The black haired woman was sent flying through the roof as she turned midair and landed on the roof of a nearby house.
From the looks of it, she seemed to have gone through quite the wringer with bruises and cuts on her as well as the blood around her mouth.
But unlike a normal person, she had a wide grin on her face as spotted the man covered black and gold energy walk out of the rundown house.
His right eye had turned completelygold while his left eye turned pitch black as a black liquid flowed out of it resembling tear streaks.

His face was set into a neutral expression as he turned look directly at her.
"Ara, I seem to have misjudged you! You are no coward, you're a beast! Now show me your guts!!!"
She yelled, launching herself towards him with her daggers ready to rip him apart.
Her Right arm shot forward at incredible speed, her dagger aimed at his abdomen but it only met air as it cut through the after image while subaru was already on her right.
BANG!!!
Before she could register what happened a fist connected with the force of 10 sledge hammers striking at once, sending her flying and tumbling across the street.
She somehow managed to stop herself with her daggers after tumbling for a good 15 meters. She stood back up but barely as her vision was swimming, the blow rattling her brain.
There was blood coming from her right eye and ear while a purple bruise formed on her cheek and her face looked dented.
The hearing in her right ear was gone and she could barely stand but the infuriating grin was still there.
"Wou bac quik twa puncc.... bub ou awen' quihe perapive." (You pack quite the punch.... but you aren't quite perceptive.)
She jumbled out as a thin red line formed on subaru's abs, blood flowing out from it.
The dagger wasn't able to reach deeper due to the church's gear but the damage was still done.
But to her surprise, the wound began to steam as threads of golden energy came out from the edges of the cut and sewed it shut and in a matter of seconds, the wound was gone.

She looked at the now healed wound in shock but it didn't last long as she moved to her left, missing a straight that would have taken her head clean off.
But to her surprise, it was simply a feint as his right knee connected to her side, breaking few of her ribs and lifting her in the air.He didn't stop there tho as he spun his body and launched a kick to her head.
Out of instinct, she was able to raise her daggers to block the kick which broke on impact but the impact sent her flying into a house and right through it.
She didn't get the time to even register the pain before being grabbed by the face and slammed into the ground then thrown back into the house where it all started, the force of collision making a section of it collapse.
Subaru ran after her then, channeling more energy into his legs, jumping at least 30 meters in the air.
He pulled his right arm back in a throwing stance as a orb of black and golden energy manifested in his palm which soon took the shape of a lance and with the sound of a cannon being fired, he threw it at the collapsed section.
Through the debris, she saw the bright light coming toward her, sensing the danger she was barely able to jump away from its trajectory but the moment it hit the ground, a massive explosion rocked the ground as the lance exploded into a torrent of black and golden energy.
Subaru walked to the smoldering crater and looked at the woman. Her left arm was gone and most of her left side was burnt.
He was about to finish her off but suddenly.
Blegh
He coughed up a torrent of blood as the energy around him disappeared and he fell backwards.
'S-shit, I wasted too much time!! I should have killed her after I threw her out!! Fuck, fuck, fuck!!!'
Subaru thought as he tried to move but no matter what he did, his body did not respond. the penalty had activated.
But even though he couldn't move, it didn't mean it was over as he heard something.
Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw the half dead woman, limping toward him, her crazed grin still plastered on her face as she stood over him.
"I fucked up."
