Arkaeda was forced to choose between saving his mother, who was still critically ill in the hospital, and finding a way to incapacitate Captain Rojan and all his followers.
After the banquet ended, Arkaeda met again with Art to discuss the continuation of his mission.
"Your status has now changed to General of the Royal Palace. Use this moment. Now tell me everything you know about Rojan," said Art.
"I don't know yet, Art. I can't give you in-depth information about Rojan because I only just met him at the banquet," Arkaeda replied skeptically.
"Alright, I'll call Mr. Andrew to ask about the next step," said Art, taking his phone and calling Mr. Andrew.
"Hand the phone to Arkaeda. I will tell him the next move," said Mr. Andrew through the phone.
Art immediately handed his phone to Arkaeda.
"Yes, Sir. What should I do?" asked Arkaeda.
"While you are staying at the royal palace, always be careful and watch Rojan's movements. I will provide a serum to incapacitate him. I will send it during the dinner banquet. You must mix it into Captain Rojan's drink. The serum will totally paralyze him.
Once you succeed, immediately contact us, and we will come to attack them!" Mr. Andrew said firmly.
"Understood, Sir. Also, I would like to know about my mother. Has she been treated?" Arkaeda asked.
"We have visited your mother at the hospital. She will recover in a few days. Don't worry, we will handle it!" Mr. Andrew explained.
"Alright, Sir. Thank you for your help. I will immediately continue the mission!" said Arkaeda enthusiastically.
"Remember, move carefully. Do not let them find out. The serum will arrive shortly!" said Mr. Andrew before hanging up.
Meanwhile, Art advised Arkaeda to find out where the source of their magic power lay. However, unbeknownst to them, one of the kingdom's members had overheard their conversation.
He quickly turned around and reported everything to Captain Rojan.
Rojan was furious with Arkaeda for daring to betray him. He immediately summoned Polo, Delvi, and the entire royal army to punish Arkaeda and dismiss him as General before he could carry out his plan to paralyze Rojan.
"Prepare the entire Underground Guard who oversee the torture chambers. If Arkaeda returns to the royal palace, I want him thrown into the crocodile pit!" Rojan commanded angrily.
Arkaeda then returned to the palace, pretending as if nothing had happened.
"Where have you been until late at night?" asked Rojan.
"You know, General, you've just been appointed General of this palace, and I haven't even assigned you any tasks yet!" Rojan said with an intimidating gaze, making Arkaeda suspicious.
"Oh, sorry Captain, I was visiting my mother at the hospital. I even traveled to Venice by cruise ship, so I arrived late at the palace," Arkaeda explained.
"Alright, General, I hope there is no betrayal between us. I have prepared a gift for you," said Captain Rojan, startling and making Arkaeda anxious.
"Guards, drag him into the crocodile pit for daring to betray the kingdom. A General like him deserves to be punished!" shouted Rojan to the guards.
They immediately dragged Arkaeda toward the crocodile pit.
"I'm sorry, Captain! I didn't mean to harm you. It was all on the orders of Mr. Andrew and Art, who are undercover agents spying on you in the royal palace!" Arkaeda confessed, forced to reveal Art's mission.
"Remember, Arkaeda, this is a fatal mistake you've made. I regret ever appointing you as a General. Tomorrow, I will gather all the people of this land to witness your punishment for betrayal!" declared Captain Rojan.
Just as Arkaeda was about to be thrown into the pit full of ravenous crocodiles, the guards placed him instead into an isolation chamber, under orders from Captain Arial.
"Tomorrow you will find out. And thank you for revealing my greatest enemy, Art. But the punishment must still proceed," said Rojan firmly.
Then Rojan met with Polo and Delvi to hold a meeting in the central hall.
All royal members and soldiers attended the meeting.
Delvi and Polo were also furious over Arkaeda's actions.
They planned to gather the people.
The next day arrived. Arkaeda was pulled out of the isolation chamber and dragged to the courtyard, in front of the entire population of Arial Kingdom.
A large bonfire was lit, and Arkaeda was hung above the fire, ready to be burned alive.
"Art, help me! Art, help me!" cried Arkaeda. But the fire slowly spread, burning him alive, while everyone watched the horrific execution.
"This is the punishment for a General who dared to betray!" shouted Rojan to the crowd, causing fear among everyone, making them too afraid to commit any mistakes.
Meanwhile, Art sensed that something was wrong at the palace. Sure enough, a Guardian Angel emerged from his ring and warned him that soldiers were coming to capture him.
"Art, you must be careful! I see many troops approaching to capture you!" said the Angel.
"Has something happened in the palace?" Art asked.
"Their General was just punished. They have discovered your identity. This time Rojan is extremely furious. I sense his magical power has increased tenfold."
"Then what should I do?" Art asked, panic-stricken.
But before the Angel could answer, it suddenly vanished, as if pulled away by an unseen force.
"Angel! Angel, what's happening?" Art shouted, looking around frantically.
However, it was too late — the soldiers had already surrounded him. They drugged him and locked him inside a steel coffin, then transported it by horse carriage to the royal palace.
Once there, Art was brought before Captain Rojan. To Art's shock, Rojan had imprisoned the Angel inside a glass aquarium sealed with multiple spells.
"Release him! I will never forgive you, Rojan!" shouted Art, seeing the Angel trapped and unable to escape.
"I finally know everything! I couldn't kill you before because the Angel was protecting you. But now, you no longer have him. Soon, I will send that Angel to Hell!" Rojan sneered.
"You'll be the one going to Hell for all your evil deeds!" Art snapped back.
Suddenly, Art's phone rang — it was Mr. Andrew calling.
Rojan ordered a guard to take Art's phone and answer the call.
"Art, why can't I reach Arkaeda? Where is he? Some of our agents have already arrived at the border to deliver the serum!" said Mr. Andrew.
