Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: "The Legacy under Construction"

After intense days training in the forest, Jeok Ryeong finally returned to his apartment. The place gave him a familiar sense of calm, although the atmosphere now seemed different. He had left that space as a constantly evolving fighter, but now he was returning as someone who had taken a big step in building his martial art. He closed the door behind him, left his backpack on the floor, and without wasting time, headed straight for his desk.

The Ryeong Style notebook was open on the table, with pages already filled with his first principles and the move that started it all, the Filo Spear. Jeok sat down, his hands still marked by the arduous training, and grabbed a pencil. He turned the pages until he found the section where he had recorded his first move.

He smiled slightly before beginning to write on a new page. With large, clear letters, he wrote: "César's Cargo."

Below the name, he wrote every detail of the move, making sure nothing was left out:

Initial stance: Low and stable position, with bent legs for a solid base.

Charge: Explosion of force from the legs, propelling the body forward like a released spring.

Impact: Both open palms hitting simultaneously, focusing all strength at the contact point. The impact aims to pierce the opponent's defense with devastating force.

Once finished, Jeok leaned back in his chair, observing the words with pride. His style now had two official moves, two fundamental pillars on which to continue building. He knew this was only the beginning, but every step he took made him feel more connected to his vision.

As he closed the notebook and carefully placed it on the table, he murmured to himself: —The Ryeong Style is taking shape. The Filo Spear and César's Cargo are just the beginning.

With that idea in mind, Jeok let his mind rest, although he knew he would soon return to training. Every day brought him closer to becoming the fighter he wanted to be, and he had no intention of stopping until he completed his legacy.

The next day dawned with an air of anticipation. Jeok Ryeong was in his apartment, mentally preparing for the fight coming that night at the underground club. Rumors had spread quickly; his next opponent would be a burly person, known for his mastery of grapples, capable of neutralizing opponents with brute force and relentless submission techniques.

While adjusting the wraps on his hands, he reflected on the lessons learned during his training and recent fights. His body had been strengthened by months of hard work, and now he had two official moves in his arsenal—the Filo Spear and César's Cargo. But facing someone specialized in grips would require more than strength and speed; it would require strategy.

"I can't let him grab me," he thought, tightening his fists. "If he does, I'll be on his turf. I need to move quickly, redirect his force, and strike at the perfect moment."

The underground club was packed that night, with all eyes on the ring. Spectators excitedly discussed the confrontation between the young fighter with red hair and the burly grappler, whose name was already respected in that circuit. Jeok stepped into the ring calmly, his movements reflecting silent confidence as his red eyes fixed on his opponent.

The man in front of him was a mountain of muscle, with arms like logs and a stance that radiated power. His gaze was stern, and a challenging smile crossed his face. —Are you the kid everyone's talking about? —he asked in a deep voice as he raised his fists—. They say you have style, but that won't help you here. When I grab you, it's the end.

Jeok didn't answer. He simply adopted his characteristic stance, with legs slightly bent and arms ready, like a predator stalking its prey.

The atmosphere in the underground club was charged with tension. The crowd watched with anticipation as Jeok Ryeong faced the burly wrestler, known for his ability to neutralize opponents with relentless grips. The man advanced forcefully, his arms outstretched as if claws ready to catch Jeok.

Jeok, with his fluid posture and fixed gaze, remained calm. When the burly man tried to grab him, Jeok moved his palms with precision, deflecting his opponent's attempts. Every move was calculated, redirecting the man's force into the void. Frustration began to show on the man's face, but Jeok didn't give him time to recover.

With a quick movement, Jeok grabbed the man's arm with his right hand, ensuring a firm control. With his other hand, in the form of a palm, he launched a series of devastating blows. The first hit the opponent's torso, making him stumble slightly. The second strike hit the shoulder, weakening his stance further. Finally, with an upward motion, Jeok struck the man's chin, making his head tilt back while he let out a groan of pain.

The crowd erupted in shouts as the burly man tried to regain control. He clenched his teeth and made another attempt to grasp, but Jeok, with his characteristic fluidity, slipped to the side, avoiding the attack easily.

—RYEONG STYLE — Filo Spear —said Jeok firmly, charging forward.

With his dominant palm, he launched the strike directly to the liver of the burly man. The impact was precise and devastating, causing the man to twist in pain while staggering backward. The crowd watched in awe as the opponent, known for his resistance, seemed on the verge of defeat.

Jeok saw the perfect opportunity and didn't hesitate. —RYEONG STYLE — César's Cargo —he exclaimed, pushing himself forward with all his strength.

Both palms hit directly on the man's torso, producing a dry, powerful sound that resonated throughout the club. The burly man was pushed several meters back, falling to the floor with a heavy thud. The marks of Jeok's palms were visible on his body, while a trail of blood escaped from the man's mouth. Finally, he fell unconscious backward, completely defeated.

....

Time had not been wasted for Jeok Ryeong. The two months following the fight against the grip master were filled with dedication and effort. Jeok not only perfected his movements but elevated his training to a level few could imagine. Each day in the forest was an extreme challenge designed to strengthen his body and improve his techniques.

Jeok knew that his attacks, the Filo Spear and César's Cargo, were already devastating. However, he understood that precision and strength could be further refined. During these months, he repeated each move hundreds of times until his palms were no longer just fast and precise but also capable of impacting with a controlled explosion that left visible marks on the trees.

For the Filo Spear, he practiced closing the distance to his target faster, refining his body alignment to maximize force at the impact point. For César's Cargo, he worked on concentrating all his energy into both palms simultaneously, increasing the depth of each impact.

Besides perfecting his moves, Jeok set out to surpass a new limit: knocking down trees. Not just hitting or damaging the trunks, but uprooting them using only his arms and legs. This training was not only a physical challenge but also a mental one. He faced the trees as if they were his most powerful opponents, imagining each uprooting as a won fight.

At first, the effort seemed impossible. The trees he tried to topple didn't even move, and his muscles strained to the edge of fatigue. But Jeok never gave up. Day after day, he kept adjusting his technique. He learned to use his body weight and solid stance to maximize his push. With both hands gripping the trunk firmly and explosive movements, he applied constant pressure while his legs pushed forward.

Gradually, the results began to show. The first tree he managed to uproot marked a crucial moment in his training. Jeok felt how his strength had evolved, how the months of effort were bearing fruit. By the end of the two months, the forest around his training area was filled with fallen trees, silent witnesses to his progress.

Jeok returned to his apartment, backpack hanging from his shoulders and hands marked by lines of effort. He sat down in front of his Ryeong Style notebook and wrote with a slight smile:

Filo Spear: Refined and faster.

César's Cargo: More force, deeper impact.

Additionally, he made a special note: "Explosive strength is key to mastering any challenge. Uprooting trees has changed my way of attacking. Now I know there are no limits to what I can achieve."

With those thoughts in mind, Jeok closed the notebook and stood up. He knew he was ready for what was next. Every day in the forest, every strike, and every uprooted tree had made him stronger, more precise, and more unstoppable.

During the relentless months of training, Jeok Ryeong not only refined his strength and movements but also discovered something essential for his style: his definitive fighting stance. This stance was not just a technique but an extension of his philosophy, a reflection of the Ryeong Style that aimed to confuse, disorient, and control the flow of combat.

In front of the trees in the forest, Jeok began experimenting with his position. At first, he only adjusted his feet to find the best way to move quickly. But gradually, he discovered that every element had to harmonize with the others. Over time, his stance evolved until it reached a point where everything seemed to flow in perfect synchronization.

The feet are slightly apart, with knees bent to provide stability without sacrificing mobility.

Body weight is evenly distributed, allowing quick changes of direction and fluid dodges.

Hands are always moving, describing small asymmetric circles with open palms.

This movement simulates the fabric of a spider web, creating unpredictable patterns that disorient opponents and make it difficult to anticipate the next attack or defense.

The torso tilts slightly forward, creating a sense of imminent attack but staying in constant smooth motion to the sides.

This fluidity gives the impression that Jeok is ready to strike from any angle at any moment.

The entire set, from hand movements to torso rotation, is designed to confuse the opponent. The seemingly chaotic patterns make it hard to predict his next move, leaving gaps for Jeok to attack with precision.

The day he perfected the stance, Jeok was in front of a tree, practicing his movements in continuous flow. Every adjustment, rotation, and change of direction brought him closer to understanding how to use his stance to maximize chaos and fluidity. At one point, he stopped and looked at his own hands as they described circles in the air.

—This is my stance —he murmured, feeling how everything finally fit together—. It's like a spider web, impossible to predict, impossible to control.

That night, he returned to his apartment, feeling more confident than ever about what he was building. He opened his Ryeong Style notebook and dedicated a special section to his stance:

"The Spider Web Stance"

Base: Flexible but stable.

Hands: Continuous circular movement of the palms to confuse.

Torso: Fluid tilt forward, moving smoothly to the sides.

Objective: Control the rhythm of the fight and disorient the opponent.

With this stance now as the core of his style, Jeok knew he was better prepared than ever to face any challenge. The Spider Web Stance was not just a technique but a physical representation of the spirit of the Ryeong Style.
