Chapter 16 - “It’s My Turn, F*er**"

Alt title:Deadpool vs. Discount Bane

Scene:Crowd buzzing. Cameras turning. Chae In and Choi Jong-In casually watching the disturbance.

Deadpool's standing there, one hand on his hip, still taunting the big B-rank Tank like he's at a comedy roast.

Tank Guy snarls, face red with anger.Deadpool leans in, hands cupped around his mouth.

"Bro, are you mad because your power's all tank and no think? You gonna hit me or just flex until someone claps?"

Finally—snap.

The Tank roars and swings a huge, two-handed blow straight into Deadpool's ribs.

CRACK.

Deadpool's body bends inward with the force. His ribcage crunches audibly. He's launched sideways, slamming against the barrier wall.

The crowd gasps. Phones are recording. Some people scream.Others whisper:

"He's dead.""Oh my god, he killed him!"

The Tank sneers, brushing his hands off like he just finished taking out the trash.

Deadpool's body slumps to the ground.Still. Silent.Mask a little torn, a slight splatter of blood on the pavement.

The Tank turns, smug.

"Weak little freak."

Pause.

Deadpool's fingers twitch. He pushes himself up slowly, ribs audibly snapping back into place with gross, wet crunches.

He stands. Cracks his neck. Tilts his head at the Tank.

Brushes invisible dust off his shoulder.

Crowd:

"Wait... he's getting up?!""That hit would have killed a C-rank Hunter!"

Deadpool, voice casual, slightly hoarse:

"Nice shot. Broke my favorite rib."

He rolls his shoulders. Smirks behind the mask.

"But now... it's my turn, fucker."

Deadpool steps forward. The crowd parts like the Red Sea. Even the security staff hesitate.

Chae In's eyes narrow, sensing something off about him.Choi Jong-In leans forward slightly, intrigued.

Deadpool pulls his vibranium katana halfway out with a whisper of steel, not to stab—but just enough to make the light gleam off the blade.

The Tank stares, suddenly a lot less confident.

Deadpool twirls the katana once and settles into a loose stance, motioning with two fingers:

"Come on, big guy. Round two. Let's make it interesting."
