Chapter 127 - A Stormy Entrance

(Opening Scene: Astrid has just finished recounting the events to Headmaster Theron. Lady Elara and Prince Lysander are still simmering with indignation. Suddenly, the night sky above Lumina Academy crackles with energy.)

A brilliant flash of lightning illuminated the academy grounds, followed by a deafening clap of thunder that echoed across the landscape. The ground near the assembled group shimmered, and a figure began to materialize amidst the residual electrical energy.

As the light faded, a tall, imposing young man stood before them. He possessed the striking Montaigne features – sharp blue eyes and dark hair – and wore travel-stained but clearly noble attire. It was Xander, Astrid's elder brother, a renowned storm mage who had been away on a diplomatic mission.

Xander looked around, his gaze sharp and assessing as he took in the bizarre scene. His eyes widened as he registered the drawn Null Blade in Zane's hand, the lethal black venom coating the magnificent serpent coiled on his shoulder, his aunt Lady Elara standing in a tense, almost battle-ready stance, and Prince Lysander looking disheveled and injured.

"Elara?" Xander asked, his voice deep and carrying a hint of the storm's power. "What in the blazes is going on here? Why are you looking like you're about to wage war on the academy lawn?" His gaze then fell on Astrid, a flicker of concern crossing his features. "Astrid? Are you alright?"

He hadn't been present for any of the preceding events and stepped into a scene ripe with unspoken conflict and visible danger, utterly bewildered by the unfolding drama.
