After having my beautiful dream wrecked I shook my head as I looked around the plains as I noticed many 10 years soul creatures though I couldn't help but wonder why they were called soul creatures instead of soul beasts.

I start blanket before summoning my frozen Storm sword. And practice a few test swings as I looked over I saw akame looking at one of the serpents like prey so I decided to speak up.

I couldn't help but feel a little bit hurt from my system's judgment of me but I couldn't even argue I was a normal person in my old life. So my physical aptitude was probably equal to that of some geniuses from Soul land who just got their martial soul. But akame would we considered a true genius if she was popped into that world or better known as a 'monster' talent.
I quickly shook my head as me and akame began walking towards an area on the edge of the planes which looks like a swamp style area as we entered I decided to see if I could get information about this area from the system.

[This area is known as the beginner swamp it has Soul creatures of the poison water and Earth attributes. Each area will have a boss which when compared to the rest of the areas of the Tower layer are considered mini bosses. In each area boss has a cultivation age of 700 years. If you wish to battle the area boss you must defeat all other Soul creatures within the area for it to be come out for a battle. Once you clear out all the supplement areas of their bosses the final boss of the layer will appear.]
Upon reading this message I began rubbing my chin before speaking to the system.
"Can you tell me how does the different layers of the Tower change its difficulty level?"
After a few seconds I finally got a reply from the system as I absent manually kill a 10-year soul creature.
[Currently at the moment the highest level of cultivation of the first layer is 1,500 years of cultivation as a default at the start so as you conquer different worlds the cultivation of the creatures inside will change accordingly and the changes will depend on how dangerous the world you conquer is. Example if you conquer world with a threat level of 0.5 the increase in cultivation age of the soul creatures within the tower we'll have very minor changes. In comparison to worlds with much higher threat rating.]
I purse my lips as I thought this over and as I think about it this does also seem to work perfectly well for those who made this war who probably have hundreds of times to perfect the system to push people to conquer other worlds and to take out other competitors. After all humans were naturally violent and greedy creatures. But now this begs the question how do I increase my population because I doubt those entities want me to Father an entire planet worth of people.
[Once you conquer a planet you can pick one of two choices one assimilate the planet and leave the denizens out in the dust otherwise known as the void and let them slowly disperse and die out as a abyssal creatures devour them. The other option is to assimilate the world and take all the denizens as your civilians.]
Well at least that's a good thing. After all I don't think I could handle that kind of responsibility. I pulled myself from that lane of thought and focus on the situation around me which I soon realize akami had done just butchered everything then I got a notification.

I stared blankly for a moment or two before looking up to see Akame surrounded by dead bodies. I open my mouth for a second before closing it as I remember that she was an assassin a train killer so this place was basically her bread and butter.
"Akame kill everything in this area and when the strongest appears you can absorb it for your first soul ring."
I decided to give the order purely because I don't think I am of much help to her. Sing her not and run off to start massacring everything with a pulse I turn my attention to the system.
"Can I move the Awakening array outside of the cabin?"
I thought this question purely because well the cabin is where I'll sleep and I don't want everyone who wants to awaken their martial soul to walk into my house while I'm sleeping. That would make it very problematic and uncomfortable for me. I start to look around and sat down on a rock above the water and began meditating after all since I have spare time might as well cultivate. But then I got the notification from the system.

I sharply inhaled because that's quite literally all the points I could possibly get from this Tower. To prevent my blood pressure from skyrocketing I shut off my mind and begin cultivating with every fibromy being. it was a few hours before a notification from the system woke me up for my cultivation.

Once it reaches past 1,000 years for each additional thousand years up till it is 10,000 years it's horn would turn to a silvery color until exactly 10,000 years it will have a silver horn and if it strengthens its dragon bloodline it will grow an additional form.
Finally at 10,000 years once it starts cultivating towards path of 100,000 years it's horn will turn golden and by this time if it has awakened it's bloodline it will have three horns upon its head. Don't keep in mind host is unclear which dragon is the ancestor of this python so it's difficult to determine what type of Soul skills it will provide besides its base attribute of poison.]
I blink I mean it was nice getting the information about how the tell the age of the sobeast and how far along it was but honestly I'm quite surprised that even showed me the results up to 100,000 but regardless this will prove useful as information to store for future generations. But currently most of this knowledge is useless because the system has already stated the area boss at least for the current moment is 700 years old. But since it's already referred to as a copper horned python I assumed this particular specimen had encountered a opportunity to awaken its dragon bloodline slightly enough to make it already possess the copper horn.
I shrug because in the end it doesn't matter after all this fellow will be akame first soul ring and that was that. So I open my eyes to see a comment already in a fierce battle with the python I quickly stood and possessing my Frost thunder demon martial soul and as well summoning my Frost Storm sword. I charge forward and I noticed akame Hadley back to dodge a quick job from the python I slammed my sword into the water to let it conduct electricity that is passively arcing off of my blade. After all why fight a grueling battle with blood sweat and tears when you could just use your brain to lessen the amount of effort you need to use. And it seems akame got the idea as she quickly jumped from each small patch of land to quickly get close to the python swinging her murasama and beheading the fucker.
I pulled my blade out of the water as I watched the electricity in the water disperse after a period of time I walk on to dry land and watch her sit on its rather large body sitting cross-legged to start absorbing the soul ring. I sat down on the land I was sitting on to look out to make sure no Soul creature came attacking. Though I highly doubt any other areas creatures could flood into here but I don't feel like taking a chance.
After all I only have her as my subordinate and I don't think I could take over any form of conquests on my own especially if I end up having to make a kill or do not kill decision she's already a train killer with quite the large body count on her hands even though this would be considered quite cowardly of me I just don't feel comfortable with taking a life doesn't mean I won't let others do it for me even though that would make me a hypocrite it's just I personally do not want to steam my hands if I can avoid it. But I know eventually I will have to after all it'll be unavoidable especially if those Eldritch horrors suddenly decide to throw all those competitors into a one-on-one death match for any unconceivable reason besides maybe they're bored.
I suddenly got really curious on how many areas there were in the tower first floor.
