The morning sunlight streamed into the white room, illuminating every corner.
The open window allowed the breeze from outside to enter, bringing with it a cool and peaceful air.
Inside the room were three — no, four people, with two of them sitting on chairs near a narrow bed, and another standing by the window, looking outside.
The two sitting were women.
One of them was a mature woman, with an elegant yet charming face.
She had fair skin, long black hair that reached her waist, and deep brown-black eyes.
She appeared to be around her forties.
Even though she was considered old, her face was still captivating, as if she were in her thirties.
Yes, she was Viona Nox.
And beside her, sitting on the other chair, was her daughter, Ciel Nox.
Ciel was a beautiful young woman, with soft, snow-white skin.
Her black hair was tied into a ponytail, and her black eyes held an unusual seriousness.
The last one was a middle-aged man standing by the window, gazing outside.
He had a tall figure, standing about 185cm, with slightly messy short black hair, and deep black eyes as dark as obsidian.
His face was firm but somewhat handsome, and his slightly tan skin gave him a masculine appearance.
Well... maybe he wasn't the last.
The last was a young man lying motionless on the narrow bed, his eyes closed.
Ciel, sitting beside the bed, was staring at the boy along with her mother.
She turned to look at her mother, held her hand, and smiled.
Her slightly cold face combined with her enchanting smile would captivate anyone who saw her.
"It's okay, Mom... he's probably just startled.
As the doctor said, his head has some minor issues, and..."
Her mother, hearing her voice, turned to the side, looking at Ciel and giving a bitter smile.
"Yes, I know... he must be fine, just a little shocked, a..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she felt a small movement from the bed.
Turning to look, she saw the young man's eyelids twitching, and soon, they opened.

Gill slowly opened his eyes.
The sunlight pouring into the room made him squint from the brightness.
After adjusting to the light, he could see everything clearly.
There, beside him, he saw a middle-aged woman staring at him with a worried expression, tightly holding his hand.
Next to her was a beautiful woman also gazing at him with concern.
'So, they are the mother and sister...'
After telling him where he was, Reven had explained about this world, his mother, sister, and father.
Afterward, they made a pact, a pact that supposedly benefited both sides.
Breaking his train of thought was a voice filled with worry.
"Son... are you alright?"
Seeing her, Gill silently stared at Reven's mother—or rather, his mother now.
Then came the sound of footsteps approaching.
A tall man—his father—came closer, looking down at him with a worried face.
Gill, faced with this situation, had of course already prepared something.
Before returning to reality, he had discussed this matter thoroughly with Reven.
How he should deal with Reven's family, their personalities, habits, daily routines—they had discussed everything.
Even about himself, now being Reven, they had discussed his likes, dislikes, hobbies, and usual behaviors in detail.
And so, they made a pact—though it still... felt questionable.
He was still uncertain about what Reven had promised, even if the pact was supposedly beneficial for both sides.
But was it really?
Why hadn't Reven destroyed his soul and reclaimed his body?
Was he unable to return?
If so, then what was the point of the pact?
Still, he had no other choice.
What could he do?
He was now in a realm entirely different from any world he had known.
The laws, reality, the way people thought, the principles, the rules—they were different, even if some were similar, there were major differences.
For example, spirituality—or magic—which had been mentioned during their discussion in the illusionary world.
In his old world, magic was common, used in daily life.
Even if humans or other races could not wield magic naturally, they could use external items—artifacts or other tools—to channel magic.
And in his world, even if someone could use magic or had a natural affinity for it, they wouldn't gain a title or special designation.
It was simply common.
Unless they transcended to what was called divinity.
Then, they would be named a Divine Knight, beings with divinity—followed by Divine King, Divine Emperor, and Angel.
But in this world, magic wasn't common, and it wasn't something known to the public.
Here, magic was a myth, or merely a fabricated legend.
It did exist—but it was rare, known to perhaps only a few.
Here, someone who could use magic—or who surpassed human limits—was called an Awakened.
It wasn't all that different from his old world's concept, except here they had titles for those who hadn't achieved divinity yet.
Not like his old world, where only those reaching divinity would receive titles.
Awakened—those who unlocked potential beyond normal humans—followed by Enhanced, and Celestial.
After that, they had the same titles as in his previous world: Divine Knight, Divine King, Divine Emperor, and Angel.
Why were they the same?
Had someone named them long ago in both worlds?
He didn't know.
Also, what was the difference between the Divine Realm and his realm?
His was called the Lower Heavens, or as they casually called it, the Under-Heaven, a realm under Heaven's rule.
What made the Divine Realm different?
What qualified it as Divine?
He didn't know and wasn't planning to find out—at least, not for now.
For him, this world was strange.
His previous world was quite normal with magic, making this world seem bizarre.
Could humans really live without magic?
Maybe they thought it was he who was strange.
Well... it didn't matter.
Just because magic wasn't common didn't mean it didn't exist.
Even if it didn't, he would find it—or create it himself!
Then there was another surprising thing about Reven himself.
He was actually someone incredibly strong!
The illusionary world he created made time flow differently than reality.
They had discussed many things for a long time, and Gill had felt it strange to spend so long talking while only being "asleep" from a supposed fainting spell—or what they called anesthesia.
But surprisingly, Reven explained that within the illusion he created, time flowed five times faster than in reality.
And so, even though they had spent a long time talking, in reality, perhaps only a few hours had passed.
It was shocking.
He had assumed Reven was weak, given the lack of any pressure from him.
But it turned out his strength was tremendous—perhaps even greater than Gill's?
Was Reven already at the level of divinity?
Gill didn't know, since he himself had never reached divinity.
Even though Gill was born into a powerful family—perhaps one of the strongest in his world—because his father was an Emperor, someone who had reached semi-Divine Emperor level, Gill had never inherited his father's talents.
Thus, he had little interest in pursuing strength and preferred a relaxed life.
Therefore, he had no idea what it was like to reach divinity.
He wasn't jealous of his siblings who inherited their father's talents, and since his family never treated him differently because of it, he was content.
Until now...
Now he desired strength—a power greater than his father's, even greater than Heaven itself.
Even if Heaven could be breached, what could he achieve with power only equal to his father's?
He wanted more—power surpassing even Heaven.
Heaven was ruled by Angels—beings that surpassed everything, beings so mighty that even his father couldn't imagine their true power.
But... were there beings beyond Angels?
If so, what were they?
Once again, he didn't want to dwell on that yet.
His goal now was to start from scratch, building his foundation strong and firm using the knowledge he once possessed.
He wanted to finish what they had left unfinished.
He wanted to find his family—and reunite with them.
And so, he had to live as Reven Nox now.
Gill had no other choice.
He didn't know if another option even existed.
He was just a soul now, without a body, merely a lost spirit.
Gill didn't know—if he had refused the offer, choosing to live as himself in this new, strange world—could he have survived?
Could he create a new body, one in harmony with this world?
Or would his soul slowly dissolve while wandering in a world that rejected him?
Since the laws of this world and his own differed greatly, it was possible that this world would reject his very existence.
And so, he must now be Reven Nox.
It had already begun—his father, his mother, his sister—they were staring at him, now Reven, with hopeful eyes.
Because earlier he had acted strangely—by not recognizing them—or rather, because he truly didn't recognize them, he now had to continue what he had started.
Honestly, Gill, who was now Reven, was a terrible actor.
"Who are you?"
