Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Not Dao Ge, I Didn’t Say Anything.

Room 902, Building 1.

Dao Ge, who had just extricated himself from between two women, was venting his fury at the sight of his younger brother, now half-eaten by Zombies, lying on the ground.

"It was Tiger and his crew. They didn't return last night. We found the body this morning," a trembling underling reported.

"Damn it!"

"My brother didn't come back last night, and you didn't tell me earlier!"

"Are you trying to get my brother killed?!"

Dao Ge cursed while violently kicking the underling who had come to report.

The underling had no choice but to endure the abuse.

Last night, Dao Ge had been busy with the two women all night, and this morning, he had started again.

Only now, when he finally stopped, did the underling get a chance to report.

Even as the underling was nearly kicked to death, Dao Ge showed no signs of stopping.

In this Apocalypse, human life was the cheapest thing around.

Those who witnessed the scene stood frozen in fear, not daring to make a sound.

After kicking the underling to death, Dao Ge, now drenched in sweat, took a tissue from one of the women.

"Dao Ge, don't be too upset," the woman tried to comfort him, but the next second—

"Upset? Hell no!"

"That bastard still owed me two women!"

"Now that he's dead, who am I supposed to collect from?!"

"Damn it!"

With that, Dao Ge grabbed the woman by her hair.

"I'm really pissed off right now!"

After 30 seconds of earth-shaking fury, Dao Ge finally calmed down.

"Did you figure out who's bold enough to mess with my sworn brother?!"

"Dao… Dao Ge, last night you sent Tiger and his crew to ambush that kid in Building 5 and snatch the Twin flowers."

"It's probably that kid who did it!" one of the underlings mustered the courage to say.

"Damn it! Yesterday, he stole my supplies and killed my brothers, and I haven't even settled the score with him yet. Now he dares to kill my own brother?!"

"Everyone, gather up! We're going to kill that kid and avenge my brother!"

"I've never had the chance to enjoy Twin flowers before!"

"Hahaha!"

Just as Dao Ge was about to stand up, the door to the room suddenly burst open.

A man walked in, holding a Tang Saber dripping with blood, drop by drop.

"No need to gather. The underlings you had on guard outside are all dead!"

Before anyone in the room could react, another underling rushed in to report.

"Dao Ge, someone's breaking in—"

Before he could finish, a flash of the saber sliced through his neck, and his head fell to the ground.

Splat!

Blood sprayed everywhere, splattering onto the remaining underlings in the room.

The underlings inside couldn't help but take a few steps back in fear.

"Oh, I missed one," came a casual remark, instantly darkening Dao Ge's face.

Damn it, I saw it myself! What's the point of reporting now?!

But it also made him realize who the intruder was.

"So, you're the one who killed my brother?"

Even though a dozen of his underlings had been killed outside, Dao Ge remained unfazed.

The weapon at his waist was his confidence!

"Are you talking about that guy named Tiger last night? Oh, yeah, I killed him," Meng De replied, thinking Dao Ge was about to make some threats. But instead, he saw Dao Ge's calm demeanor instantly turn into rage.

"Damn it! Do you know that bastard was my beloved friend and sworn brother?!"

"Damn it, he still owes me twenty women! Fuck!"

Meng De: .

This was the first time he had heard someone describe their own brother like that.

So, he's just adding to the price, huh?

A subordinate instinctively chimed in.

"Dao Ge, wasn't it just two?"

The next second, with a "bang," the subordinate was shot dead by Dao Ge.

"Fuck you! Who told you to speak? I said twenty, so it's twenty!"

Dao Ge sat domineeringly on the bed, grabbing a woman and pinning her beneath him. He played with the gun in his hand, looking at Meng De with interest as he entered.

Even though he was being confronted, having a gun in his hand made him completely unflustered, as if victory was already his.

No matter how skilled someone was in martial arts, they would still fear the gun in his hand.

This gun was something he had obtained from the nearest police station.

Thanks to this gun, he had been able to intimidate his subordinates and maintain his position during the apocalypse!

Since the apocalypse began, he had already shot and killed more than ten people with this gun.

"Kid, how do you plan to settle this debt?"

"You stole my supplies yesterday and killed my brother. How about you call me 'Grandpa' and hand over that pair of Twin Flowers for me to have some fun with?"

"When I'm finally satisfied, I might spare your life. How about that? Hahaha!"

Dao Ge's sinister laughter filled the room.

Hearing this, Meng De's playful expression vanished, and a cold glint flashed in his deep eyes.

The way he looked at Dao Ge was no different from looking at a dead man!

The Tang Saber in his hand was raised.

"Hey, kid, don't move!"

"Or else if this gun goes off, don't blame me!"

Dao Ge tried to threaten him, but Meng De paid no attention, taking step after step toward him.

The room was quite large, originally a living room.

But now, Dao Ge had placed a large bed in the center.

On either side stood his subordinates, armed with knives and clubs, glaring at Meng De.

Seeing Meng De remain unfazed, a flash of cruelty appeared in Dao Ge's eyes, and he fired a shot at Meng De's head.

"Kid, die!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, a bullet flew toward Meng De.

Facing the bullet, Meng De didn't dodge or avoid it.

Is this kid insane?!

Dao Ge's face twisted with malice!

He expected to see Meng De's head blown apart, but what happened next made him question reality.

Just as the bullet was about to hit Meng De, a bottomless black hole, swirling with mysterious energy, suddenly appeared in front of him.

The bullet was instantly swallowed by the black hole.

Behind the black hole, Meng De remained unharmed, even smiling at him!!!

Tiger's menacing expression froze in an instant.

What the hell is this?

Bullet vanishing trick?

But what shocked him even more was that the bullet he had just fired reappeared, embedded in the forehead of one of his subordinates.

"Bang!"

One of his subordinates was killed by the very bullet he had fired.

The subordinate died with a look of utter confusion on his face.

His wide eyes were filled with bewilderment.

It wasn't me, Dao Ge, I didn't say anything...

The other subordinates, seeing this, also looked at Dao Ge in confusion.

Boss, none of us spoke, why are you shooting at us?!

You missed...

Being stared at like this by his subordinates, Dao Ge's face couldn't hold up!

"Damn it!"

"I missed just now!"

Subordinate: .

"Again!"

The gun fired.

The same scene repeated itself.

The same bullet shot towards Meng De and simply vanished.

The next second.

"Bang!"

Another subordinate was taken out.

This time, even Dao Ge was stunned.

Wait, since when did my marksmanship become so terrible???

Could it be because I've been shooting too much lately???

Dao Ge began to question his life.

If I don't laugh at this, I lose!
