The Compartment Wilhelm chose was going to matter more than some might realise. So many key events occurred in one of these compartments like Harry and Ron's first meeting with Hermione, Neville's search for Trevor and Draco's attempt of recruiting Harry. Each interaction would shape their future and how they would turn out to be.
Wilhelm was aware of the delicate fabric of time, even a ripple could tear it apart. As simple as sitting in the wrong compartment could delay a meeting, shift a bond or worse set a new path in motion. With that in mind Wilhelm started looking for an empty compartment.
'Seniors....Head boy and girl.....Cedric....Neville....Cho....Fred and George....Percy and a Prefect?....Draco....'Wilhelm walked through the train trying to find an empty compartment, every compartment he came across was either full of had someone important.
Leaving behind the compartments filled with laughter and excited chatter, Wilhelm continued his search. Soon he came across a compartment, inside was no one except for a boy who had his nose buried in a book. Wilhelm knocked on the door and slid it open he asked the boy,"Mind if I join you?"
The boy looked up, blinked and nodded,"Sure. Plenty of space."
Wilhelm nodded at his words and took a seat from in front of him, he introduced himself,"Wilhelm Grehman, You?"
"Terry Boot" replied Terry without looking up from his book.
Not even ten seconds later the compartment door slid open again. Two girls were standing on the doorway looking for seats. One had, long blonde hair and green eyes while the other had short dark brown hair with matching eyes.
The dark-haired looked at Wilhelm and frozen, she blinked and looked at the girl standing beside her then back at Wilhelm. She gasped and placed her hands in front of the blonde-haired girl's and dramatically whispered,"Don't look Daphne, it's your doppelganger."
Wilhelm raised an eyebrow at her words so did the girl named Daphne, she sighed and pushed her hands away while stepping inside. She said,"Everywhere else is full, mind if we sit here?"
Terry shook his head,"Go ahead."
Wilhelm simply shrugged,"Be my guest."
The dark haired girl cautiously stepped inside, still glancing at Wilhelm like he might stand up and shift his form into Daphne's.
Daphne sat beside Wilhelm and said,"Sorry about Tracey." Wilhelm shook his head and replied,"No need to apologise."
Tracey playfully took the seat next to Terry as she said,"I'm just saying, it's uncanny how similar both of you look, same hair, similar sharp eyes, similar facial structure, if you braided your hair and changed your eye colour It will be like looking in a mirror."
Daphne rolled her eyes at her friends antics."Stop it, you are embarrassing us both, Tracey."
Wilhelm turned his gaze towards the window, the corner of his lips twitching."If I ever need a disguise I know who to copy."
Terry laughed and looked up from his book for the first time,"I can tell this is going to be an interesting ride."
Suddenly the door slid open again and this a boy was standing on the doorway, his luggage behind him. He glanced over at the ground before saying,"Everywhere is else is packed."
Wilhelm's eyebrow and lips twitched. Tracey smiled and replied,"Come on in, Theodore. We've got plenty of room."
Theodore nodded and stepped inside shutting the door behind him, he gave Wilhelm a curious glance before taking the empty seat.
'Why did I even try to avoid people? All it did was left me with a group.' Wilhem thought to himself, his eyebrows and lips twitching.

As the train began to move and the atmosphere in the compartment began to shift, Tracey suggested,"Well, since we're stuck together for the next several hours, how about we introduce ourselves? properly this time."
Terry glanced up from his book and nodded."Fair enough. I am Terry Boot."
Theodore raised an eyebrow and asked "Boot? Like the co-founders of..."
"Ilvermorny." Wilhelm completed his words.
Terry nodded and replied,"I have seen them in the family tree although they are distant relatives."
Theodore nodded, satisfied with the answer he got.
Tracey then spoke up,"I'm Tracey Davis." she said cheerfully.
Daphne smiled at her friends enthusiasm." Daphne Greengrass. And no we are not related." She said looking at her friend.
"Theodore Nott."
"Wilhelm Grehman."
"Wow, men of few words, huh?" Tracey said looking at Wilhelm and Theodore in mock-offence.
Tracey leaned back in her seat with a huff, crossing her."Fine. If you're all going to be all mysterious and broody it's up to me and Daphne to carry the conversation."
Daphne smirked,"As usual."
Terry chuckled softly, finally setting his book aside he said,"It's not that we're antisocial it's just we're just.....conservation energy."
Theodore's lips twitched."Efficient communication."
"That's a fancy way of saying 'antisocial'."Tracey said, nudging Theodore slightly with her elbow.
Suddenly the door to the compartment slid open, an old women was standing at the doorway pushing a trolley full of snacks.
"Anything from the trolley, dears?"

As everyone bought something and the atmosphere started to grow lighter, it was soon filled with light conversation and snacks.
Wilhelm gazed out of the window as he thought to himself.'This peace won't last after four years, I need to progress significantly before this ends.'
Tracey and Daphne soon became engrossed in their conversation while Terry and Theodore started a game of Wizard chess, Wilhelm simply leaned against the window and observed their match it was not like he could do much anyway.
The red steam locomotive made its way through the countryside, leaving behind the green hills and grasslands with gazing sheep. The sky outside began to dim slightly.
Inside the compartment the chess match grew intense, Theodore smirked at Terry who looked at the board and frowned. Tracey let out a sigh as she said,"Don't you two ever blink? You're staring at the board like bunch of Owls."
She looked towards Wilhelm who was deep in thought,"Aren't you awfully quite for someone who looks like he's planning a hostile takeover."
Wilhelm chuckled and smoothly replied," Not at all, just thinking we should all change into our robes."
