The old man stood at the door with his cane and he walks towards Kiro,
Haru and the others present heads out.
"I'll be heading out" says Haru to Aoi and Hina.
Aoi looks at Haru with concern and asks "Won't you wait for him?"
He starts to walk out and replies "what will staying here with him do if I can't protect him"
"I have to get stronger!" Says Haru to himself as he leaves.
DOOR CLOSES
The old man comes and takes his seat —" Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Hiroshi and I am a member of the Heroes Council"
Kiro gets shocked by hearing this, since this man was a higher up and also the members of the councils were all retired S Class who were really well known for their prowess.
"Why will he come here to meet me of all people" thinks Kiro.
"Nice to meet you Sir." Replies Kiro as he sits on his bed and bows.
"Hahhaha" laughs Hiroshi,—-"And I thought respect has been lost along with humanity".
"This old man sure has his dark humour"
Thinks Kiro as the faces towards the wall.
Ahemm!!— " So I've heard that you encountered the Endless family." Asks Hiroshi.
Hiro holds his chin as he thinks about encountering anyone of that name.
"You mean my last mission?" Asks Kiro.
"Yes, and also.." —Hiroshi takes out a paper containing the list of victims—" they were responsible for the deaths of 10 heroes and 37 civilians"
Kiro takes the paper from his hand and checks. In an utter shock and anger, he tightens the paper as he hold.
"Care to tell me about them?" Asks Haru as he looks down with clenched fist.
Sigh!"They are the Endless family who works like an organisation——- and Hiroshi starts to frown and looks at Kiro—-
they were assumed to be defeated by the founding members but I'm afraid that's not the case."
Kiro is surprised to hear that and replies "If the founding members weren't able to annihilate means-
"That's what we're afraid of" replies Hiroshi as he stands.
He looks back and says " They were after you."
"Huh??Why me?" Asks Kiro as he tries to get up.
"We don't know for sure, but I've talked to your leader about your security" replies Hiroshi and he walks towards the door.—
He stops near the door and whispers
—"It will shine afterall" as he opens the door and leaves.
Kiro falls to the bed and sighs
"What was he even murmuring about" says Kiro as he stretches out his hand and looks at the back of his palm to block the light.
"Will I even be able to reach that light" wonders Kiro as he closes his fist.
"What are you even blabbering about." Says Daimyo who was sitting infront of his bed.
"Whaaa-whatt when did you get here"exclaims Kiro and quickly gets up to sit.
"What was that about reaching that log-"
"Ahhhhhh—" says Kiro interrupting him, along with his hands gesturing a no.
Daimyo sighs—
-"so how are you feeling?"
Kiro gives a firm nod and replies"I'm feeling better"
"Well that's good, given that the opponents you faced were pretty tough" says Daimyo and he asks
"So what did Hiroshi talked with you about"
Kiro recalls about the Endless and replies
"It seems that the endless were after me"
Daimyo is taken aback since he thought their motives were just kidnapping people.
He wondered to himself "All along I thought they were attacking heroes to eliminate us but it seems we had our assumptions wrong"
And he asks "Should I assign some members for your protection?"
Kiro thinks of Haru but recalls the event of their meeting against the Endless. He knows how much he had suffered to the point fo screaming.After careful consideration he replies —
"Hai! If that would not bother other members"
Daimyo smiles and gets up from his seat.
"Your security will soon be assigned to you"
Says Daimyo and he heads out.
Kiro lays down on his bed and wonders who will it be "I hope it's not Ayrus (in a teary eyed face) He's sure to be able to provide protection but he's scaryyyy" says Kiro as he thinks.
He looks outside the window to see the clear sky, "I wish the world would always be this pleasant but there are still many more people like the endless walking around." Says Kiro as he tightens his bedsheet with his fist.
With a determined face he says "I will get stronger".
SEVERAL DAYS LATER.
He gets to know from Hina that Haru has gone for training. Both he and Haru sets out to train determined to become stronger, Haru heads towards an Ice Glacier while Kiro
Kiro prepares to leave the Guild building and head to the Ancient Altar.
The car waits for him outside to take him there.
There stands a girl with blue hair holding a suitcase and she bows.
"Hello Kiro, I am Lyra" says the girl.
"Oh! Hello" says Kiro as he bows back.
She gets up and says " Our leader has assigned me to look after you"
"Ohh yeah, he was telling me he would assign someone" replies Kiro and they get inside the car.
"Nice to meet you Lyra." Says Kiro as he looks at her.
"Likewise Kiro, where are we heading to?" Asks Lyra as she closes the door.
"To the Ancient Altar" replies Kiro as he looks forward.
Kiro frowns his eyes with determination and thinks " This is the place where they told me to go" as he recalls back to when the mysterious figures appeared when he was unconscious.
Lyra smiles looking at his determined face.
HOURS LATER
They reach the mountain and gets out of the car. There stood a Tall gate and beside it was a rock with ancient inscriptions.
"I'm finally here" thinks Kiro as he takes his first step into the gate.
Both Kiro and Haru takes their first step
(They are in different scene while Haru enters into a glacier, Kiro enters the Ancient Altar mountain )
They both enter their respective places to train—
" THEY WILL PAY A HUNDREDFOLD"
Says both Kiro and Haru as they enter.
