Chapter 2138: The Memory that Bled Gold

The Temple of the Forgotten Sky wasn't supposed to exist.

And yet here they were—Yun Che, Caizhi, Jasmine, and the young girl who had remembered what the world forgot.

The air was thick with pressure.

Each step forward cracked a law of reality.

On every wall were names—names burned out of time.

Caizhi's.

Others.

Even Jie Yuan's.

And at the end of the hall... two sealed doors pulsed with alternating light: void-black and faint gold.

> "This temple isn't for the forgotten," Jasmine murmured. "It's for the unwritten."

> "So how are our names here?" Yun Che asked.

A new voice answered.

> "Because you were never meant to survive the timeline the Throne destroyed."

They spun around.

And there—draped in black and gold, veil billowing in divine wind—stood Qianye Ying'er.

No longer the Brahma Monarch Goddess. No longer a shadow of old titles.

Just power and fire… and knowledge.

> "You died," Yun Che said.

> "I did," she replied. "In one version of fate."

She stepped closer.

> "But I broke through. Found echoes. Followed your name across erased space. You think I would let the world take your memory from me?"

Caizhi stared at her.

Not with contempt—but surprise.

Qianye Ying'er looked at the girl beside them.

> "You're the Tether."

The child nodded.

Qianye knelt, touched her hand.

> "Your soul bleeds with name-bound resonance. That means the Throne will try to consume you next."

She stood.

> "We need to awaken the Temple fully."

The Sealed Doors

One was Yun Che's.

The other—Qianye Ying'er's.

Each bore fragments of their soul signatures, locked behind layers of forgotten laws.

> "We open them together," she said. "You and I."

Yun Che looked hesitant.

> "Why me?"

> "Because you carry something the Throne cannot overwrite."

She touched his chest—above his heart.

> "The last memory of the Primordial Name. The First Word. You didn't steal power, Yun Che… you inherited echoes of the original voice."

And when their palms struck the seal—black and gold light flared.

---

Vision: The Throne Watches

In the void between moments, the Throne shuddered.

It saw Yun Che.

And Qianye.

> "The golden one survived."

> "We underestimated the bond."

> "They seek the First Word."

And for the first time…

The Throne began to speak a name.

But the name fractured in its mouth.

> "Yun…Ch—"

It could not finish.

> He was becoming unerasable.

---

Back in the Temple

The doors burst open.

Inside: Two thrones. One shattered. One glowing gold.

And in the center—a sword of white flame and divine memory.

Qianye Ying'er stepped forward, touched the sword.

Her eyes flared.

> "This isn't just a temple."

> "It's where the last God of Names died."
