Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: “Timebreaker Showdown: Kael Awakens”

Within the Labyrinth's Core – Time Frozen

The Shadowborn moved like a whisper in reality.

One flick of its blade, and Zara, caught mid-strike, became a frozen statue of fire and rage — suspended in paused time.

The others followed:Rayna's lightning halted mid-arc.Selene's arrows hovered mid-air.Mira's twin blades gleamed motionless.Even Lyria's summoned beast was caught mid-roar.

Only Kael moved now — barely.

Blood trickled from his lips. The divine fragment above still called to him, glowing like a dying star.

The Shadowborn's voice was a whisper that echoed through every thread of time:

"You were supposed to stay dead, God-Flame.""You broke fate once. Never again."

Kael stood, swaying — his hands trembling.

"And yet… here I am."

Memory Burn – Kael's Awakening

As the Shadowborn's blade descended, the divine fragment pulsed.

Kael's mind was split open.

Memories he had sealed even from himself came rushing back.

He remembered:

— A war where he stood alone against a hundred gods.— A throne forged from dying stars.— A woman with silver eyes whispering, "Don't fall, Kael. The universe needs a villain."— And most of all…

The day he shattered divine law to save a dying child.

"I never wanted to be a god."

"But I'll become one again…"

Kael's body lit in crimson flame — divine, ancient, broken no longer.

Time slowed for the Shadowborn.

Too late.

Kael moved.

The Counterstrike

Kael's fist struck the Shadowborn's chest — not with force, but concept.

"I reject your time."

The blast was not physical. It shattered timelines.

The entire core of the labyrinth trembled as time itself rewound — unfreezing his companions one by one.

Zara gasped, her spear reigniting.

Rayna roared lightning to life. Mira grinned and blurred into battle mode.

"Let's finish what this thing started!" Mira yelled.

A Harem Unleashed

Each of the girls struck in harmony — their bond with Kael now anchored by divine resonance.

🌀 Zara: Her flames danced with his. Together, they created a burning phoenix that exploded into the Shadowborn's shadow core.

⚡ Rayna: Her lightning arced through Kael's divine fire, becoming divine stormpiercers.

🌌 Selene: Launched arrows that echoed through timelines — every shot hitting a past version of the enemy.

🐉 Lyria: Called a draconic beast made of fragmented memories, feeding it Kael's energy.

🩸 Althea: Cast a blood-seal that trapped the enemy in an hourglass of condensed time.

"End this, Kael!" they cried in unison.

Final Blow: God-Flame Returns

Kael ascended briefly—hair wild, eyes glowing like twin novas.

"My name… is Kael Elarion Veyr."

"The god who broke the sky."

He raised his palm, and the divine fragment shattered — its power surging into him.

With one final word:

"Burn."

A column of fire engulfed the Shadowborn — not just burning its body, but unraveling it from time itself.

When it vanished, it was as if it had never existed.

Aftermath – Fractured but Alive

The core collapsed, but Kael held up a hand.

The world around them warped — and then reset just before total collapse.

Everyone landed, breathing hard, stunned.

Zara stared at him, shaken. "That power…"

Selene: "You moved through time."

Kael: "I barely remember how I did it."

Rayna: "Then let's remember together. We've still got six more shards."

And in the shadows of the labyrinth…

A second Shadowborn watched silently.

"He's awakening faster than predicted."

"Inform the Celestial Council. Elarion lives."
