Once again, I'm just spending my whole time dozing off and doing nothing but playing games.
My food is ready, I just need to reheat it. The house is already clean, and the clothes are hung outside.
For now, I'm spending my time alone because...
[Last Night]
"Dear, about that phone call earlier — it looks like I'll be out tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll cook for you before I leave."
"Oh, okay. Take care."
"Won't you feel lonely?"
"No, I'm good."
"Aw, so cold! I'll feel lonely though. I'll get home early, promise~"
[Present]
I woke up this morning and she had already left. And too bad — I'm stuck slacking off the whole day again!
I miss my parents… Should I visit them? But Hayase forgot to leave me any money...

Hayase's POV
Hotel Laurasia — Akihabara Branch
Hmm, as expected of my hotel — brimming with guests as always.
Riding my signature black limousine, the staff lined up, offering their most respectful greetings.
"Welcome, Hayase-sama."
"Yes, yes, you can go back to work. No need for further greetings."
They scattered and returned to their workplaces.
Every guest's eyes turned toward me, curious about why all the staff had lined up. I can't blame them — I rarely show up at my hotel and resort branches.
I approached the receptionist.
"Hello, kindly call my personal maid. I'll be waiting at the lobby."
"Yes, ma'am."
I headed to the hotel lobby. The guests were still staring, but no one dared to approach me.
After a few minutes, my personal maid arrived.
"Hayase-sama, shall we go now?"
We took the elevator up to my office on the 20th floor.
"Are the guests already here?"
"Yes, Hayase-sama. As I said on the phone, I could have entertained them in your place."
"Nah. He's been persistent lately. I'll turn him down myself today."
I entered the conference room inside my office.
There, a man was waiting — someone I knew well.
"Mr. Hiiragi, I apologize for keeping you waiting. May I ask what your concern is?"
"Good morning, Hayase Ichijou. You already know why I'm here, right?"
"If you're still insisting on your proposal for us to marry, then I'll humbly decline. I already have a husband waiting for me at home. I'd appreciate it if we could settle this quickly — he gets lonely easily."
He laughed at me, slamming the table.
"Are you joking, Hayase? Who in their right mind would marry a lazy shut-in like you? Besides, aren't you thinking properly? If we marry, our companies would become the biggest and strongest — not just in Japan, but in all of East Asia!"
"You're right about that. But I don't like standing out, you know. Being the owner of a famous company in Japan is enough for me. As for my husband? I bought him, haha. So don't worry — he won't get tired of a lazy shut-in like me."
"You're crazy!"
"Yes, crazy enough to crush you and make you crawl if you dare touch my husband. I know you, Hiiragi. Don't do anything stupid that will upset me."
"I'm done here. I'm leaving. And don't you dare ask for our assistance when your stupid decision backfires."
"Yeah, yeah, leave already. Be careful not to fall down the stairs."
And with that, my once-chaotic office returned to peace.
"Uhm, Maid-chan, ask some of our men to follow Hiiragi. I don't want any unnecessary mess."
"Yes, Hayase-sama. By the way, I assume you're here not just to deal with someone you don't care about?"
"Yeah, I need to consult something with you, Maid-chan."
"I understand, my lady. Let me prepare some tea first."
I waited as my maid brewed the tea, then moved into the private room in my office. It's where I stay overnight when work piles up.
It has a bed, a table, and all office necessities — except manga and a TV. I need to avoid distractions or I'll never get anything done.
"Here's your green tea, Hayase-sama. Now, what's this serious matter you wanted to talk about?"
I straightened up, casually sipped the tea, and replied in a serious tone:
"It's about... the boy I took the other day."
"Pardon my rudeness, but... is that the serious thing you wanted to talk about? Sorry, but that makes no sense to me."
[Akira's POV]
"Achoo!"
Damn it. Slacking too much can really make a person sick.
