"Everything is going to be okay now because oppa is there," Yoo Mia declared passionately before grinning up at her brother. Though Yoo Joonghyuk sighed, everyone could tell that it was affectionate.
Kim Dokja could at least be confident that everyone would survive, even if they weren't Yoo Joonghyuk's top priority. Though Lee Hyunsung and Shin Yoosung followed Kim Dokja more in this round, Yoo Joonghyuk still cared for them and that meant that he'd try to make sure they made it out alive. He also clearly knew how powerful Jung Heewon was, and he had thought that it was worth attempting to recruit Lee Gilyoung back near the start. Lee Jihye, of course, was a given.
[several constellations are eager to see what happens next.]
Sooyoung bites her lip and glances over at Dokja, asking him when he got so close to 'that psychopath'. When Dokja claims that they aren't close, Sooyoung points out that he had a very trusting expression when he declared that Joonghyuk would be going to help the others. As Dokja says that he trusts the dokkaebis more than Joonghyuk—trusting in his experience and power rather than his personality—he admits that he is a bit worried nonetheless.
Though he made preparations for everyone else to attack Paradise, and despite knowing that Joonghyuk dealt with it just fine in the second round, he knows that he can't plan everything perfectly. Dokja internally admits that he's a reader—not a writer—so he doesn't have practice directing events, as well as hoping that Joonghyuk feels better after his psychotic break since he's a regressor sunfish.
After a moment, Sooyoung suggests that he watch it for himself, since he has a skill to do that. His surprise confirms her guess, and after a moment, he decides to do it. When he asks her to wait here, Sooyoung doesn't hesitate to ask how much he's going to pay her for that. As Dokja chastises her for wanting payment all the time, she relents and tells him to hurry it up because she can't deal with enemies alone. Agreeing, Dokja closes his eyes and tells her to wake him up if anything happens before he activates Level 3. The moment he's gone, Sooyoung pokes a sleeping Dokja on the cheek like a misbehaving cat.
"Oh come on!" Lee Jihye groaned, throwing her hands up in the air. "Master just made his cool entrance, why do we have to go back to ahjussi and ahjumma? There's nothing interesting happening there anymore."
Kim Dokja had to agree, but unfortunately this scenario had decided that him talking with Han Sooyoung was important enough to show. Unfortunately, the second that Han Sooyoung called Yoo Joonghyuk a psychopath, his previous somewhat better mood thanks to his sister was instantly reverted to irritation.
[the constellation 'bald leader of the peasant's army' is confused by the words of the incarnation 'kim dokja']
Jung Heewon shot Kim Dokja a strange look, narrowing her eyes and pursing her lips in confusion. "You didn't actually just say what I thought you did, right?"
How was it strange? Sure, he might be companions with Yoo Joonghyuk, but it's not like the protagonist particularly liked spending time with anyone who wasn't related to him. Lee Jihye was probably closer to him than Kim Dokja was, despite not being anywhere close to Yoo Mia's level.
"It's the truth, though?" Kim Dokja said, doing his best to ignore the irritated expression that was surely on Yoo Joonghyuk's face. He was just like that.
Yoo Sangah hummed in a doubtful tone. "I have to agree with Sooyoung-ssi; you looked like you had complete faith in Joonghyuk-ssi's abilities."
In his abilities, yes. He didn't have much faith in anything else—with the exception of the protagonist's probability-defying face, of course.
"Kim Dokja," Yoo Joonghyuk thundered, sounding even more pissed off than before. "What are you talking about."
Flinching, Kim Dokja turned around to look at him with a fake smile on his face. "Isn't it obvious, Joonghyuk-ah? You're not the most… personable."
That was an understatement and everyone knew it, but Kim Dokja didn't exactly have many better words right now. Still, it didn't seem to do anything to reduce Yoo Joonghyuk's intense glower.
[a few constellations are thinking that it's okay for a personality to be bad if the face is good.]
See? That was exactly what Kim Dokja meant by Yoo Joonghyuk having a probability-defying face! It was unfair, dammit!
"So you did set it up so we'd all end up working together?" Lee Hyunsung wondered before shuddering. "But, to think that Joonghyuk-ssi did it all by himself last time…"
Yeah, that was the protagonist's powers for you. Still, Kim Dokja had to admit that his future self was right. He wasn't used to being on this end of things at all, and while it had been working well for him so far, it wasn't perfect either. In addition, the last round had still been going well for the protagonist by the ninth scenario, but this time he had dealt with everything with Nirvana. That would throw anyone off, let alone someone whose mentality was as fragile as Yoo Joonghyuk's.
A moment later, Han Sooyoung remarked that he should just go watch it for himself, and the kids straightened up instantly. Shin Yoosung looked at him with big and eager eyes. "Ahjussi, you're going to check on us?"
"Seems like it," Kim Dokja laughed as he patted their heads. Hopefully everything would be alright. He did sigh as he realized that him answering that in the future meant that Han Sooyoung had correctly guessed what kind of ability he had, though.
[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is telling his incarnation to scam the incarnation 'kim dokja' for all his coins.]
Fuck no, he had earned those and he wasn't about to give away more of them than needed.
"Remember, 80,000 per hour," Han Sooyoung teased before gasping in affront as his future self managed to get away without paying at all. "Seriously? You're loaded, that's so unfair!"
Sucks to suck, doesn't it?
[the constellation 'prisoner of the golden headband' is snickering in amusement.]
As Joonghyuk finishes his question, Sangah jumps down behind him with Mia on her back. Jihye beheads one of the monsters before turning in surprise as she notices their arrival.
Although Jihye happily calls out to her Master, he just asks where Dokja is again while looking around intently. Confused, Jihye asks why they're looking for him, and Sangah hurries to say that Dokja is in danger while also looking around nervously.
Hyunsung explains that Dokja left four days ago, while Heewon asks what they mean by danger. Attempting to smile, Jihye states that they're clearly the ones in danger here, not Dokja, which is only further highlighted when the angle changes to an overhead shot that highlights the sheer number of monsters around them. They all quickly get into a formation around Sangah and Mia, ready to defend and fight back. Clueing into the reality of it all, Sangah declares that they'll talk once they're out. Jihye grimaces and laments that Pildu isn't here because he'd be able to help a lot, but unfortunately they were separated from him on the first floor.
Oh, they were back with everyone else. Yoo Sangah let out a relieved sigh as she saw herself arrive shortly after, carrying Yoo Mia. The girl hummed for a moment before turning to Yoo Sangah with reddened ears. "... Thank you, unnie."
"It's no trouble at all," Yoo Sangah reassured her with a kind smile. She was always so nice.
When Lee Jihye was ignored by Yoo Joonghyuk, the girl wilted slightly before looking up, seeming even more determined than before. "I know how you're feeling, Master. You really are dedicated!"
Well, Kim Dokja appreciated that he was potentially worried because of the prophecy, but the protagonist could have at least acknowledged his own disciple.
[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is extremely touched by this display of companionship.]
Kim Dokja sighed. "I'm probably not in that much danger right now, though."
Everyone was seriously overreacting. It wasn't like the 'one he loves most' would suddenly come out of the woodwork to stab him within the time it would take them to finish taking down Paradise.
"I have to agree with Dokja-ssi," Lee Seolhwa admitted. "Right now, the ones in trouble are the people in Paradise."
Exactly! Thankfully, everyone joined together rather quickly, and Kim Dokja was pleased to see that Yoo Mia—as someone who was predominantly a non-combatant—was placed in the most protected spot in their formation. Though the protagonist didn't say anything, it was clear that he was relieved to see it too.
[the constellation 'defense master' is scoffing in disappointment.]
Damn, so Gong Pildu wouldn't be arriving soon? Hopefully he'd make it to the second floor soon enough—Kim Dokja had no doubt that he would, but since his skills and stigma took time to set up, it wasn't exactly going to be in a timely manner.
Lee Gilyoung groaned. "Yeah, noona is right. That ahjussi would have been really useful."
Well, it was too late at that point, but it was a good thing to remember. If they could ensure that the landlord was in their group heading up, they could set up in advance and take Reinheit by surprise. He'd probably realize something was going on, but Kim Dokja doubted that he'd expect the sheer amount of firepower that Gong Pildu possessed.
With a simple flex of his hand, Joonghyuk cracks his knuckles before getting into a forward stance, ready to fight. With ease, he activates [Hundred Steps Divine Fist] and easily dispatches a wave of monsters barehanded in a series of cool shots that highlight the precise impacts, impressing the rest of the group. In truth, he's much stronger than Pildu or Dokja—even possessing enough strength to crack a mountain with his fist. Elated, Heewon feels they have a chance to make it out alive, considering how fast he's getting rid of the monsters.
As he continues carving a path through the monsters with just his bare hands, therefore using the least amount of mana possible, Joonghyuk resembles a human tank steamrolling their enemies. When Joonghyuk tells them to climb out of the hole in the ceiling, Sangah points out that it's too high for the children. He looks at the nervous kids for a moment before grabbing the next monster that attacks and strangling it. Without wasting a moment, Joonghyuk throws the corpse down in front of them and declares, "I'll make some steps, so climb out on your own."
Kim Dokja's jaw nearly dropped as Yoo Joonghyuk stepped forward into an attack stance. The protagonist was about to use hand-to-hand instead of his sword? Holy shit.
He didn't do that often in TWSA—usually only in a situation where his sword had broken or was unreachable for other reasons. There was the rare time where Yoo Joonghyuk thought a fight wasn't worth getting his sword dirty (which was always badass), but this was completely different. Kim Dokja couldn't keep the smile off his face as he watched Yoo Joonghyuk utterly decimate the monsters with nothing but his bare hands and sheer protagonist aura.
[the constellation 'god of wine and ecstasy' is impressed by the display of power.]
This was exhilarating, it was enthralling, and it was a moment that Kim Dokja couldn't have even dreamed of. Getting to see every precise motion and the ripple of the monsters' flesh as his fist impacted their weak points… It was amazing.
Kim Dokja could feel her staring at him again, but he honestly couldn't bring himself to care—not when he felt like he was a teenager again, cheering on his favourite character in the middle of an epic fight scene. This was the TWSA that he loved, and it meant so much to him that he was able to witness something like this.
God, Yoo Joonghyuk was too cool. All of that and he hadn't even broken a sweat, how was that fair? The fact of the matter was that he was also carefully controlling his monstrous strength at the same time, making sure that all his strikes only used the exact amount of force necessary to one-shot his opponents.
"Hey, what the fuck is up with your face?" Han Sooyoung muttered, grimacing in his direction. "It's freaking me out, stop it."
Huh? "But I'm not doing anything?"
Her expression contorted more. "Yes, you are."
Han Sooyoung didn't know what she was talking about. Behind him, she scoffed, and Kim Dokja ignored it as best as he could.
[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is trying to muffle her gasps.]
[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is extremely irritated.]
"Well, Dokja-ssi was definitely right; we didn't have to worry anymore," Jung Heewon laughed, finally relaxing somewhat.
Lee Gilyoung scoffed. "But the sooty bastard seems to forget that some of us can't jump that high."
Yeah, very few people actually could. Kim Dokja absently wondered if the protagonist was just going to pick up the kids like misbehaving cats and carry them out by their collars. It wouldn't be out of character for him at all.
However, not even a moment later, Kim Dokja nearly choked as the protagonist started building a set of stairs from the corpses of the monsters he had killed. What.
[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is thrilled by the idea of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk'.]
[the constellation 'lily blooming in aquarius' is doubting that this is safe to climb.]
"That's… um… certainly creative, Joonghyuk-ssi," Lee Hyunsung said weakly, barely managing to grin in the protagonist's direction.
Holy shit. Kim Dokja had never seen anything like this before.
Everyone stares in shock and a degree of horror at the rapidly growing tower of monster corpses, but Joonghyuk just uses [Air Steps] to continue his ascent to the ceiling, where he punches some more debris to create a platform. He knows that he wouldn't normally do this, but he's different in this regression, even though he doesn't quite know what made him change.
With the aid of the monster steps, the group climbs their way to the top as Heewon and Hyunsung defend their ascent from any monster stragglers. When Joonghyuk reaches the top, he hears Reinheit's voice asking if he's the one known as 'Yoo Joonghyuk'. Recognizing that Dark Castle's rank 2 wouldn't have died just from having a pile of rocks dropped on him, his eyes narrow, but he doesn't respond or move as the party clambers out of the dungeon.
His gaze then drops to the final two members making their way out—Yoosung and Gilyoung. Crouching down, he tells Yoosung that she shouldn't come with them, pushing her back down into the hole with a short tap to her forehead. Befuddled, Gilyoung watches before snapping out of his stupor and calling out Yoosung's name as she falls, reaching out a hand as if to try and grab her. Just as he's turning and angrily confronting the regressor while swinging his fists, Joonghyuk states that he should join her and flicks the boy's forehead, sending him tumbling down after Yoosung.
"Well, Joonghyuk-ssi is making the best of an interesting situation," Lee Seolhwa said after a moment, though she also looked a bit awkward.
"Oppa, maybe just use the rocks next time," Yoo Mia whispered with a grimace.
Glancing down at her, Yoo Joonghyuk frowned. "That would take too long."
Joonghyuk-ah… sometimes taking an extra few seconds isn't a bad thing.
[the constellation 'queen of the darkest spring' is entertained by the thoughts of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk'.]
Lee Jihye snickered as soon as Yoo Joonghyuk mentally admitted that he wasn't sure what made him change. "Master, you can just admit that it's all ahjussi's fault."
Yoo Joonghyuk let out a huff and probably would have rolled his eyes if he was a lesser man. "Most things are."
Hey!
Kim Dokja didn't think he was that bad, right? Sure, he knew that he was a bit of a bastard at times, but he wasn't responsible for literally everything.
Ugh, whatever.
At the very least, everyone was getting out of the hole alright, even though Kim Dokja wasn't sure that the stack of monsters was anywhere close to being structurally sound.
[the constellation 'maritime war god' is relieved to see that everyone is alright.]
"I know he's too strong to be killed by that, but he's so annoying," Shin Yoosung muttered with a scowl as Reinheit revealed that he wasn't actually dead yet. It was to be expected, really. All the protagonist had done was delay him long enough that he wouldn't be able to interfere with their escape—though they both knew that he was really only letting them go out of curiosity.
If Reinheit really wanted, he'd be able to stop them from getting far.
However, Kim Dokja couldn't have expected Yoo Joonghyuk to crouch down in front of the kids, who were clambering out of the hole.
"What do you want, sooty bastard?" Lee Gilyoung hissed, glaring at Yoo Joonghyuk, only for his venom to turn to shock when Shin Yoosung got pushed back down.
Jung Heewon turned to look at him with fury blazing in her eyes. "What the fuck!?"
Yoo Joonghyuk said nothing, but his eyes narrowed at the screen even as Lee Jihye stared at him in bafflement. Yoo Mia froze as well, but she didn't seem to know what to say.
[constellations who like children are horrified by the actions of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk'.]
[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is extremely exasperated.]
[several constellations are understanding why the incarnation 'kim dokja' has little faith in the personality of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk'.]
Lee Gilyoung's eyes went wide and feral as he watched Shin Yoosung fall. "I'll kill you, you sooty bastard!"
Kim Dokja just stared in shock, unable to process what he was seeing. It was only instinct that made him grab onto the kid tighter so that Lee Gilyoung couldn't lunge at Yoo Joonghyuk. Shin Yoosung was trembling, but even she had grabbed onto Lee Gilyoung's arm to keep him there.
"Joonghyuk-ssi!?" Yoo Sangah gasped, looking at the protagonist with a horrified expression. "What are you doing?"
Mind racing, Kim Dokja went over everything he could remember about Paradise, even as Lee Gilyoung went tumbling back into the hole too. There had to be a reason. Yoo Joonghyuk wouldn't just do something like that for no reason—
"Dokja-ssi, aren't you going to say something too?" Lee Hyunsung wondered frantically.
Say something? What could he even say?
Even Lee Seolhwa was looking at him pleadingly, though she seemed equally concerned for another reason. After a moment, she muttered, "Is Dokja-ssi in shock…?"
"Genuinely, what the actual fuck, you shitty protagonist?" Han Sooyoung scoffed. "You literally made those fucking disgusting stairs for the kids, so why the hell did you push them back down?"
[several constellations are frowning at the actions of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk']
[a few constellations are laughing joyously.]
Suddenly, a thought hit Kim Dokja's mind and he sighed. So that's what the protagonist was planning…
"Joonghyuk-ah," he said in an exhausted tone, "next time, please tell the kids the plan first, okay? This just makes you seem like a major asshole."
"They will figure it out," Yoo Joonghyuk replied bluntly and Kim Dokja's smile twitched in irritation. This wasn't the kind of thing they should have to 'just figure out'!
[the constellation 'master of steel' is wondering how the incarnation 'kim dokja' is so calm.]
Calm? He wasn't calm. He was fucking livid, even if he completely understood Yoo Joonghyuk's thought process. That wasn't something you did to a kid, no matter how smart or powerful they were! It was strange, being this angry—everything was clearer than ever and, though he was enraged on the inside, it all felt tightly controlled. Kim Dokja wasn't sure he had ever felt this way before.
He let out a deep sigh, barely restraining his fury. "That wasn't a request, Yoo Joonghyuk. I know danger is unavoidable in the apocalypse, but holy shit, would it have been so hard to tell them to stay behind and hide for a bit?"
Yoo Joonghyuk's expression faltered for a moment, and he seemed almost unsure of what to do. Kim Dokja wasn't expecting him to apologize or anything—genuinely, Kim Dokja would suspect that Yoo Joonghyuk had been replaced by an impostor if he did—but he hoped that this would at least make the protagonist reconsider his actions. If Kim Dokja's disappointment actually did mean anything to him, then maybe it would get through his sunfish skull.
Both kids looked up at Kim Dokja with baffled expressions, and while Lee Gilyoung was too angry to really talk, Shin Yoosung spoke in a wavering tone. "Ahjussi…? Why do we have to stay back…? It's not safe there…"
Kim Dokja ruffled her hair. "There's something only the two of you can do back there. I have confidence that you'll figure it out in the future—and it's a good idea overall—but he really shouldn't have done that."
"That means you're going to ditch the bastard, right?" Lee Gilyoung managed to ask with hope glimmering in his eyes, and Kim Dokja paused awkwardly. That… wasn't exactly how it worked. He was angry, yes, but he also knew that Yoo Joonghyuk was going for maximum efficiency. This would also make the kids exponentially stronger than before.
Honestly, Kim Dokja would have suggested that they stay behind too—albeit in a nicer way.
[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is feeling immensely conflicted.]
[the constellation 'lady of the sleeping brocade' is hoping the children will be okay.]
Suddenly, a loud thudding noise echoes through the air as the streets of Paradise begin to shake, rattling the furniture and causing everyone within to cling to each other and try to figure out what's going on. When Joonghyuk emerges from the dust in true protagonist fashion, a man runs over and asks if he knows what's going on.
Joonghyuk looks to the sky, reminiscing about how he once tried to protect this place with Reinheit in the first regression, but he was betrayed, and how in the second regression, he had destroyed this place with his own hands. Knowing that a story like this would only be consumed by others, Joonghyuk makes a declaration as the monsters begin to pour from the hole on the hill. "Paradise will soon fall. Find something you can protect with your own strength and protect that."
When he looks over his shoulder at the approaching tide of monsters the people of Paradise notice them as well. In a tizzy, the guards run over asking about the location of their Lord while wondering how the monsters could have emerged here. Seeing no help from the guards, the area quickly becomes chaotic as the demons rampage, leaving carnage and the dead in their wake. Heewon and Hyunsung hurry to evacuate people as best as they can, and Joonghyuk mutters that it's amazing that they have survived so far.
[the constellation 'prisoner of the golden headband' is gasping excitedly.]
"I hope the citizens will be alright…" Lee Seolhwa said nervously, looking extremely concerned. It was understandable, given the circumstances.
As relieved as Kim Dokja felt to see Yoo Joonghyuk arrive to help people, the atmosphere was still a bit tense and awkward. What had he been thinking, lecturing the protagonist like that? Yes, he was feeling rather protective over the kids, but maybe it would have been too conspicuous if Yoo Joonghyuk had given them any explicit instructions.
Kim Dokja had no doubt that Reinheit would have targeted them just to stop their plan, but by doing what he did, Yoo Joonghyuk ensured that the demon's attention would most likely stay on him by piquing his curiosity.
[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is ready for some destruction.]
Lee Hyunsung glanced over awkwardly. "So you've known ever since your first regression…?"
Yoo Joonghyuk didn't answer, but he nodded once. Apparently that was all the response he was planning on giving right now.
At the very least, his future self was a bit more talkative, and had oddly decided to give advice to the citizens.
"That's good advice, Master," Lee Jihye said quietly, but even her enthusiasm wasn't at her usual levels. She was clearly still bothered by what had happened, and was worried about the other two kids.
[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is shaking his head in disappointment.]
"They still think that Reinheit is a good person…" Yoo Sangah muttered softly. "They'll all feel so betrayed when they learn the truth."
They would, but it was far too late to reverse things now.
At the very least, Kim Dokja could relax as he saw Lee Hyunsung and Jung Heewon work to evacuate as many people as they could. Lee Hyunsung was good at sounding authoritative, and Jung Heewon had become quite recognizable in her short stay in the city, so that was something they'd be good at. The citizens would listen to them.
Jung Heewon didn't look pleased by Yoo Joonghyuk's mutter, though, but Kim Dokja couldn't do anything about that.
In a situation like this, he knows that they could die for people whose names they don't even know, and Joonghyuk muses that it's only because of Dokja's influence that they could make it here with that much optimism left. Sangah, who has followed him with Mia, tells him that she was only able to get here because of them. Joonghyuk just scowls and tells her that he wasted time because of her faulty information—she had told him that Dokja was here after contacting Olympus.
Joonghyuk remarks that either the information is wrong, or that someone is manipulating it, before thinking that maybe Dokja is manipulating it himself. Regardless, he knows that this isn't the ideal way of dealing with Paradise, and is pretty annoyed because of it.
However, right as a monster is about to attack a little girl with black hair who's crying all alone, Joonghyuk rushes in and draws his sword. In slow motion, the girl's eyes open as she's drawn to the glint of light reflecting off the blade. With the expertise of someone who's done the movements thousands of times, Joonghyuk slices through a mass of monsters before one could even blink.
While he wanted to be irritated by what Yoo Joonghyuk was saying, he had a point, and Kim Dokja had to admit it. If Kim Dokja hadn't been around, then Lee Hyunsung would have had to kill a person to survive, and Jung Heewon likely would have died in the second scenario.
[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is praising the good influence of the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]
He didn't consider himself a good influence, though. All he did was make unconventional choices, nothing more.
"It's true," Yoo Sangah admitted after her future self spoke. "Without Heewon-ssi, Dokja-ssi, and Hyunsung-ssi, I definitely wouldn't have gotten this far."
Ahh… this wasn't the time to be sappy. They had more important things to focus on.
However, Kim Dokja felt conflicted once again as the protagonist admitted that he had trusted Yoo Sangah's information. He naturally distrusted her already, and he wasn't particularly thrilled by the idea of trusting the constellations either, and yet he had listened to what she had said.
"Huh, that's weird," Han Sooyoung muttered, narrowing her eyes. "That drunk guy was able to find us just fine."
[the constellation 'god of wine and ecstasy' is confused.]
That was strange. Maybe he had asked Dionysus to tell Yoo Sangah that he was at Paradise, just to try and get her there to help as well?
Whatever, Kim Dokja couldn't focus on that—not when Yoo Joonghyuk had stepped in to protect a defenseless child. Despite what had happened earlier, the protagonist wasn't heartless.
"Oppa…" Yoo Mia whispered, her voice nearly cracking from the emotion colouring her tone. "That girl looks like me, a bit."
She did, and Kim Dokja understood why Yoo Joonghyuk would be compelled to come to her rescue. He had seen his sister die before twice now—what would unfortunately be the first times of many—and that wasn't something that Yoo Joonghyuk could forget. He had probably moved on instinct alone before he could even think.
[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is looking silently at the incarnation 'yoo mia'.]
"Please rest assured, our Paradise won't fall so easily," Reinheit's voice calls out suddenly, drawing Joonghyuk's attention as the ground rumbles once more. All the citizens and guards cheer, believing their Lord to be their salvation, before a large mass of vines erupt from the earth and spear several monsters. The cheeriness of the soldiers is quickly dampened when the vines at the top don't reveal the innocent-looking Reinheit they're used to, but rather a massive plant demon.
As Reinheit's voice echoed in the air, Kim Dokja cursed under his breath. That didn't take him long, and he really hoped that the kids had passed under his radar.
"Why is the ground rumbling so much?" Lee Jihye asked nervously. "This is freaking me out."
Right, this wasn't going to be pretty.
[a few constellations are wondering if earthquakes are possible in the 'dark castle'.]
The people had no idea what was coming for them, and Kim Dokja couldn't even blame them. For someone who didn't know how to recognize the clues, it would be hard to have any inkling of the situation as it really was. They truly believed that he was there to save them, and Kim Dokja felt nothing but pity.
"That's so gross," Shin Yoosung whispered as she trembled nervously, watching as Reinheit's grotesque plant-like body emerged from the ground.
[many constellations are thrilled by the current events.]
[several constellations are wanting to see a true fight between the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk' and the demon 'reinheit von djerba'.]
