Chapter 16 - AAMH: Chapter 16

"General Ross, have your people retreat," Yuma said into the communicator while dodging Hulk's attacks. "With Hulk's current state, once I escape, he'll shift his target to you or Abomination. If you provoke him again, I'm afraid it'll be impossible to control the situation."

"Alright, I understand," General Ross's voice came from the communicator. "Our agreement is still in effect. After you leave, I'll have Agent Romanoff contact you."

Yuma breathed a sigh of relief. Although the outcome wasn't perfect, at least the conditions remained the same. Once his people retreated, Hulk would only vent his anger on Abomination. Maybe he could take care of Abomination.

"Bakudō #8, Heki!"

"Bakudō #9, Kiku!"

"Kidō #4, Byakurai!"

"Kidō #12, Fukakase!"

Facing Hulk's attack, Yuma quickly released Kidō that didn't require chanting. The Reishi light flashed continuously, and nearby buildings collapsed and were damaged.

Fortunately, Hulk in his rage didn't have fighting skills like Abomination. He just simply punched and kicked. This allowed Yuma to dodge using Shunpo, avoiding being hit by Hulk again.

Low-level Kidō didn't have much effect on Hulk. They could only temporarily slow down his attack speed, but this achieved Yuma's purpose. He never expected these attacks to injure Hulk.

Yuma fought and retreated, slowly leading Hulk towards Abomination.

General Ross and his soldiers had already begun to retreat. Of course, they didn't retreat completely, but moved to a distance to continue monitoring Hulk and Abomination, preventing them from shifting the battle to the city. If that happened, they would have to use heavy weapons.

Every time these special ability users fought, it would cause huge losses. Just the last time they captured Hulk in New York, according to incomplete statistics, the direct losses amounted to billions of dollars, not including subsequent increases and casualties.

This was still the result of Hulk deliberately controlling himself and not going crazy.

If the two of them in their current state of anger charged into the city and fought, the casualties alone would be unbearable for General Ross.

Yuma struggled to resist Hulk's attacks. Hulk in his state of rage seemed to have infinite strength, and his attacks never stopped.

Even with Shunpo to dodge, Yuma was still injured in many places, the most serious being the chest where he was hit by Hulk.

He had already been injured once by Abomination, and now Hulk had given him another blow. Yuma was furious. He didn't know who he learned it from, but he always liked to hit people in the chest.

Thankfully, he wasn't a woman. He didn't have breasts, otherwise, he would have become flat-chested after those two blows.

Seeing that he was getting closer to Abomination, and Abomination had already gotten up, seemingly recovered, Yuma quickly dodged using Shunpo and released Kidō, Hyakujō Rankan, at both of them simultaneously.

Countless Reishi rods shot towards the two of them, as if they were machine guns.

Yuma took the opportunity to release another Sekienjun, enveloping the area in smoke, and then ran out of the battle zone, waiting for the two of them to react and attack each other.

As the smoke slowly dissipated, the two of them finally saw each other and, as Yuma had expected, began to fight.

Looking at the two fighting in the smoke, Yuma's eyes flashed. He abandoned his plan to release his Zanpakuto's Shikai.

Since he encountered Abomination, Yuma had been using Kidō to fight, not his Zanpakuto.

The main reason was that his Zanpakuto, although powerful, was area-of-effect and difficult to control.

With his current spiritual pressure, it was difficult to control. If he used it improperly, he might even injure Hulk.

Since Hulk was now completely dominating, there was no need for him to do anything unnecessary.

As for the mission, completing the first stage should be enough, right?

Shaking his head, Yuma stopped watching and quickly ran away from the battlefield.

Yuma didn't go back to join General Ross and his people. He just quickly left a message on the communicator, "Remember to fix my house. Also, send the compensation directly to my card," then hid in Hueco Mundo to recover from his injuries.

This time, Yuma didn't dare to go to Las Noches. He just found a random place and started recovering from his injuries. He didn't plan to go out unless he had to.

After Yuma left, the battle between Hulk and Abomination continued. It was unclear whether Hulk was less angry because Yuma had disappeared, but Abomination was actually fighting Hulk on equal footing.

Although Hulk was still stronger than Abomination, Abomination possessed superior fighting skills, which was enough to offset this gap.

The two fought from the port all the way to the beach. The area was in ruins, with flattened shipping containers and crushed forklifts everywhere.

Even three small cargo ships were sunk. As for the ground, the entire port, except for the exit, had no intact pavement.

"Update their files, re-evaluate their strength and destructive power," General Ross instructed the soldiers beside him, watching the battlefield. "Also, add Yuma. According to the same level, I have a feeling he's hiding something."

"Yes!" The soldier beside him replied, then began to re-analyze and record the three people's files, focusing on Yuma's abilities and power. Even Yuma's Kidō chants were roughly recorded.

On the other side, Yuma didn't know what happened afterwards. After recovering from his injuries, Yuma deliberately took a walk in Hueco Mundo, waiting until the next day to return to the real world.

He was mainly worried that if he came back too early, Hulk's anger wouldn't have subsided, and he would come looking for him again.

As soon as he returned to the real world, his phone started ringing non-stop. Yuma took it out and saw five missed calls and one text message from Natasha.

The remaining 329 were all from Banner!

I knew I shouldn't have given them my number, Yuma muttered to himself.

He first checked Natasha's message. It was mainly about the agreement, and she also informed Yuma about the outcome of Hulk and Abomination's battle last night.

The two of them fought until the end, and Hulk was still stronger, pinning Abomination to the ground and rubbing him.

Just when everyone thought Abomination was about to be destroyed, a large number of armed men suddenly appeared and launched a carpet bombing on Hulk, including some powerful heavy weapons.

After sacrificing more than 20 people, they successfully rescued Abomination from under Hulk's and General Ross's noses.

The feedback from General Ross's side was that the entire combat network and alarm system at the port were hacked last night. This was why they could enter and leave the battlefield without any obstacles.

In other words, everything last night was done under their noses. Basically, everything was exposed to the enemy, including Yuma's information.

"Alipay payment received, 800 million Dollars, 800 million Dollars…"

Just as Yuma was about to call Natasha back, his phone rang. It was Banner.

Yuma's eyelids twitched. He pressed the answer button. "Banner, I'm about to say goodbye to you. I'm going to go relax and take a trip to the outer galaxy."

"We should stop contacting each other for a while. If you really miss me, look at the stars in the sky."

"Alright, I'm not going to talk anymore. I'm getting on the spaceship. They don't allow phones on board. Goodbye!"

After hanging up the phone, Yuma breathed a sigh of relief and immediately turned it off.

On the other end of the phone, Banner and Betty looked at each other, dumbfounded, listening to the beeping sound on the phone…
