Chapter 6 - 6: Foundations of the Future

[Just wanted to say thanks for all the support so far, I hope everyone has been enjoying the story so far, I have a mission for everyone if you choose to accept, if we can get to 40 stones I will release a bonus chapter. I still plan to release a chapter a day going forward, but I will send out some targets every now and then and if we can reach them, a chapter will be coming your way]

He had observed humanity in two galaxies now.

The humans from his own had been powerful, ambitious—but also deeply flawed. Their potential had always been limited, bound by their own shortsightedness, petty desires, and endless conflicts. It was why the galaxy had stagnated, trapped in a cycle of rebellion and tyranny.

But here, on this unfamiliar Earth, humans had never known the Empire's grip nor the Jedi's teachings. They were naïve, chaotic—but unbound by the shackles of a corrupted Republic. Their destiny was still unwritten.

Here was a chance to guide humanity toward something greater.

He would uplift them.

Not to rule—but to reshape. To forge a civilization capable of facing any threat, internal or external, without falling to tyranny or self-destruction.

It was an ambitious vision. And ambition required a firm foundation.

Forging an Identity

To influence humanity, he would first need to blend into it.

He sat in the dim glow of his makeshift data terminal, fingers deftly moving across a keyboard he'd adapted to interface directly with Earth's primitive digital network.

Their government databases were laughably underprotected, compared to Imperial systems. Within hours, he had penetrated layers of bureaucratic security. He planted digital footprints and fabricated a complete personal history: birth records, education credentials, financial accounts. He even generated a driver's license and passport.

His chosen name: "Victor Aiden".

The name itself was unimportant—simply memorable enough to provide a veneer of humanity. Carefully, he shaped Victor's fictional past. Graduated with honors from institutions that would never recall him. A reclusive genius specializing in engineering and theoretical physics—fields that would conveniently mask the true nature of his knowledge.

Within days, Victor Aiden existed fully and legally, a digital ghost solidified into reality.

Building the Foundation

Now legitimized, he needed a stage from which to direct his influence.

He had seen Earth's technological state. Capable, yet limited. Dependent on fossil fuels, burdened by inefficiency and unnecessary complexity. The basics of advanced technology existed—but humanity lacked the vision and coordination to properly harness it.

He would show them.

Vader began methodically laying out a business model. A corporate entity was the perfect front. Through it, he could quietly integrate advanced Star Wars technology into everyday human life—first subtly, then inevitably.

He registered the company digitally within a week, calling it simply Aegis Dynamics.

On paper, Aegis Dynamics would appear as just another ambitious technology startup. Its stated purpose was innocuous: developing sustainable, advanced technology for the betterment of humanity. Its true goal, however, was far more profound.

Choosing His First Steps

He would begin quietly—nothing overtly threatening, nothing to attract undue suspicion.

His initial products would be simple quality-of-life improvements: efficient power storage units inspired by Imperial energy cells, easily adaptable to human electrical infrastructure. Compact, reliable air and water filtration devices modeled after systems used aboard starships—low-cost solutions that would rapidly find a market.

These items alone could drastically improve human lives, particularly in impoverished or disaster-stricken regions. They would also quietly introduce advanced scientific principles from his galaxy to humanity's collective understanding.

Once the initial groundwork was laid, Aegis Dynamics would gradually escalate the complexity of its offerings. Advanced prosthetic limbs, civilian-grade medical droids, and durable building materials far surpassing Earth's current capabilities.

Each product carefully selected to build trust and reliance, to show humanity the benefits of true, disciplined innovation.

The Greater Vision

Yet technology alone was insufficient.

For humanity to truly rise, they required understanding. Discipline. Purpose.

The Force—or the dimensional energy this world contained—existed here, powerful but untamed. Vader had already sensed that certain individuals on Earth possessed latent sensitivity to it, unaware of their potential.

In time, he would seek them out. Guide them. Train them, not as Sith or Jedi, but something entirely new: disciplined, balanced wielders of power who could shape humanity's destiny responsibly.

He envisioned academies, training centers hidden in plain sight—organizations that taught control, ethics, and strength, grounded in principles this world had never imagined. Humanity's greatest minds and strongest warriors, united not by tyranny, but by clarity of purpose.

This was not about creating soldiers. It was about creating protectors. Builders. Visionaries capable of facing threats like the Chitauri—and worse—without hesitation or fear.

Anticipating Resistance

He knew, of course, that not all would welcome these changes.

Governments would be suspicious. Militaries would seek to weaponize his technology. Organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D. and their newfound Avengers would watch him closely—maybe even oppose him.

He had already begun anticipating their reactions. His identity, Victor Aiden, would be careful, reclusive. Charismatic enough to inspire but distant enough to remain unthreatening. He would not overtly challenge Earth's existing powers. Instead, he would quietly surpass them, moving beyond their reach until opposition became impossible.

Aegis Dynamics would publicly disavow military applications of its technology while quietly fortifying itself. Defenses and countermeasures that no Earth-based force could easily overcome would be integrated into every aspect of its structure.

The Path Ahead

He leaned back from the console, breathing steadily.

His plan was ambitious, perhaps even audacious—but necessary. Humanity stood at a crossroads. Without guidance, they would inevitably spiral into self-destruction, just as his own galaxy had done countless times.

He refused to allow that again.

This was no longer about Vader, the Sith Lord. Nor Anakin Skywalker, the Jedi who fell.

This was about forging a legacy that transcended his past, using every lesson learned from pain and loss to build a future that no one else had dared imagine.

A future not dictated by fear or oppression, but by strength, discipline, and the true understanding of power.

He stood and turned slowly toward the makeshift window, staring out at the sunlit horizon.

Victor Aiden would soon step into the world openly, quietly, and irrevocably changing it.

And humanity—whether it knew it yet or not—stood on the brink of greatness.
