Chapter 8 - ACADEMY RULES

While the official was brooding, they got to the front of a clear field where the beast landed, which surprised the students since there was no sign of a school anywhere, but what they saw next made them realise how strong the academy was. The official took out a token and infused it with energy, which made a glowing portal appear there. The scene shocked all of them, as even Levi was surprised since the school was in a different dimension from the planet.

Entering the portal, they were in a place filled with abundant energy as they had even begun to crystallize into mist. The official led the students to a hall filled with students since it was orientation day. A woman with long legs, azure pupils, black hair, and a model-like face came to the podium and started addressing them.

Good afternoon to you all, I am Elara, and also the teacher for this year's fresher, and will be in charge of allocating resources to all of you until you reach tier 7.

The academy was founded because the hostile races were killing all mythic rank talents in the human race. So it was discussed by the upper echelons of the human race, and the Imperial Human Academy was founded. After talking for over an hour on the history of the academy, she finally moved to the main event.

After the orientation, you will receive a token that can be used to access the school's benefits, enter the school dimension, store points, communicate, and accept missions.

There will also be a ranking to show the amount of resources to be allocated to each of you. Currently, the first is Levi Starborn since he is already at tier 5. But if you are confident In your strength, you can challenge him for the number 1 position.

And lastly, you can earn points through completing missions, killing hostile races with 10 points for tier 1, and it will be multiplied by 10 for other tiers. You can then exchange points for resources in the school. Even a star is exchangeable if you have enough points.

Goodbye, and familiarise yourself with the school. In this school, there are no classes, and you can only ask for pointers in techniques from teachers at the cost of points, depending on the teacher, Elara said as she stepped out of the hall through the backstage.

Levi, who was beside Henry, smirked as he found the rules of the school to his liking, as there were no restraints. Levi stood up and walked out of the hall that was bustling with people trying to force their way out. Seeing that there was no other way, he used Blink to get out of the hall and headed straight for the dormitory that was assigned to him. But on his way, someone bumped into him and challenged him to a duel, which made him smirk as he looked at the 1000 points in the opponent's token and the 500 thousand points in his token and said disdainfully, You are not worthy. But instead of backing down, the person just told Levi that he couldn't decline a challenge from someone within 10 ranks lower than himself, so Levi just told him to put 1000 points up as a bet. The person agreed and both of them walked to the arena and used a function of the token that pushed anyone with a waning vitality out of the field.
