Rowan blinked at the pop-ups. "First off—that's awesome."
He turned to Sora. "You're super messed up. And evil."
Sora smiled sweetly. "Aww, you say the cutest things, boss."
Rowan raised an eyebrow. "Boss? When did that start?"
"Starting now," she said without missing a beat. "You've officially earned my respect. I expected you to survive. I didn't expect you to thrive."
Rowan frowned. "Then what the hell was with that penalty?"
"Motivation," she replied innocently.
"It did more than just motivate me," Rowan muttered. "Please never use something like that again."
"No promises."
"Of course. So—is that finally it?"
Sora grinned mischievously. "Yup. For now."
Rowan sighed. "That totally fills me with confidence."
He returned to his room, ready for a long bath and some sleep.

The Next Morning…
As Rowan stirred awake, another system notification hit him square in the face.

[Quest Updated]
Title: "Forced Visitation"
Objective: Go meet the Occult Research Club
Reward: Unlock Contracts
Penalty for Failure: Another round of Sora's trolling
---
Rowan stared at it. "I should have seen that coming."
He got dressed, then called on Sora. "What exactly does the reward entail?"
"Just the basics," she replied, floating beside him. "You'll get access to devil contracts. You do need to start working soon, boss. Rias and the higher-ups are gonna start asking what you're doing here."
"Fair point."
As they walked toward Kuoh Academy, they ran into Issei. The boy's gaze immediately locked onto Sora.
He rubbed his eyes, then stared harder. Who's the hot loli? he thought, as dirty scenarios filled his head.
Then—headache.
A sudden, searing pain lanced through Issei's skull. Sora smirked.
She clung to Rowan's arm and pressed herself close, putting on an innocent, high-pitched voice. "Boss~ I had so much fun last night~ We should totally do it again sometime!"
Rowan looked confused for a second—until he saw Issei's face and understood instantly. Of course she's doing this on purpose.
Rowan expected him to double over from the headache—but instead, something else happened.
With a burst of spectral smoke, a massive silverback gorilla materialized in front of Issei. It wore a tattered gakuran, dark shades, and a crimson armband labeled "Discipline." Its body radiated pure judgment.
Issei blinked. "Why is there a gorilla... in a school uniform?"
Everyone nearby just stared at him like he was the crazy one.
Realizing he was the only one who could see it, Issei started to panic. "No—this has to be a hallucination—!"
Too late.
The gorilla stepped forward and—with flawless speed—punched Issei straight in the nuts.
Thud.
No scream. Just collapse. Issei passed out, foaming at the mouth.
The gorilla crossed its arms proudly and gazed toward the horizon. Justice delivered.
Rowan stared, equal parts pity and amusement. Sora was on the ground, crying with laughter.
The gorilla turned, approached Rowan, stood tall, and gave him a formal salute.
A new notification appeared.

Rowan crossed his arms, impressed. "So... I have an overpowered gorilla now. That's cool."
He looked at Bancho. "You're dismissed. Do as you please until I need you."
Another salute, and Bancho vanished in a puff of smoke.
Rowan glanced at Sora. "Well... that was a thing."
"An amazing thing," she said, still grinning. "You better hurry though—class is about to start."
She vanished too.
---
Rowan reached the school gate with ten minutes to spare. Sona Sitri was there, clipboard in hand.
"At least you're on time," she said. "Now hurry to class—"
Rowan couldn't resist. "Wouldn't want the Student Council President to punish me."
She looked up—and blinked.
Rowan was… different. He moved with a refined swagger, every motion commanding respect. His once-messy hair was now slicked back, and his wild eyes held an edge of cool authority. He looked taller, sharper, dangerously confident.
She blushed.

What the hell did I do to gain affection from her? Rowan thought. Oh well. Not gonna complain.
Sona coughed. "J-Just get to class."
Rowan chuckled. "All right, all right."
As he walked the halls, every girl's eyes followed him. The boys looked ready to riot.
When he stepped into class and took his seat, the air shifted. His calm, storm-like presence made the room go still. All eyes locked onto him—anticipation heavy in the air.
Rowan just smirked.
If this is the result of all that chaos… yeah, I'll take it. Let's see what happens after class.
