Boarding a cab to the meeting point for the Lab hunters, Dan thought*
"My first level 5 omega labyrinth hunt huh, I wonder how it's going to be, all this ranking system just keeps racking my head" Dan wondered partially frustrated.
Recalling*
"If I remember correctly, every ability has the same level rank system with each rank being subdivided into different numeric level and further divided into low, mid, high, and peak,..... for instance... "
"Mister we will be arriving at your location in 5mins" The cab driver said, interrupting Dan's train of thought
" Oh...ok" Dan replied, a bit flustered
Sigh*
.
.
Diving back to his thought*
"For instance, We have 7 power rank;
Omega Rank
Delta Rank
Gamma Rank
Beta Rank
Alpha Rank
Demigod Rank, and the last one, although only one man has been able to reach this state and he's long been dead,
The GodKing Rank"
Deep in his thought*
"The omega rank should be divided into 10-levels with me being a peak level 2 omega ranked fire user and dad being a peak level 9 omega ranked fire user, half step to the last level.
While the Delta Rank should have 8-levels, Gamma 6-levels, Beta 4-levels, Alpha having 2-levels and Demigod and Godking having just a single level"
"The same logic should also be applied in labyrinth ranking" Dan thought
"All this thinking is really making my head buzz" Dan said while scratching his head a little.
"We are here sir" the cab driver said while pulling over.
Getting down from the cab, Dan slowly walked to a group of people cladded in special amors.
"Sorry I'm late, I pro... "
"I promise I won't be late next time" Fay, a tall muscular guy with neatly black gelled hair mouthed.
"You keep saying same shit over and over again" Fay continued
"You know, if we didn't need your puny strength to carry our luggages I would have beaten you to a pulp right about no.. "
"That's enough fay, let's not waste anymore time" Andy, the leader of this mission interrupted.
"Tsk.. " Fay moving to the side with pure digust.
"Now, let me go over what I said during your absence here Dan" Andy said.
" This door right here isn't just a normal door, it's a gate as you may already know, to a level 5 omega labyrinth" Fay continued, pointing to the huge door behind him.
"This should be a relatively simple mission for us since it's only level 5 and I'm a bit above level 7, so this shouldn't cause us any problem, but we still have to stay at alert"
" Then who's going to take care of our little bagger" Fay interrupted, giving Dan a belittling stare
"Leave that to me" Andy said
"Any more questions????" Andy asked glancing in Fay's direction
Hmph*
Silence*
"Good. Since they aren't anymore questions, let's get accustomed to everyone's powers and levels before we head in"
"I'm Andy, a mid-level 7 Omega earth user" Andy said.
"Your very own Fay, peak level 5 omega wind user" Fay said with a smug look on his face.
"Ray, level 4 omega fire user" A fairly pale, tall red head boy said stepping forward
"Great, another touch light coming along" Fay daunted.
"I'm Lily, a peak level 4 omega healer" A blonde haired, short female said with a low and tender voice.
"And im Dan, a peak level 2 omega flame user" Dan said smiling.
"Smiling even at such weak power level... Tsk... A disgrace" Fay muttered.
"Ok then, since we've familiarized ourselves..." Looking at Dan
"Dan you'll have to help with our bags since,.... You know..... You're the weakest and the rest of us need to be at alert" Andy said trying not to sound rude.
"But don't worry, I'll protect you" Andy said with a genuine smile
"No problem" Dan said with a smile back
"Now please everyone hand me your bags" Dan said.
"No need, everyone's things are already packed in that bag over there" Andy said, pointing to a bag which looked like it weighed a ton lying on the ground.
Picking it up from the ground with ease and hanging it around his back, Dan said "Don't worry, I can handle this much, let's get going"
"Ok guyz, let's move" Andy said while opening the huge doors, revealing a blueish hue,
stepping into it, the rest of the gang followed behind.
And with that, they entered what would soon turn out to be a nightmare.
