Chapter 1: My new beginning.
Itwas a Monday morning they were the moon just fading and daylight arose the whether was friendly, breeze made the trees dance.
I was lazy to get out of bed I managed to stand up and freshen up , since today was my first day at my new school .Am sorry for my manners my name is Mika I am the only child of my parents my favorite color is black love snacks than food I love chess and basketball including football.I recently moved to Eastbrook Griffinfield but before then I lived in Calgary I was a little sad about the changing of school and all but I had no choice.The reason we moved was because of my dad and mom job they recently got a promotion at the company they worked , they were moved to the Headquarters in Griffinfield.I was kind of used to changing of environments but it was different this time I had few friends for the first time in a very long time and I felt happy my mind and heart finally found a happy home only for this feeling to go down the drain , thinking of all these made sad I was lost in thought when I heard my someone call my name by that time I had taken my bath and I took out a black jean and a white crock top and a white sneakers,I hurriedly went down stairs I met my mom in the kitchen making toast while my dad was making orange juice I greeted both of them then I grabbed my plate they were both ready for work I ate breakfast on time I had my dad drop me off at school while my mom left for work.
Chapter 2: My First day.
Has my dad's car arrived at the school I felt a cool breeze flow into me which made me nervous , my dad wished me luck and gave me a transfer letter to give the principal as I entered the school I felt all eyes fall on me different voices whispering after what was a minute but feel like hours end I got to the principal office . Has I entered I saw a bunch of files on his desk, a jar bubble gum and a telephone I greeted him and he told me too sir I handed the transfer letter to him and he sent for his secretary too take me to my class I was told I will get a tour of the school lunch time and he handed me my schedule I said thank you and left with the aid of the secretary she introduced her self to me as Miss Jade . As I got to my class I saw eyes staring at me a girl came and introduced her self to me as Helen Shaw she was incharge of touring new students so practically she knew everyone, the secretary left and I got a sit next to Helen I introduced my self as Mika Makins , she asked for my number which I gave her and she added me to the class group a minute later our English teacher Mr Brown came in and he introduced him self to me so I did the same too but they difference was that I was told to come infront of the class when I did I saw a good looking guy staring at me and I look away he secretly stole glances at me but I pretend not to notice and I finished introducing my self I went back to my sit he was sitting on the right next to me while Helen was sitting at the left side he couldn't help but stare at me .
Soon time flew and we had completed three classes Helen took out on a tour round the school she showed me the Cafeteria , Baseball court,Foot ball field and other necessary things but I was interested in Football because I was the star player in my former school in which the team consisted of both boys and girls and Helen told me the team consisted of only boys and I ask if there were any rules that said girls cannot play but she said there wasn't that all the girls didn't seem to have interest in the game I asked who the Captain of the team was she told me it was the boy who stole glances at me I was suprised of her observation I asked her is name and she told me his name was kest Myron the son of the founder of the school I was told he had a lot of crushes but he didn't like girls and was intentional about relationship, I and Helen felt a instant connection we were vibing before the end of the day I leart she leaves beside my house and my parents and her parents where friends I took it as a mental note to ask them when I get home we chatted as we left th Cafeteria I told Helen I want to join the Football team and I was very skilled she thought I was joking and laughed about it till when I told her I was serious so I decided she takes me to the sports coach so I can talk to him as we were going she showed me a popular girl in our class Austin Michelle who was crazy about Myron and could do anything to get his attention but he didn't like her she was together with three other girl Nila,Clowey and jane who were her followers as I am Helen walked past her she looked at me with a hint of arrogance then she said "stay away from him " I and Helen Completely ignored her and we walked away as if we heard nothing Helen told me not to bother about her and we continued talking
Chapter 3: You want to join the team
We got to the sports director incharge of football , he was suprised when I told him I want to join the team, he asked if I had any experience and I said I was the captain of football in my former school he said girls cant join the team and I asked him if a law stated that he replied no , so I agreed to meet him at closing time with the team to test me out.
We hurriedly left for our next class Jade asked me if I could really play, I told her she should come watch the practice after school .
After all classes I headed to the sports center and I met the coach I went to a changing room and I wore my sports wear, I went back and met the rest of the team I was suprised to see the boy I thought of as annoying in the football team I saw his clothes which captain was written at the back a boy walked up to me and he asked who I was waiting for since I was a new student I told him I was joining the team and he laughed he thought I was joking but in my mind I was just imagining how I will kick his butt cuz am good in martial arts I was waiting for him to say something annoying so I can kick his butt as he was about to talk when the coach announced to I was joining the team he introduced everyone to me they were all looking at me as if I had something in my teeth.
Myron was the captain, Jackson, Jason,Max, Henry, Lucas, Liam, Wilson, Blossom, and three others they were all laughing I looked at them with a serious face so they new I wasn't bluffing.
I started practice with the weakest football players and I won them I had good dribbling skills then I played one on one with Myron our skills were similar but mine were better than his so I won him by scoring a goal with a" bicycle skills " and the whole team cheered for me I was feeling special but I didn't show it I was given team jersey and the training was over I heard we have a up coming match we had to practice very well, the match was interschool with tempting winning prizes.
I left and headed to the school bus after I changed to my clothes, I entered the school bus to my surprise I saw Myron and he say beside me he said hii and I replied him with his he said You were really good on the field and I replied him with the word" I know " he asked for my number and told me the coach asked him to add me to the group I gave him my number and when the bus got to my house I dropped off and saw him coming down from the bus I asked him Are you stalking me and he pointed to the house beside my house I was really surprised meanwhile the bus had left already I finally shaked out of my shock
Chapter 4: Test week, new friend.
Myron said bye to me and I went into the my house, my mom and dad weren't back so I went upstairs I took a quick shower and I wore my PJs even though it was not on the I went down stairs I grabbed some popcorn and two granola bars from the fridge and two Snickers chocolate.I went upstairs , I took out my books I did my assignment and I read all the notes we were given for the day for the fact that I wanted to maintain my best student grades when I finished I rested for a while and I received a call from Helen she called me to give her the gist I narrated everything to her and she was teasing me she said Myron likes me I asked about his character she said he was calm and nice he has never had any girlfriend he came from a rich home like me his both parents were doctors at Grinfield university we talked for two hours and we both said good bye to each other and shortly after I received a message on Whatsapp from Myron saying hi and he also added me to the group chat I received many praises from the members especially Liam and Myron. Liam was the boy who I was thinking of how to beat .
I replied him with hello after he received the message I was still online then he called me through video call I was nervous will I say I have a crush on him I summoned the courage to pick the call and he asked how my day was I told it's was great I asked about his too and I got a positive reply and he told me their was a test coming up on Thursday luckily for me Helen sent me notes which I had written and I thanked him he was smiling at me and I couldn't help but form a invincible smile at the corner of my mouth and I asked him what was wrong he said I am beautiful and I told him thank you he told me he wants to tell me something but he doesn't think it's the right time since we barely knew each other and I persuaded him to tell me he said "Mika I really like you as in like like since when I saw you during the first class I couldn't get my eyes of you and I knew if I didn't pure my heart you can be taken from me by another person " he was waiting for my reaction and I was blushing deep in my heart but I couldn't just say yes so I told him Myron in as much am knew I like you too we just met so maybe after the test I would give him my reply he was overjoyed we talked for a long I went both had to go cuz our parents were back I heard my mom car drive into the compound while my dad car followed her closely by the time I got down stairs mom and dad were already in the kitchen they bought groceries on their way I greeted them as I helped them unpack the groceries I told them about my day in school but I skipped the part about Myron and Michelle but I also told them about joining the football team and they were happy for me . My mom told me tomorrow evening we will have visitors and I should come back from school on time I nodded, I was happy she boughty Snickers chocolate, Chips, granola bars, candy, biscuits and popcorn because I eat it when reading

I assisted my mom something , then I kissed my parents good night. When I got to my room I saw my phone beep and it was a message from Helen and Myron he said
Myron:Hi
Mika : Hello
Myron:Am sorry about what happened
Mika: What exactly?
Myron: What I said
Mika: What did you say (She new what he was talking about but she was only playing dumb)
Myron: You know what am talking about I mean when I told you I like you
Mika:Am not pissed, I think you are cool too
Myron: So do you like me
Mika: Maybe, maybe not
Myron: Please tell me
Mika: Okay , I like you as a person
Myron: Can we be friends and take things slow.
Mika: Sure
Myron: Friends
Mika: Friend
Myron: When did you start playing football
Mika: When I was a kid
Myron: I too
Mika : There was this boy that was my friend we used to play together till when I moved away to another city.
Myron: I used to play with a girl too , I remember I used to call her "Ika"
Mika:I also used to call him "Mine"
Myron: Do you think we were the two friends back then ?
Mika: I think so, do you have a picture
Myron: Yeah

CHAPTER 4 : She is Smart?
She is skilled.
