Chapter 3 - Temptation is a B*itch

The academy's halls were strangely silent tonight, only the soft hum of magic flickering in the walls as Elias wandered through the dimly lit corridors. His footsteps echoed in the long, empty hallways, but his mind was far from the quiet. Thoughts of the demon—Rael'Zhar—plagued his every moment.

The man, no, the demon, who towered over him with an unnerving presence, had occupied his dreams ever since their first encounter. The image of Rael'Zhar's smoldering eyes, his sculpted body—muscles carved by some twisted magic, a body that seemed to beg for touch—was enough to make Elias's pulse race. It was wrong, it was dangerous, and yet Elias couldn't shake the thought of what could happen if he were to give in.

The school had its rules. The world outside was watching. But who could fight something this strong?

Elias clenched his fists, trying to fight the pull of desire. He had to focus. He had to get through this. But as if summoned by his thoughts, Rael'Zhar appeared at the end of the hallway, his blonde hair catching the low light and making him look like an otherworldly being—a predator waiting to strike.

Rael'Zhar's gaze locked onto him from across the distance, a predatory smirk curving his lips.

"You really should stop wandering these halls alone at night, Elias," Rael'Zhar's voice was low, full of temptation. Every word sounded like it was meant to seduce, to draw him closer to the abyss that was his touch.

Elias didn't answer immediately. His heartbeat quickened, a pulse of warmth spreading through him at the thought of being so close to the demon. But he steeled himself, pulling his shoulders back. "I'm just trying to get back to my dorm."

Rael'Zhar took a step closer, the air around him growing charged, suffused with the raw magic of his presence. "I don't think that's all you're doing, Elias." He stepped closer, the heat from his body nearly overwhelming as he leaned in, his lips brushing just barely against Elias's ear. "I think you're trying to avoid me. But avoiding temptation only makes it worse, doesn't it?"

The air grew thick with the unspoken words hanging between them. The tension was undeniable, like the calm before a storm.

Elias turned, as if to leave, but Rael'Zhar was faster, his hand wrapping around Elias's wrist with an almost unnaturally strong grip. It was too much. The heat radiating from Rael'Zhar's touch, the faint scent of something heady and intoxicating, drew Elias in like a moth to a flame.

"You shouldn't resist it," Rael'Zhar whispered, his lips brushing against the side of Elias's neck, sending shivers down his spine. "You want it. I can feel it."

Elias could barely think—his breath came in short gasps, his body betraying him. Every inch of him screamed to pull away, to get control of the situation, but Rael'Zhar's presence was a storm he couldn't escape.

Rael'Zhar's lips traced the line of his neck, leaving a trail of warmth in his wake, each touch igniting fire beneath Elias's skin. He had been warned about demons—how dangerous they were, how they twisted and corrupted—but standing this close to Rael'Zhar, everything else seemed distant and unimportant.

His pulse raced, his mind swirling in a storm of conflicting emotions. A demon, an anomaly, someone who should be feared and avoided. And yet…

Rael'Zhar's free hand brushed against Elias's chest, the pads of his fingers moving in slow, deliberate strokes that made Elias's breath catch. The world outside their small bubble seemed to vanish, leaving only the two of them standing in the middle of the academy's empty hallway.

"You want this," Rael'Zhar growled softly, the words like an order. "Tell me you want it."

Elias's body trembled, the raw temptation too much to ignore. He closed his eyes, torn between the desire to push him away and the need to pull him closer. "I... I shouldn't."

Rael'Zhar chuckled darkly. "Shouldn't? We both know you want this. Want me." His lips hovered over Elias's, just out of reach.

Elias couldn't breathe, couldn't think, could only feel Rael'Zhar's proximity, his warmth. Then, in a sudden motion, Rael'Zhar closed the gap, capturing Elias's lips with his own in a kiss that was fierce, demanding, and all-consuming.

Rael'Zhar's kiss was unlike any Elias had ever experienced—hot, feverish, his lips tracing every inch of Elias's mouth, deepening the kiss with a hunger that left Elias gasping for air. His hands, still holding Elias's wrist, moved, pulling him closer, until their bodies were pressed together. Rael'Zhar's muscular chest against his, the demon's heat radiating through him, only made the fire burn hotter.

There was no escape now. Elias gave in. He kissed back, his hands reaching up to grip Rael'Zhar's shoulders, pulling him even closer, as if trying to melt into him.

Rael'Zhar growled into the kiss, his hands roaming down Elias's back, pulling their bodies tighter, the urgency and need undeniable. "We'll see how long you can deny me, Elias."
