the void

As I walk through the empty plains of existence—where all that is and was lies bare before my eyes, yet shrouded in a veil of darkness—I cry out silently, for the world to hear:

"What is it that drives a world such as this to strive forward?"

As I ponder, a tiny light appears high above the cold, somber void. It resembles a lone star suspended in the winter night sky. From that distant point comes a light so pure and bright it chases away the chill.

The star, though voiceless, bursts into song—and the darkness, as if jealous of the light, follows in harmony. Together, their music fills the silence, and the once desolate emptiness becomes almost welcoming.

And in that moment, the answer became clear:

"Hope..."
