Chapter 13 - The Silent Sabotage

"Alright... we need to make some noise,"

Adlof said, a sly grin spreading across his face.

Sam, confused and slightly worried, asked,

"What are you thinking?"

Adlof chuckled darkly,

"Hehehe... you'll find out soon enough."

Without wasting a second, he called Nouraldeen over and they both rushed toward the car.

Kim and Sinan, noticing the sudden movement, turned to Sam with puzzled expressions.

"What's going on?" they asked.

Sam smiled and explained,

"They're gathering supplies. We're about to upgrade the shelter."

Both Kim and Sinan cheered joyfully,

"Wooow!"

Meanwhile, Adlof and Nouraldeen arrived near the settlement.

Adlof dropped Nouraldeen off and continued driving toward the large storage facility.

Nouraldeen infiltrated the compound and began attacking the guards using the new weapon Sam had crafted.

His assault was so fierce it attracted half of the security forces, drawing them far from their posts and deep into the forest.

At the same time, Adlof reached the storage site.

The door was locked.

He hesitated briefly,

"Would breaking it alert someone?"

But he remembered the chaos Nouraldeen was causing — smiled — and smashed the door open without fear.

Inside, he quickly gathered the required materials.

While searching, he stumbled upon a huge stockpile of food and a massive water pipe that supplied the entire settlement.

He paused, thinking...

The desire to control this settlement was overwhelming.

Steeling his nerves, he pulled out a vial of poison and carefully poured it into the irrigation water pipe.

A pang of guilt hit him — but he brushed it off.

"There's no turning back now."

Adlof rushed out to find Nouraldeen, who was still leading the guards on a wild chase.

Suddenly, the roar of an approaching car echoed through the forest.

Adlof's vehicle burst out of the trees like lightning.

Nouraldeen reacted immediately, leaping into the car and disappearing from the guards' view.

The two returned to the shelter — mission complete —

and it was finally time to get to work.
