Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 Entering the Village

Chapter 45 Entering the Village

"Clang!" The sound of metal striking echoed far in the Air. Fang Bie and Ethan finally arrived next to the Village and saw the Things the Zombies were besieging.

"The Iron Golem was indeed refreshed, otherwise these Zombies wouldn't be coming so diligently!" Fang Bie said without any Surprise. A giant golem was standing in front of the Village, besieged by countless Zombies.

The Reason Zombies continuously arrived must be that there was something threatening them in the Village. If it were just a few Villagers, they would have long since turned into their own kind in their attacks.

If that were the case, the Zombies would stay here and not move. How could they be continuously refreshed?

[Iron Golem]: Health Points 25.

Fang Bie could see their remaining Health Points through the Biological System. This Iron Golem actually only had 25 Health Points left. You should know that its own Life Attribute was as high as 100 points.

"Fang, should we help them?" Ethan asked beside him.

Fang Bie answered without hesitation, "Of course, while these Zombies are attacking the Iron Golem, let's go kill those Skeletons shooting Arrows. You stay here and snipe those Zombies, but be careful not to shoot Arrows at the surrounding Villagers, otherwise that Iron Golem will attack you."

"Okay, you have to believe in my Archery." Ethan replied confidently. Fang Bie then slowly nodded and quietly moved towards that Woods.

It was naturally not without Reason that this group of Zombies chose to attack today. Today was a cloudy day, and without the appearance of the Sun, it meant that these Monsters would not be scorched under the Sun.

It was not surprising that these Monsters with basic AI chose today.

Fang Bie moved slowly along the Forest, and was already very, very close to these Skeletons. He still remembered when he first encountered Skeletons, he wished he could take the word "cowardice" to the extreme, wishing he could drown these Monsters with Water.

But now, even if dozens of Skeletons volleyed at him, it would at most only make him flee in panic, and would not cause him to lose Life.

That was why Fang Bie was so bold. When he quietly approached these Skeletons, several Skeletons were still mechanically shooting Arrows, and did not feel the arrival of a god of death beside them.

"Slash!" The Sound of bones colliding rang out. Fang Bie's Sword touched a lone Skeleton, directly cutting away half of its already low Health Points.

Fang Bie did not continue to attack, but suddenly hid behind a Tree. Just as he concealed his figure, several Arrows clanged and banged into the Tree Trunk.

With the sound of Bow and Arrow shooting through the Air, except for this Skeleton that was still being attacked by Fang Bie, the remaining 4 Skeletons had already begun to shoot at each other.

Fang Bie was again using the Characteristic of Skeleton Monsters in MC, or rather, the Characteristic of these actively attacking Monsters.

Skeletons and Zombies will actively attack those who attack them first, or Monsters, until they are defeated.

Monsters do not possess advanced AI. They will prioritize attacking the Things that attack them, and Fang Bie just happened to choose an angle that could make them attack each other.

After he killed this Skeleton with one Sword, the remaining 4 Skeletons were still constantly shooting at each other.

Fang Bie just leaned against the Tree, and after the four Skeletons had determined the victor, he killed the other two Skeletons who only had a sliver of Health Points left with one Sword. The original 5 Skeletons that were enough to make them overwhelmed died in the Woods so pathetically.

Outside, Ethan quietly climbed to the top of this Building, and was sniping those Zombies from above.

The quiver of Bow and Arrow he brought was not even used up, and all the Zombies had already fallen to the ground. This accuracy also made Fang Bie, who had just returned, feel inferior.

"The surrounding Zombies have been cleaned up by me, shall we go down?" Ethan suggested.

Fang Bie had also put the Sword back into his Backpack. He could not guarantee whether the Iron Golem would attack if it saw that they had attacking intent, or only when they actually started attacking the Villagers would it counterattack.

So in order to ensure the Life safety of the two, he decided to put the Weapon away in his Backpack first.

Under Fang Bie's persuasion, Ethan also readily put away his Bow and Arrow. Anyway, for them, taking out Weapons was only a Matter of thought, and would not be greatly affected.

"The Iron Golem is the Creature with the highest known attack power in this World. It has a damage Ability with an upper limit of 31 points, and will also knock you into the Sky. Unless you have extremely high damage reduction, you will almost certainly die if it attacks you twice."

Fang Bie also explained in detail the combat power of this seemingly clumsy Iron fellow. The two lightly bypassed it. Even if they had the strength to contend, they would not recklessly fight with the other party at this time.

The Rotten Flesh dropped by these Zombies was also collected by them. Since the two sides were not the same Species at all, they did not feel any psychological disgust when collecting this kind of Thing.

If these Zombies looked like People, even if Fang Bie picked up the Things they dropped, he would probably feel disgusted.

"Fang, this is really a good Place!" Ethan exclaimed, "We can use this Place next time. So many Houses are uninhabited, it's simply a natural residence!"

"These Houses theoretically belong to the Villagers, but they do not have real intelligence. Apart from acting according to simple AI, they do not have any other reactions. We can make a Container to put them in, which can also protect them from Monster attacks."

Fang Bie pondered, stroking his chin. He really had no way to regard these blockheaded fellows as his own kind. They could not communicate. Perhaps they could have dialogue and trade, but this was just the setting result of the World.

After the two had a dialogue with this group of fellows for a while, they completely gave up. Not to mention being unable to communicate, they could not even understand simple words. Only when Fang Bie took out the Items of the corresponding Profession according to the clothes on them would they react, and then a Container would appear Before one's eyes.

"20 Wheats to exchange for one Emerald? Too expensive!" Fang Bie shook his head. Even if he had Wheat, he would not come to exchange it, let alone that they didn't have any yet.

They had only just barely solved their food and clothing problems. There were no automated farming Facilities, and no large amount of Minerals. All Resources had to be used sparingly. Even if they wanted to exchange with these Villagers, it should be a Matter of a long Time later.

They gave up the idea of continuing to trade and instead wandered around the Village. This was a rare Facility, a complete Village, not only with a Library, Tower, Smithy, Well, but also seven or eight Houses of various styles.

Fang Bie had come this time for these Buildings, mainly the Library, Smithy, and Well. In all settings, these three Buildings basically contained various Treasures.

Adhering to the principle of leaving no stone unturned, Fang Bie decisively walked into the Smithy to find the Box whose location would never change.
