps echoed in the hall. Then, a sharp knock on the door.

He groaned. "What now?"

"Alex," came the voice of his mother, Queen Vivienne, cold as ever. "Open the door. We need to talk."

The words hung in the air like a command more than a request. Alex sighed again(not dramatically this time), wishing he could simply pretend to be asleep and avoid whatever nonsense was about to follow. But his mother wouldn't let that happen. No one could escape Vivienne's influence—not even her own son.
