They all gasped in surprise with their eyes wide open. "Shin Jiwon!" They all shouted not believing what they are seing. Kim went on her knees and started to cry first ...
"Jiwon, you know I never beat you like how they use to do ... please spare me.. please " she said with tears roaming on her cheeks.
"Yah ! Kim ..do you think you are better than us ? Is that what you think ? Put yourself together before I do that for you " ...jisoo said not regretting what she had done.
She was the one who bullied jiwon the most....she started bullying her right from highschool with other girls .
She looked around finding ways to escape from that room with or without her friends.
Nabi was shivering and almost about to pass out because she has never seen such a thing before and never imagined Jiwon will become a monster like that because of them ...she always thought she would forever be that scary cat they knew.
"Nabi , why are you so quiet ? Can't you speak ?..you look like you're about to seizure or something" Jiwon said walking closer to them ..
"No Matter what happens today , none of y'all will survive ...I promise you " she added with pain in her voice .
"Let the game begin! ..she shouted and laughed cruelly enjoying the fear in their eyes . Those fears, were the ones in her eyes every single day and nobody care to ask her how she was doing.
" The rules are simple , find the villian, ..you have just 1 minutes , one of you here is the villian... I have chosen in my mind ..you have to guess and choose that person". She said smiling ...."And the villian will be the first person to die " she added and started laughing .. enjoying the scene Infront of her.
The gumihos in the room also started laughing ... waiting patiently for their meals.
" No, please! Please Jiwon .. please ! " Nabi finally spoke and went on her knees crying...
" I beg you .. please forgive me ...I know this is not enough comparing to what you went through but please , don't become that monster ... please ." She added shaking her head .
"Aishhh, Damnit! ...Yah! Nabi , you're such a slow learner huh ...I thought you were the smartest one among us ..." Jisoo said clearly annoyed.
"Stop it! Jisoo , stop that madness or else we will all die ... can't you see that? ...Kim screamed at her .. looking miserable.
"You are all hopeless, can't you see the more you beg for your life .. that's how they get the opportunity to eat you ? Don't you know they feed on pain , regrets and fear ?
"You all look miserable ..put yourselves together and see yourselves as bullies.... let see how they will feed on us" ...hurry ! Jisoo said...
Kim and Nabi wiped their tears and got up from the floor .Jiwon looked at them with angry eyes . " I know you won't go down easily .. your 1 minutes is up " she said ...
Attack them all ! She screamed at the gumihos and lust demons ..." I want that one's liver " she pointed at jisoo.." I will eat her myself " she added.
As the demons and guminhos jumped and almost reaching them, ...Saeron, Minjae, Taeyang and Siwon appeared and started slaying them.
Siwon looked at the guminhos and shook his head and said ..."such an ugly creatures" ...One looked at him like ..it's about to ask him to dare repeat that . " Don't look at me ! He screamed and held Kim and Nabi's hand along side jisoo and left the room. Leaving the rest to fight inside.
The 3 girls can't believe what they're witnessing in just one night .
Firstly, the girl they used to bully tried to kill them and secondly their mates in school are literally some heros now.
They looked so surprised to even ask questions...they just kept quiet standing there with siwon.
Inside the room , Saeron and the boys have slayed most of the gumihos and demons and the rest jumped back into the portal themselves.
Saeron closed the portal with her ability...and turned to face Jiwon, who looks like she's about to explode.
Her hands were trembling along her side and she was gasping for air as if she was on the edge of death . She gave them a dead stare ..
"Yah ! You again? This time you came with the class president and her friend? You're all the reason why I'm like this..Minjae , you saw what happened to me and said nothing
"They told you .. you're my crush and mocked me , bullied me and you ignored . Why! Why? Are you saving them ? Huh? Why?.... Jiwon said crying.
Minjae couldn't speak , tears flowed on his cheeks too and went on his knees ..the memories of the number of times he witnessed her bullying and never said anything runned in his head . He looked up ..and stared at her for while , still crying..
" Sorry, I'm so sorry Jiwon...I never thought it will come to this extend, sorry for not standing in for you, sorry for my bad leadership, sorry for turning in a blind eye when they bullied you .... I'm sorry Jiwon, but this is not the answer ...you can start all over again..He said .
"I can't! This is me , I'm a gumiho..a monster..that can never change ...I was about to take my revenge and you saved those bastards who brought this chaos...I have to kill them ! ...she replied .
"And what else? ...after killing them are you going to stop? Huh? Will you ? Answer me !...Saeron asked .
" No, I won't ... people like them are still out there ...I will kill everyone." She replied.
"Aishhh, you're so stupid! Saeron shouted on her..." Because of this revenge , innocent people are dying! You decided to allow yourself get bullied..."you are so stupid and weak" ..
"You allowed the bullying by doing nothing to fight for yourself...and now people have to pay for you being so dumb? Saeron said in an angry tone ...
"Why are you blaming me when am the one in pain ? Huh ? Why ? ...Do you know what I've been through?" Jiwon said..Her hands still trembling along her sides and her body started shivering.
"Damnit, I wish I can kill you right now ..but you're still half human. Stop the drama ...stop playing villian and put yourself together" saeron responded.
"Stop it saeron, you're making things worse by blaming her, Minjae said and continued...."look jiwon we know we were wrong for not being there for you but please don't be the monster that once tormented you" ...
"I know somewhere in your heart ..you still have sympathy and pity for people ".
Saeron laughed and whispered under her breath.."pathetic "...Jiwon stood there looking at them all ..then smiled , that smile that means evil. " I will stop on two options " she said.
"Tell us " Taeyang finally said breaking his silence." Please! He added.
"I want to torment those three girls to my satisfaction.and then I also want Minjae " she said.
"Huh? Minjae? ....you must be out of your mind. ..you bitch ! ... saeron said already about to strike her dead.
Minjae stood there surprised and too stunned to speak ...the question which kept ringing in his mind is "why him " ...
"I want Minjae .. because I love him.. I've always loved him..I need him and after I get him . ..I will stop everything." Jiwon said.
"Then you can have Siwon instead.. I'll add Taeyang as a bonus..." Saeron said ..."but not Minjae " she said ...and striked her once and she disappeared .
"Bastard! Hide forever".... Saeron screamed and made her way towards the door .
After getting out , Taeyang asked her why she told Jiwon she could have him and Siwon but not Minjae. She looked at him and replied " because gumihos can't have what they want". She lied looking straight at him.
"When they say they want something or someone , they literally hate it more than anything"..she added and rolled her eyes .
Deep down she knew..the idea of Jiwon having Minjae hit her nerve .she has started secretly getting interested in Minjae.
She took Kim and the rest to their hostels and told them to sprinkle salt in their room , light a candle and write Jiwon's name and burn it with it whilst asking for forgiveness with real regrets ..their ties with her evilness will break but they will still get punished after their death..for their sins.
Meanwhile, in the shadows across the city ..the risk reapers are also on a mission saving people and puting their lives in danger . For the first time after all this mess,
Saeron finally felt like there are some balance going on , and the rampant death of civilians was a bit lower than before.
That night , Minjae had a nightmare...in that nightmare they were saving an 8 years old girl and Saeron risked her life to save the girl.
Saeron died in that nightmare . Minjae woke up tears in his eyes , he isn't that close to Saeron but ever since they became team mate and began risking everything to save the world , He has began to like her too.
The connection between them always grew stronger , like they were meant for each other despite all the horror going on around them . Sooner than expected , Minjae , siwon, saeron and Taeyang received an alert on their phone...this alert showed a red light and a numerous lust demons and guminhos at jeju island.
They weren't the only people who received the alert , the risk reapers also received it . Many peoples lives are in danger at jeju's island and they needed to go there asap.
It's seems like the demons and guminhos left the school and the city. They are all going to that island. Minjae and the rest of the team wonderd what possibly could be the reason why they all left to that island. Saeron went to the east building to check if jiwon is still there but it seems she's gone as well.
Something is fishy and they needed to find out . Saeron met up with the rest and they summoned her dad; Juwon...
" Listen carefully" Juwon said ...
" The guardian of the realms sent me a message, a new portal has been open in jeju island and in a hidden cave forest ..a whole city of demons and gumihos has been created " He said and turned to look at them.
" You all needs to go there now ...since the city is now out of danger". He added .
"No dad! ..saeron replied..." That will be suicidal...they are humans remember? Minjae, siwon and Taeyang are humans... secondly, they're college students and since everything is back to normal here ...I think they can't just abandoned their education. Saeron added.
" Do you think they're the only college students in this whole issue? ... Juwon replied and laughed..." When you go to the island you will meet another college student team who work for the underworld and are all humans"...
He said and vanished before they could protest any further.
"Shit! ...Saeron said and hit the wall with her palm. She looked at the boys ..who looked stunned to talk .. " I guess you guys need to skip class for a while " she said and picked her blade .. adoring it . " We have a n island to save " she added.
" Yes! ...siwon replied , looking all happy because he hated school.
" But how are we going to fight a whole town of demons and guminhos...?.. Minjae asked.
"Who's we? I'm not doing it " ... Taeyang said looking literally uninterested.
"Well , none of y'all have a choice Taeyang...and , we're going to go there as normal individuals and strike at night ...I have a plan , but first we need to find those secret team my dad mentioned earlier .
Maybe they can help us in some way." Saeron said.
They all agreed without a choice, they started packing up for the island. They're not just any college students anymore, they are guardians of the veil and needs to fix both realms even if their lives depended on it.
