Keifer's POV
I think something is wrong. As far as I remember I'm the oldest among
the three of us. But why does Keigan seem older than us now.
"Why do you even know the Doctor?" He asked while glaring at me.
I can't swallow my food because of what he's doing.
Even the butlers and maids are surprised by his behavior.
It's morning but he's already lecturing me. He's angry
because of what I did to leave the Hospital even though it's not really possible.
We were supposed to have a normal breakfast but my brother choose to scold
me while eating.
"Babylyn!" He called one of the maids and we all flinched because of his
voice. "...Please follow the diet the Doctor gave to my brother."
"Yes, Sir—."
I cut them off. "You don't have to."
"No! You have to." Keigan insisted.
I'm starting to get annoyed by his behavior. He's still smart to me and
as if he's still the Boss here in the house.
I drink water vigorously and look at him straight in the eye.
"I said, you don't have to." My tone is calm but can still sense
authority. "...do you even want to know about my food?"
"The Doctor bought it so your wound can heal quickly."
"It's like something new is happening to you. I've been stabbed and broken a bone a few times but I never followed that diet plan. I don't even do drugs."
He wipes his lips using the table napkin after putting down his spoon and
fork. He looks at me seriously not showing any sign of giving up the
conversation.
"It's different now. You can't see any weakness in me. We
already talk about this before."
"I have no weakness—."
He chuckled bitterly. "Really? What do you call that wound? Why did you get stabbed?"
I look away. He doesn't know that I saved Jay-jay. All he knows is that I was just involved in a simple fight. The people we were fighting with came back to me and helped me while I was alone.
"I was occupied. I didn't notice the knife." I simply explain.
I saw him mouthing 'bullsh*t'. I don't like him talking like that
in front of me. I cross my arms and my forehead crease.
"Yes, it is really bullshit. Especially that you're not there and didn't
see what exactly happened!" I'm starting to raise my voice.
He looks guilty before avoiding my eyes. I looked at my wrist watch and
released a heavy sigh.
"Get ready, you'll be late for school. I said before looking at
Keiren.
He looked so uncomfortable. Maybe because of our conversation. Keigan and I were almost
fighting in front of him.
"I-i'm done." He said almost whispering.
I force a smile. "Your personal butler will drive you to school."
"Why not you?"
I pointed to the part where I was stabbed. He tilted his
head slightly to look at it.
"Still giving me trouble to drive." I explained and he nodded.
I motioned for his butler to approach Keiren. He helped
him get his bag but my youngest
brother was stubborn. He insisted that he do it.
Keigan followed them after.
"Make sure you won't do something crazy again." He said before
leaving the Dining room.
I motioned for the maids to I want to go away. I want to be alone.
I washed my face with my two hands. I gave Keigan my full trust for the plans we had in mind but why do I feel like he's taking advantage of what's happening to make me do what he wants.
I'm confused by his behavior. I'd rather figure out our bigger problem first.
For now I have to go to school.
I took my phone and dialed Yuri's number. It took just a few seconds
before he answered.
["Keifer..."]
"Are you coming in? I'll come with you again."
I heard him sighs. ["You know I'm going to pick up Jay-jay, right?"]
I smiled mischievously "I know. That's give me more reason to ride
along.
["Fine. I'm on my way."] He said and I ended the call.
I stood up and picked up my bag with a single piece of notebook
inside. I was walking out of the house when I noticed some
bodyguards in the garage. I quickly approached them.
"I told you not to show up here. What are you doing?" I ask them
sounds irritated.
"Sir... Just reporting. We saw some of your Dad's men.
They're hanging around the house."
"Any casualties?" This time I sound formal.
"None Sir. But we suggest bodyguards for your protection."
I shook my head. "No. I don't want bodyguards."
"But Sir—."
"I said no!"
They bowed together. I sighed after
holding my breath.
"Did you go to Jay-jay?"
"Sir, Kiegan blocked us."
Damn it!
He said he would get involved. He thought Clyde and I would notice when they saw that I still had a connection to Jay-jay.
My only hope was for our friends.
This is annoying. I feel like we're on an island in the middle of a
big ocean. Resources are scarce and the only way to
save Jay-jay is to put him on a boat leaving the island.
What should I do now?
I saw Yuri's car at the gate of the house. I just signaled the
bodyguards to go back to work before finally approaching the vehicle
waiting for me.
I knocked on his car window. I heard the door unlock so
I opened it and got in right away.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
I nodded shortly as an answer for him.
"Is this the last time you've been with me?"
"And why?"
His forehead creased. "You're bothering Jay-jay and me."
"Wow... Shame." I sarcastically said.
He drives his car while still talking. "How will I make her mine when
you're always around? She's still mixed up in emotions so it's not nice to see her."
"Around her or not if she'll be yours—she will be. Otherwise you're a
loser."
"Tss..." He sounds pissed.
I can't help but smile. Maybe he has plans for Jay-jay today. But he obviously have to postpone it because of me.
Not that long when we arrive at our destination. He opens the car door and gets out.
"Behave!" He said with a warning shot in his eyes before slamming the
car door.
Sometimes it's really nice to annoy a friend. I can't help but think of some new nonsense.
My phone suddenly rang. I took it and got out of the car before answering.
"What?"
["Sungit... Where are you?"] It was Honey.
"It's probably time to go to school."
["Whatever. Uncle said we should set another meeting. We're about to leave."]
We're about to leave? How? Why?
"Wait! What's up? It's almost time?"
["Hhmm... Well. You don't talk to me so you don't know."]
I washed my face with one hand. It felt like there was a change in plan.
"What is it?"
["We have to leave earlier than the original plan."]
No! No! Not yet. I can't leave yet. I can't leave Jay-jay yet. I haven't been able to talk to our friends properly. I haven't been able to subdue the people who want to hurt him yet. My plan for him isn't complete yet.
I looked at their house and stood up straight when I saw him
walking towards the car.
Not yet.
"I'll talk to you later." I ended the call without waiting for her answer.
I saw Jay-jay bowing as he approached Yuri's car. He barely
crawled. I slowly walked closer to her. I stopped
just a meter away from her.
From the back of the car she stood up and peeked inside. Maybe spying
to check something inside. She seemed to be wondering if I was inside.
"What are you doing?"
She was stunned when she heard me speak. She clearly wasn't expecting
this.
"Again... What are you doing?" I ask again.
She slowly turned around to face me but her head was slightly looking
down. I wanted her to face me. I wanted to see her eyes. I wanted to see her whole self even though I knew the only reaction I would see from her would be anger.
I missed staring at her.
"None of your business." She answered.
She's about to walk away but I stop her by blocking her way using my
arm. Despite her, I was about to pass by but I did the same.
Both arms were blocking her on either side. She was trapped and my body was just a little closer, I could claim her lips.
But I wouldn't deny it. My wound was aching because of the way my
arm was raised. I hid the pain I was feeling. She couldn't
know.
"W-what?!" She asks sounds irritated while avoiding my eyes.
I don't want her to avoid me. I badly want to see her eyes. I know there's an
emotion inside her and I want to see it. Yes, she's angry with me but I also want to
see that.
I'm really getting weirder.
I also don't understand why I want to see her
emotion. Maybe I'm waiting to see something.
"Look at me." I command but she didn't move a muscle. I release a
heavy sighs. "Look.At.Me."
She still didn't do anything. I smiled slightly. Her
head was still stiff. She really is the type—if you don't want it, you don't want it. I have to be persistent.
"Look..." I hold her chin and force her to face me. "...At..." I look at her
straight in the eye. "...Me."
There it is.
I saw it immediately. I saw different emotions and feelings. A mix of emotions. Anger, pain and what I was looking for—loneliness. How I wish that
was for me.
That's all I wanted to know so I could make sure she was still mine.
But this girl was just annoying. Her trip and the things she was doing were really strange.
She played with her own eyes. She looked around. I don't know
why she had to do such a thing.
My forehead slightly creased. "What the hell."
It didn't last long either. She looked hurt by her own
antics. She just closed her eyes after touching it with her
hands.
"You're welcome." I said.
She opened her eyes after a few seconds. She looked at me evilly and
looked ready to fight me.
"Go away!" She shouts but I didn't listen. "Go away! You said!"
Profanity.
My lips automatically form a smile. I feel like sometimes she really meant to curse so I could kiss her. But I know, right now that
she's not doing it on purpose.
"Keifer."
I almost roll my eyes. But this Yuri is the other way round. He really disturbs
us.
"...Let's go." He said
I didn't move a muscle. My eyes still looking at Jay-jay. I'm still smiling
like a lunatic. I really miss being so close to her like this.
If only I could always do this. If only I could always be
close to her like this. I don't want to let go. I can't let her go.
"Go away!" She shouts again.
I slowly move closer to her. I can see her pulling away and trying to avoid me but that was just a reason for me to get closer to her ears.
"Profanity." I whispered and kissed her neck.
I was going to kiss her on the lips but that was impossible. I immediately
left in front of her and got into Yuri's car. I leaned over and
held my wound.
It took a long time for the pain I was feeling to go away. I usually ignore this kind of pain but this one lasted a long time. I guess it shouldI should be careful and this might even be the reason for my defeat.
Yuri and Jay also got in the car. We were silent the entire
trip. When we arrived at school, the car hadn't even parked when Jay-jay got out.
The person next to me just sighed.
"What's your plan Keifer?" Yuri asked lifelessly.
"Huh?!"
"You pushed her away and now you kissed her."
Shit!
I should really think about what I'm going to do first. This is so
negligent. I probably won't stop someone from asking.
"I'm just playing around."
I didn't wait for any answer from him. I step out of his car and walk
away. I went to the room first.
When we got there, I caught Ci-N teasing Jay-jay. As
expected, they were insisting again. I feel sorry for this kid. It looks like he's going to have a hard time convincing Jay-jay.
Maybe later I should talk to him. I'll need his help when I leave—.
"I don't want to! What do you not understand about the word "I don't want to?"!"
She suddenly shouts.
We all looked at them. Ci-N looks down. I know he's about to cry but tries his best to hold it.
"Okay, I'll put it aside. We'll eat later." He said in a low voice.
Jay-jay looked at us so the others quickly looked away. She went back to what she was doing. Her eyes turned to my direction. My heart skipped a bit when our gaze met.

It's a good thing I didn't react right away. She just gave me a hard time before she sat down in her seat. I went back to my seat.
I looked at Yuri as she sat down in her seat. He gave me
a weird meaningful look. It was as if he was saying that he would also know what I was hiding.
I wish he wouldn't know. I don't want to get involved with him, maybe he'll completely ruin it for his family. His status in their entire clan is no longer the same as before. Even if he doesn't admit it, I know that.
I just don't want to force her to talk. Because she's like that, I'm also thinking the same thing. Damn! For a long time, I've been hesitant to
befriend her. It seems like we're becoming the same in many
things.
I release a few heavy sighs until I notice Jay-jay walking toward Edrix.
They're talking about something that I can't hear. She even handed her
phone to him but he rejected it by looking down.
I don't like what's happening. It feels like I'm being cornered. Did she find out
the app on her phone? Edrix said it's unnoticeable because of its icon logo.
Safe with password so it's hard to uninstall.
They continue talking until Jay-jay shouts at him. She looks so pissed.
Edrix on the other hand obviously don't know what to do. He even look at
me as if asking for help.
"Answer me! I'm starting to get angry!" She shouts.
Everyone's eyes are on her again. They clearly don't like what Jay-jay is doing either. Until he punches the table in front of her.
The others stand up in alarm. I can see Edrix's shoulders rise and fall before he finally takes Jay's cellphone.
She looks a bit shocked when she notices that he can have an access on her
phone without asking for her permission.
Damn! Edrix don't have a fvcking choice.
"OTJ101 stands for Operation Tracking Jay-jay Version 10.1." Edrix
said and put down the phone. "I-I programmed that App to
find your phone's location. It uses a signal, so it's easier to use than what the Police and regular people use."
I can see Jay-jay's mouth open slightly. Definitely shocked.
Now he knows how we're going to find him.
"B-except..." He continued. "...This App is now linked to another cellphone." He looked at me causing Jay-jay to turn and meet my gaze.
"All your text messages and phone calls are also going to that App. So with the linked phone, your messages can also be read and your phone calls can also be heard."
I almost hissed. Now she knows that too. I admit that I read a few of her messages and conversations, especially the ones she and Yuri talked about. But neither
sometimes I didn't listen to her conversation or call with others.
I only looked at call logs.
Jay-jay obviously tries her best to calm down. She's really amazing.
She still manages to keep her cool despite what she found out.
"Whose cellphone is that linked to?" She asks that almost drains my
blood.
"K-to Keifer." Edrix answers
Dammit!
Jay-jay suddenly picked up his phone and threw it at me.
I knew immediately where it would hit so I just tilted my head
in the other direction.
I heard it hit somewhere and shatter.
"You're so strong!" She's furious. "You really don't forgive me!"
I remain calm with no expression. I need to be careful with
speaking and it might just cause another mess in the room.
"You're really persistent in your plan, aren't you?! You're even interfering in private matters!" She shouts. "...Are you really that
stupid?!"
For some reason, I enjoy watching her being mad at me. Even though she shouldn't be, she's so angry, that's still how it feels.
No wonder men are called assholes by women. Because we intend to
enjoy seeing them pissed.
Now I'm a class A asshole.
I rolled my eyes with my own thoughts. Suddenly,
Jay came up to me. With her fist clenching she's about to punch me but Yuri immediately
hold her from her back.
I almost stood up to try to push them away but Yuri quickly pushed Jay-jay away. I have to control myself. I can't always
act for her.
"Let me go!" She shouts while trying to escape.
As soon as they left the door, everyone immediately looked at Edrix. He's
looking down while massaging his nape.
"You're so stupid, Pre!" Eren said angrily.
"He did the right thing." Eman depends on him. "...what? Are we going to fool Jay-jay again? It's too late!"
"What now? What if he gets hurt again? What are we going to use to track him?" Denzel asks.
Edrix didn't react to what they said. He approached Jay's phone that was behind me. He bent down and picked up some broken pieces of the cellphone from the floor.
"Let's just put his new phone." Rory suggested.
"That's impossible! Of course he wouldn't let me touch his new phone if he knew there was an app like that that he installed without his attention." Blaster said.
"We're in a bad shot, Jay-jay." Calix commented.
We almost sighed in unison. That app was a big loss for us. It's going to be hard to find him again.
"Jay-jay passed out!" Blaster suddenly shouted.
He was standing at the door and peeking outside. He immediately ran towards Jay-jay. The others did the same.
I badly want to follow them. But if I do that, Yuri will prove
what he thinks of me.
I have to be careful!
