Chapter 7 - CHAPTER SEVEN

Ashley.

I was heading to Silver's office to make some enquiries concerning the proposal that was given to me by her father, when I heard some strange noise echoing through the building.

"Where is this cricket noise coming from?" I mumbled, tilting my head sideways so as to know the direction it was coming from.

As I stepped closer to Silver's office, I heard some weird sounds coming out from her office. The sound was louder this time.

"What could be happening there." I muttered as I raised my hands to knock before entering inside.

"Kill me.. kill me.." yelled the voice from the office. who is killing who? I was confused. I don't even understand what was going on. Or is she in danger? I reasoned.

I opened the door without anyone letting me in and before I could enter, a stench smell was already oozing out and I immediately covered my nose.

"What's this stench smell?" I wrinkled my nose in disgust. "This is too much, ewww." I raised my face to see what was actually happening.

What I saw left me staggering. I couldn't hold anything for support. I touched my handkerchiefto my sensitive nose. They weren't even aware that someone just entered the office.

What if a child had entered here without warning, what would be the outcome and what will that child learn from them?

Imagine if one of the investors had come into the company and met them like this, what would they think of a company called Crispan?

That this is a place where people do as they like without control and no value and integrity to their name.

I could hear footsteps echoing through the hallway. Someone might actually be coming in this direction. I thought.

Not wanting anybody to see them like this, I quickly closed the door and left to see the person whose footsteps I heard.

Lo and behold, it was her uncle, Mr. Davis. "Good day Mr. Davis." I greeted, smiling at him.

He extended his right hand for a handshake and I didn't hesitate to reciprocate. "Good day to you."

"I guess your day was as good as mine." He asked, his eyes focusing intently on my face.

"Sure, it was good sir." I answered as my lips moved in a smile. "Where are you headed to sir?"

"I'm about to go to Silver's office to relay some information to her from her father." He voiced confidently like the general oversea that he is.

My mind flashed back to what I encountered earlier at Silver's office that I didn't know when my name was called.

Mr. Davis jolted me out of my thoughts with a tap on my shoulder. "Si..r sir.."

"Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes narrowed as he searched my face.

"Yes, I'm alright. Just that Silver isn't in her office. I left there just now." I lied, not wanting Mr. Davis to behold the sex scene.

"Okay then. I will give her a call or probably check on her later." He said, a worried frown creasing his forehead.

"Alright." I breathed. I waited till he took his leave before heading again to Silver's office. I can't believe that these two are still fucking. Although the sounds were faint this time.

What sort of humans are these? Why can't they wait till they get to their house? I opened the door and entered inside, shutting it behind me.

"Are you guys insane?" I yelled, looking from one person to the other. They scurried for their clothes immediately they heard my voice.

Finally, they are back to reality and to their senses. I sat down on one of the couches in the office while they went to the restroom to wash off.

As I waited for the couple to finish whatever they were doing inside the washroom, a text from Tyler popped on my phone screen.

"How are you doing?" He asked, with lots of love emoji.

"I'm not alright." I replied, my cheeks turning red.

Suddenly, his call came in and I blushed before taking his calls. "The most handsome man I know, you never cease to amaze me.

"Yeah, the prettiest one, knowing you is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me." He cooed over the phone.

"Thank you Tyler." I appreciated, grinning from ear to ear.

"You said you weren't okay and that's why I called. What is wrong?" He asked in the most curious tone of voice.

"Something really disgusting happened here but well that's a gist for another day. And yes I'm cool. I was just teasing you earlier." I answered with a soft laugh.

"Alright, if you say so. Take very good care of yourself." He sighed.

"You too. Bye."

And with that he hung up.

By the time I was done with the call, Silver and Raymond were already out of the wash room. They stood staring at me like I stole something from them.

"Why are you here?" Silver yelled, shooting me a deadly glare.

"I came here as regards the proposal because I needed to make some enquiries from you." I cried out.

"And that is why you left your manners at home." She thundered, her eyes glittering with anger.

"What do you mean?" I said puzzledly.

"You came in here without anyone letting you in." She roared. Who does that?

"Is that so?" I asked crudely. "Your silly moans were echoing throughout this building and you guys were here making out without any control."

"I guess you were jealous of us making out and you couldn't stand it." She belittled.

"Is that what is in that head of yours? What if someone else had seen you guys in that manner. What would you have done? You didn't lock your door remember."

"That doesn't give you the licence to come in here. I can't recall the last time I shared my office with you."

"Shut that crap. Besides I saved your silly ass by covering up for you. If not, I wondered what your uncle would have said if he had met you like that moaning recklessly."

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and smacked her tongue.

"Please next time be careful. This is a company and not a bedroom for incessant pleasures." I cautioned. "I will leave you two for now."

"And for what I came for earlier, I will get back to you later or some other time. Have a nice day." I left, shutting the door on their miserable faces.
