"You cannot escape a story you wrote with your soul."
Aarav stared into the glowing eyes of Rohini Ma'am—No… not her. Not anymore.
The woman standing by the window wore her face, her warmth, her gentle voice—but beneath it all was something immense. Cosmic. Cold.
"W–Who are you?" he whispered.
The woman tilted her head, her three-pupiled eyes glinting like a trinity of novas. "I was your first teacher," she said softly. "Long before I taught you grammar or gravity."
She stepped forward, and the room's shadows shifted, bending away from her as if afraid.
"I watched over your soul for eons," she continued. "I was one of three who guarded the fragments of your memory. Until you touched the Seal."
Aarav's chest tightened. "The triangle... in the cave."
She nodded. "The Crown of Selene. It was never meant to awaken you. Not yet."
🌌 Memory Echoes
His fingers throbbed with phantom heat—the same heat he felt in the cave. His skin still tingled where her tears had once fallen in that impossible vision. But now, those memories weren't dreams.
They were remnants.
"Why me?" he asked, voice cracking.
The woman raised her hand.
In a burst of flickering stars, the ceiling of his bedroom vanished—revealing a sky that wasn't Earth's. Constellations hung too close, spinning slowly, rearranging into new patterns: a spiral, a triangle, a sword… and finally, a broken heart.
"Because you're not human, Aarav," she said. "You're a remnant of something older than time. You're a Starborn."
🌒 The Buried Name
Aarav stumbled back. "That's not possible—my mother, my home—"
"Were threads," she said. "We wove them for you. So your soul could heal."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pendant: a small, glassy crystal, shaped like a teardrop, glowing softly with silver-blue light.
When it came close to Aarav, it pulsed.
Thump.
Thump.
Like it was syncing with his heartbeat.
"Your real name," she said, "was once inscribed on this crystal."
She handed it to him.
His fingers trembled as he touched it——and suddenly, flashes of another life bombarded him.
Him holding Selene's hand, promising to never let go.
A temple in the stars, crumbling as he screamed her name.
A battle against celestial beings, one of whom wore his face.
And finally… a choice.
Selene's voice echoed:
"If you love me… you must forget me."
🌓 Tension Rises
The crystal fractured in his hand, releasing a tiny whisper.
"Elarion."
His true name. A name lost to time.
As he gasped, the door to his room flung open—
Samruddhi stood there, eyes wide. "Aarav?! I saw the eclipse—your house—what's happening?!"
Before Aarav could speak, Rohini turned. Her form shimmered—
—and for the briefest second, Samruddhi saw what she truly was.A being wrapped in constellations. A mother of moons. A judge of stars.
"Sam—run!" Aarav yelled.
But it was too late.
🌑 The One Who Watches
The room trembled. The stars in the false sky began to fade.
Rohini's form shimmered, glitching like bad reception.
"She's watching," Rohini whispered.
Aarav froze. "Who?"
Rohini didn't answer.Instead, she vanished—into light and dust.
A gust of wind rushed through the room.
In her place… stood another figure.
A woman in a robe stitched with falling stars. Face veiled. Eyes glowing white, like twin moons.
She raised her hand—and the room began to spin, caught in gravity beyond gravity.
"You have one chance, Aarav," she said.
"To remember the truth… or to die with the lie."
She pointed to the shattered pocket watch.
Its hands were spinning faster.
Backwards. Backwards. Backwards.
Then—
The watch exploded.
And everything went black.
