"No! No! No! No! That's impossible!"
"What part of it is impossible?"
"There's no way you're Ouroboros."
"Shouldn't you be honored if I really am Ouroboros? Not many girls get to lose their virginity to a Virtuous Paragon. You might just be the luckiest girl of the century."
"No way! Ouroboros has silver hair, not black. And there's no way a Virtuous Paragon would be interested in a high school girl like me. He'd obviously go for someone noble like Elena."
"You're underestimating yourself too much."
"That's why you must just be his servant."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"You're probably just Ouroboros's servant, assigned to create content for him. Yeah, that's gotta be it. You're just one of his underlings."
Finn went silent at Aria's wild theory. "Yeah, sure, let's go with that. But don't tell anyone, alright? Or I'll spill your secret about how Arnold completely rejected you."
"Fine, deal. Now let's eat. I'm starving."
"Alright."
Before eating, Aria made a circle with her fingers and said, "Lord Ouroboros, thank you for this meal."
Then they started eating.
Aria's eyes widened the moment the food touched her tongue. "As expected from a servant of Ouroboros, your cooking is amazing."
She devoured it with enthusiasm.
Fifteen minutes later, they finished their meal.
Finn went to shower first.
While he was in the bathroom, Aria copied some video from Finn's laptop.
When Finn was done and Aria was about to shower—
"Carry me to the bathroom. I still can't walk."
"You're such a pain in the ass."
"This is all your fault!"
"Don't forget, you asked for sex."
"I didn't ask for six hours of it!"
"But you enjoyed it, didn't you?" he grinned.
Aria blushed and couldn't deny it. "...Yeah."
Finn carried her to the bathroom. When she finished, he carried her back out. She dressed herself, but when they were leaving the hotel, he had to carry her again—while all the other guests stared.
"You're seriously such a hassle."
Finn was mortified by all the attention.
"Shut up! This is all your fault!"
At the lobby, they went to pay the bill. Even though it was Aria who wanted to stay at the five-star hotel, they split the cost evenly.
Finn casually pulled out his money.
Aria, however, turned pale at the price.
"Finn…"
"What?"
Aria flipped her blue hair and posed with her hand under her cheek, trying to act cute—but Finn only frowned.
"Don't tell me you don't have any money?!"
Aria winked cutely.
"You really are such a damn hassle."
"I didn't think five-star hotels would be this expensive…"
she looked like she was about to cry.
"Fine, I'll cover it. But this is a loan."
"Okay…"
After that, Finn said goodbye—
"See you later."
"Wait," Aria grabbed his arm.
"What now?"
"Take me to the hospital."
"No way! Go home and ask your parents!"
"I live alone! My parents are out of town! And I don't have money! So since this is your fault, take responsibility and pay for my treatment!"
"Ugh!"
Finn was forced to take her to the hospital by taxi. Aria sat inside, constantly groaning from the pain between her legs.
"We're definitely going to be late for school."
"I'm not going today. You should skip too."
"Why should I skip for you?"
"Because you need to take care of me at your house."
"No way. I'll just rent you a hospital room."
"No! Hospital food sucks!" she clung to him like a spoiled child.
"I'm not taking care of you! We're not that close!"
"You stole my first kiss yesterday, remember?" she glared at him.
"Don't say 'stole'—makes me sound like a creep! You gave me permission! And that was my first kiss too! So we're even."
"I just got caught up in the moment. Anyway, you're taking care of me!"
"You're seriously so annoying. No wonder Arnold picked Elena over you!"
"Don't say something so mean!" she started hitting him with her little fists.
"Tomorrow, us first-years are finally getting sent to hunt monsters. Today's the prep day. Are you sure about skipping?"
Finn was already strong enough that he didn't need the school's preparations. But that didn't apply to Aria.
"I know. But in this condition, there's nothing I can do."
They finally arrived at the hospital. Finn carried Aria inside. When the female doctor examined her, she was shocked.
"Did you just get gang-raped by ten guys?" she asked.
"No, I didn't. That bastard fucked me for six hours."
"Don't call me a bastard."
"Six hours?!" The doctor blushed, imagining it. "I didn't know men could last that long. You've got one amazing boyfriend."
"No, we're just sex friends," Aria said.
"I see," the doctor nodded. "Well, even though this is quite severe, it won't leave permanent trauma. We have lots of treatment options."
"Give her something that works instantly."
"Sorry, no miracle cure like that. The best we've got takes about half a day to heal."
"Alright, I'll buy it."
After paying, Finn took Aria back to his house.
Aria's eyes widened when she saw it.
It wasn't in the city, but in the middle of a forest. The house looked simple, built from wood, but the scenery was breathtaking: a lake in front, and fields of flowers and fruit all around, and behind is a mountain.
"It looks so cozy here."
"Yeah, it's peaceful and quiet."
"I'm going to build a house here too someday."
"Impossible. This forest is my private property."
"You've got to be kidding."
Finn carried her inside and laid her on the bed.
"This isn't how I imagined it at all," he sighed. "I thought bringing a girl to my house would make me feel excited or awkward. But it's just… normal. Honestly, I'm kind of annoyed. I was hoping to spend some sweet, romantic time together."
"Sorry for ruining your fantasy," Aria said with a vein popping on her forehead. "But if you brought your girlfriend, maybe you'd get what you were hoping for."
"Maybe. Too bad I don't have one."
"Then get one."
"I've tried, but I can't find anyone who fits my type."
"Then just lower your standards."
"I can't do that," Finn said with a sad, lonely look.
This idiot finally realized that understanding love doesn't come from playing romance games—it comes from finding a real partner.
The problem is, he's from Earth, and he still holds onto Earth's values.
In this world, sex and culture are tightly intertwined. Casual sex is the norm. Worse, even sleeping with someone else while married isn't considered cheating here. It's all normal.
But to Finn, sex with anyone other than your partner is cheating. That's why he wants a woman who'll only be with him.
Finding someone like that in this world is nearly impossible.
He's tried to adapt to the culture here, but failed. Just imagining his girlfriend sleeping with another guy fills him with so much rage he could kill.
He feels isolated and alone in this world.
"Someday, you'll find a girl who's right for you."
Aria patted his hand, trying to comfort him.
"Yeah… I really hope so."
He wished more than anything that somewhere in this bizarre world, a woman like that existed. Or maybe, woman from Earth had reincarnated into this world.
Ariel lay weakly on the bed after taking her medicine.
Bored, she unlocked her phone and watched the latest video from Ouroboros. The content? Ouroboros was roasting an entire pig until its skin turned golden and crispy.
Ariel's stomach growled instantly.
"Finn!" she yelled out.
From the next room came a lazy voice. "What now?"
"Come here!"
"No. I'm eating!"
"Come here or I'll scream! AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"Shut up!!!" Finn shouted back, a vein popping on his forehead. Annoyed, he yanked off his silver wig and stepped out of his room.
"What?!" he snapped, eyes narrowed.
"I'm hungry," Ariel whined, pointing at her phone screen. "Look at this… a roast pig by Ouroboros. You're his servant, right? You should be able to make this too, right?"
"No, I can't make that."
"Don't lie! I know you can!"
"It's expensive. I'd rather eat it myself if I had one."
"If you won't make it, I'll… cry."
Ariel fluttered her eyes, ready to cry like a child.
"Seriously, how old are you again?!"
Finn turned around to leave—but less than a minute later, he came back… carrying a whole roasted pig, still steaming and fragrant.
Ariel stared, wide-eyed.
"Eh? Seriously? How did you cook it that fast?"
"Don't ask questions. It's a secret."
Finn began slicing the meat skillfully, placed a portion on a plate, and handed it to Ariel. But she looked up and didn't touch it.
"What now?" Finn sighed. "One plate's not enough?"
Ariel gave him a sweet smile. "Feed me."
Finn frowned. "Eat it yourself."
"I'm weak… maybe it's the side effect of the medicine." Her voice turned incredibly sweet, like a kitten.
"Oh my god… you're so troublesome."
"You love me, right?" she teased with a flirtatious wink.
"Don't be delusional. I'm not your boyfriend."
"Still, feed me." Ariel opened her mouth. "Aaaa~"
With a grumpy face, Finn shoved a big chunk straight into her mouth—too big. Ariel gagged, unable to chew, and spat it out into a tissue.
"PUAHAHAHAHA!" Finn burst into laughter.
Ariel glared at him. "Treat me gently, you sadist!"
"Okay, okay, sorry. Here's the sweet version." Finn fed her a smaller, much gentler bite this time.
Ariel smiled contentedly. The meat was juicy and fragrant, with the spices soaked in perfectly. She chewed slowly, savoring every second.
"If you're really weak, maybe I should help you chew too?" Finn teased.
"Hey, I'm not that weak, okay?"
They ate quietly together. As the atmosphere settled, Ariel glanced around. The house felt strangely silent.
"Where's your family? Are you living alone like me?"
Finn paused for a moment.
"I do live alone. And I don't have a family."
Ariel fell silent. "Seriously…? I'm sorry."
"Don't give me that pity look."
"So where were you raised?"
"An orphanage."
"I see…"
Night had fallen.
Ariel squirmed in bed, struggling to close her eyes.
Tomorrow was an important day at school, but ironically—she just couldn't sleep.
The house she was staying in was far from the city, hidden deep within the forest. No sounds of cars, neighbors, or human life.
All she could hear were the chirping of crickets, the rustling of leaves, and the distant howling of wolves. A mysterious, eerie silence blanketed the room.
Ariel pulled the blanket over her head, her body shivering—not from cold, but from fear. She was new to this house, still unfamiliar with its unsettling atmosphere.
"…Finn…"
She whispered, voice trembling.
"Come here… stay with me… I can't sleep…"
She tried to call out, but her voice was so soft—as if she were afraid of attracting the attention of some unseen presence.
Suddenly, she felt something touch her foot.
"Kyaaaahhh!!!"
Ariel screamed in panic.
Her heart pounded wildly, and tears welled up in her eyes.
The light turned on.
"What's wrong with you?" Finn's voice was calm.
Turned out, it was Finn who had touched her foot.
"Don't scare me like that! I nearly peed myself!"
"I'm honestly confused, what are you even afraid of?"
"Your house… it's freaking creepy! Why would you build a house in the middle of the forest like this?! Planning to live with monkeys?!"
"Hey, don't insult my dream house. This is the most peaceful place in the world."
"Whatever! Just stay with me. I don't want to be alone."
"Scaredy-cat," Finn muttered, but he eventually turned off the light and climbed into bed.
Ariel immediately hugged him tightly, resting her head on his chest. Finn's heartbeat was calm, steady… and incredibly comforting.
Finn wrapped his arms around her in return, gently stroking her hair. His large hand was warm against her head.
In that moment, her fear slowly melted away, replaced by a quiet warmth she couldn't explain.
"…Thank you…" Ariel whispered.
"For what?"
"Because… even though we're just… sex friends… you still treat me so kindly. You take care of me, cook for me, even feed me… Things my own parents never did."
Her voice was soft, tinged with pain. Ariel remembered the loneliness that had always followed her. Her house was always cold, empty, filled with the sounds of work but never love.
She often envied her friends—those who were hugged and spoiled by their parents.
That's why she had fallen for Arnold—he was the only one who ever showed up when she felt truly alone. But in the end, Arnold chose another girl.
Ariel was left behind, in tears and broken-hearted.
"He rejected me yesterday. It was the worst moment of my life. But somehow, right after that… I got the best moment of my life. I met you, we became sex friends, and spent the night together – it was so fun."
Ariel looked up at Finn—her eyes unknowingly shining with sincere affection. Unable to hold back the feelings rushing through her, she kissed his lips.
Finn was taken aback. But he didn't pull away.
Ariel quickly pulled back, her cheeks burning like tomatoes. "Don't get the wrong idea! That… that was just a thank-you kiss! Not because I'm in love or anything!"
Finn looked at her in silence, then gave a faint smile.
"Yeah, I get it. But… I'm glad I met you too."
Without hesitation, Finn responded—pulling Ariel closer and kissing her again. But this time, it was deeper.
Their lips met, warm and soft and full of everything left unsaid. Finn's hand wrapped around Ariel's waist, drawing her in, while Ariel gripped the hem of his shirt with trembling fingers.
Their kiss continued—long, intense, and full of emotion. When they finally broke apart, their breathing was heavy, their cheeks flushed, and their eyes locked without saying a word.
That night, Ariel's fear had turned into something far warmer—something that would stay in her heart for a long, long time.
