Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Masters Meet Again

For the residents of South City, this ordinary night would be an unforgettable experience.

In their astonished gaze, a bull demon, towering at three meters, leaped across rooftops, occasionally crashing into low buildings, creating massive panic in its wake.

Hundreds of meters away, a motorcycle, enveloped in golden light, pursued relentlessly. Though the figures on it were blurred, one could faintly discern a man and a woman.

In fact, many residents from the 70s, upon seeing the woman, couldn't help but shout, "Athena! That's Athena... wait, is that Seiya next to her?"

"You're the Seiya! Your whole family's Seiya!" Chen Mo, who had no particular fondness for the indestructible little cockroach, rolled his eyes and retorted while chasing the bull demon.

As if joining in the excitement, his phone suddenly rang. The caller was Brother Lin, whom he was meeting the next morning: "Xiao Mo, guess what I saw? A minotaur, Athena, and the coolest motorcycle ever... never mind, no use telling you this. Remember to bring the house payment tomorrow!"

Before Chen Mo could respond, Brother Lin hastily hung up, likely eager to witness the battle between Athena and the bull-headed demon.

Chen Mo, with a face full of helplessness, rubbed his chin, thinking, "I might barely make the house payment tomorrow, but forget about breakfast money!"

At this thought, his anger towards the culprit ahead intensified, and he smacked the car's dashboard, shouting, "Catch up! Didn't you say it could go 600 kilometers per hour? Knock that thing flying!"

"Boss, this is the city, not the plains," the car grumbled, but it still accelerated, leaving only blurry images for the residents who had come out to take pictures.

In less than ten minutes, the distance between them was reduced to mere dozens of meters, and the wide, empty suburbs were already in sight.

The bull demon, realizing the danger, seemed to panic. As it leaped over the city walls, it suddenly transformed into a whirlwind, swiftly expanding the gap by several hundred meters.

But upon seeing the open field ahead, the car refused to be left behind. It revved its engines to the max. Chen Mo and Jadi had to crouch down to avoid being swept away by the howling winds.

Another five or six minutes passed, and they were now fully in the vast wilderness.

Realizing it could no longer escape, the bull demon suddenly slammed on the brakes, kicking up a cloud of dust, and sharply turned around. With a flick of its hand, it formed a glowing circle, trapping the unconscious Ye Rong inside, then positioned itself protectively in front.

Fuming and spewing white mist, the bull demon glared with its bloodshot eyes and growled, "Damn it! Killing someone isn't as easy as it sounds. If I don't show my power, you think I'm just some...!"

"Shut up!" Chen Mo didn't let it finish, grabbing his notebook and hurling it at the demon.

With a scream, the unfortunate notebook once again served as a makeshift brick, glowing faintly as it struck the bull demon.

Almost simultaneously, Jadi raised her staff high, controlling a beam of light from the heavens to strike the dazed bull demon, sending it crashing into the mud.

Enraged, the bull demon was now truly furious. It had never encountered anyone more unreasonable than itself.

With a thunderous roar, it suddenly emanated black light, rippling outward like waves, causing the very air around them to tremble.

Jadi frowned slightly, pushing the golden shield forward and softly murmured, "Mo, be careful. This demon seems to be mutating!"

"Mutating?" Chen Mo was momentarily puzzled by Jadi's warning, but his confusion quickly dissipated as he witnessed the unbelievable.

Amid the storm of dust and debris, the bull demon, trapped in the ground, began to rapidly swell and shift. As the blinding black light engulfed the entire plain, a monstrous, black bull—three meters high and six meters long—materialized out of thin air.

Roaring gusts of wind shot from its nostrils, the force rivaling the suction of a vacuum; its hooves, burning with black light, pounded the ground, shaking the very earth; and its golden horns, gleaming in the night, extended half a meter, resembling giant blades...

"For centuries, you are the first to force me back into my true form!" Its deep voice reverberated in the air. The black bull raised its forelegs and charged like a galloping horse, crushing everything in its path—trees, rocks, even the very ground.

Jadi's expression turned serious as the golden shield expanded into a tangible barrier, blocking the bull's path.

With a deafening crash, the enraged bull slammed into the shield with no sign of slowing down. The air rippled like a wild ocean, and Jadi let out a grunt as her arm holding the shield dropped slightly.

At that instant, the shield weakened, and the bull, with unstoppable force, pushed its way through, forcing the car to retreat two or three meters with each furious stomp.

"So size matters now?" After the initial shock, Chen Mo sneered, "Guo Guo, show it what you've got, and stew it for me!"

"No problem!" With Chen Mo channeling the last of his green energy, Guo Guo surged into the air and began to expand rapidly.

In moments, it had transformed into a massive electric rice cooker, spanning dozens of meters. Even the shadow it cast upon the ground was enough to send shivers down the spine.

"Impressive!" Chen Mo was momentarily stunned but couldn't help but push up his glasses, praising, "No wonder when you flew out to steal last time, everyone said they saw a UFO!"

Hearing the compliment, even though Jadi was focused on activating the golden shield, she couldn't help but look on in stunned silence.

In the next instant, the rice cooker, now brimming with magical energy, spun fiercely, unleashing scalding steam as it rushed toward the bull demon trapped behind the shield.

Sensing the impending threat, the bull demon suddenly tilted its head back and opened its mouth to release a demon core.

The pitch-black orb spun in the air, igniting the atmosphere like the scorching summer sun. It whistled through the air, heading directly for Guo Guo—this was its attempt to collide with the rice cooker in a fiery showdown!

Chen Mo's face changed slightly. He attempted to intervene, but it was too late. Just as the two forces were about to collide, a sword beam shot from the distance, accompanied by a childlike voice that rang out, "Long live! I finally found this foolish bull!"

Startled, both the bull demon and Guo Guo halted, turning their gazes skyward.

There, standing on a flying sword, was a little girl of about seven or eight—her rosy face still retaining a hint of baby fat, her snow-white skin as translucent as glass. Her delicate features, though still youthful, hinted at future beauty. Most striking were her large eyes, which constantly darted around with an unmistakable intelligence and cuteness...

"How much?" Jadi murmured, looking at the sky in a daze.

At Chen Mo's confused glance, she casually pulled out a checkbook and explained, "She's so adorable, I'm considering adopting her!"

"Uh… do you usually buy things like this?" Chen Mo rolled his eyes, mentally noting that this was a true wealthy heiress who even considered "buying" a person.

"Of course!" Jadi nodded nonchalantly, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "Everything has a price, except for emotions!"

What could Chen Mo say? He could only shake his head with a wry smile and keep quiet.

Meanwhile, the little girl slowly descended, drawing a peachwood sword from behind her and pointed it at the now slightly wary bull demon, "You big fool! Last time you escaped, but this time Xun'er won't be fooled. I'll definitely cut you down!"

"Xun'er?" Chen Mo and Jadi exchanged glances, intrigued by the name. But more interesting than the name was the little girl's appearance—her chubby cheeks, her sweet voice, and her tiny frame, all paired with the slender peachwood sword, made for a charming and smile-inducing sight.

However, unlike the two of them, the bull demon wasn't amused at all.

"You little brat!" It glared at the descending Xun'er and snorted, "Don't think I'm scared of you. If it weren't for your old man... hell, what are you waiting for?"

"Yep! Hurry up! I'm going to have ice cream soon!" Without waiting for the bull demon to finish, the eager little Xun'er already slashed out with her sword, sending a flurry of talismans flying into the air—wind, fire, and mountain-style spells raining down like they were free.

"Ice cream?" The bull demon, stunned by this absurd reason, hesitated, only reacting when the talismans nearly hit its face. It rolled away in a panic!

With a deafening roar, the surge of air created a massive shockwave, sending dust flying. Chen Mo stumbled back a few steps, thinking, This little girl is quite powerful. As expected, you can't judge a book by its cover when it comes to women.

"Dammit! I'm done!" Clearly having learned its lesson, the bull demon rolled back onto its feet and, without retaliating, galloped off into the distance, disappearing over the horizon.

"Not so fast!" Having previously been outrun, little Xun'er was quick to act
