Chapter 169 - Constellation Banquet

Yoo Sangah glanced nervously up at the ceiling for a moment before looking back down. She seemed to be awkwardly fidgeting with her hands and biting her lip, as though trying to decide whether or not she should say something. Eventually, she opened her mouth.

"Um, thank you for wearing something different this time," she said quietly. "It's still weird seeing my own face like that, especially because everything else is so different, though."

[the constellation 'queen of the darkest spring' is reassuring the incarnation 'yoo sangah'.]

Thankfully, everything seemed to be okay. However, Han Sooyoung was scrutinizing the goddess' form on the screen. "I think I'd look hot in that dress. You can totally still use my face if you want."

[the constellation 'queen of the darkest spring' is amused by the offer, but respectfully declines.]

… Kim Dokja didn't even know what to say to that, so he decided that he just wouldn't bother saying anything.

As 'Goryeo's First Sword' clicks his tongue and sits back down to drink, Dokja internally sighs about the goddess looking like Sangah, guessing that she did it to tease him.

As the two stand off in an alcove—looking out at the other fable-grade constellations murmuring around them—Dokja asks how she's been doing, only for Persephone to remark that he's left quite a commotion in Tartarus. Dokja laughs dryly at this before trying to figure out who the fable-grade constellations around the second floor could be. Internally, he remarks that it's more difficult to tell when they're in human form because a symbolic form can give better clues. However, he perks up slightly when he spots 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' sitting on a couch on the second floor, who looks over briefly before huffing and looking away. Dokja briefly wonders if the Great Sage's personality was always like that before he looks around with a serious look on his face.

"Yeah, I think she could find some better ways to tease you now, Dokja-ssi," Jung Heewon snickered with a teasing glance. Kim Dokja had no idea what she was implying with that, but it was probably something ridiculous.

What, did she think that Persephone would turn into Nirvana to be even more unsettling, or something? Admittedly, that would probably work.

"That sounds like ahjussi, alright," Lee Jihye laughed as Persephone remarked that he had caused a commotion. To be fair, if he had really told Kim Namwoon what he thought he had, a commotion would be an understatement. That didn't mean he wanted to face any kind of repercussions for it or anything, though.

[many constellations are curious to see who is in attendance.]

"Ahjussi, is it harder to tell because they can look like whatever they want?" Shin Yoosung asked as Kim Dokja remarked that it's easier to identify constellations in symbolic forms than those in humanoid forms. As he nodded and smiled at her, he patted her head affectionately.

"Exactly, Yoosung-ah. As you can see with Persephone, she made herself look like Sangah-ssi, and the only clue to her identity is her dress," he said softly. "Sun Wukong is pretty distinctive, though."

As though on command, his future self managed to find the constellation in question, who seemed to be minding his own business. It was odd to see him so calm and passive, considering the kinds of messages he would always send.

[the constellation 'prisoner of the golden headband' is tearing out his hair in excitement.]

Yeah, like that one. Was Sun Wukong one of those people who would type LMFAO with a completely straight face, or something?

I think I roughly get the arrangement of the second floor. With Persephone at the center, Olympus in the East, Vedas in the West, the constellations of smaller nebulae—including the Great Sage, Heaven's Equal—or constellations without nebulae in the North, and finally, Eden in the South.

While he names the locations, the scene shifts to show the groupings before stopping on Eden. As Dokja peeks over his shoulder, a pretty blonde angel—the only one in a black dress—winks at him cheerfully. Dokja's eyes widen as he takes in her appearance, noting that her attire—although still undoubtedly gorgeous—looks demon-like in comparison to the others.

… Wait a second. 'Demon-Like'?

Through Dokja's vision, the woman's cheerful smile takes on a more sinister looking appearance as he thinks the words 'Demon-Like'.

[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is confidently declaring that all the other constellations suck compared to him.]

[the constellation 'lily blooming in aquarius' is glaring at the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon'.]

Kim Dokja's eyes narrowed as he took in the different groups the constellations had split off into. He had known that the Underworld wasn't always on great terms with the rest of Olympus, but it was very interesting that she was sitting completely separately from them nonetheless. It might seem like a small thing, but at a banquet like this, it was basically a declaration to the other constellations that they weren't affiliated at all.

"Hyung, what's Vedas?" Lee Gilyoung wondered curiously, looking up at him with a confused frown on his face.

Ah, right. Nobody other than Yoo Joonghyuk would have encountered them, really. They didn't really become major players in TWSA until later on as well, so he doubted that Han Sooyoung would know much more other than the fact that they were a nebula.

"They're the nebula composed of constellations from Indian mythology," Kim Dokja replied. "They're probably here because of the incarnations from the New Delhi Dome being invited, but they never really interfered all that much with the Seoul Dome in TWSA."

Most of the time, they didn't have much interaction with Yoo Joonghyuk until much later in the scenarios, since they had no reason to pay attention to Seoul. Before the 10th scenario, most constellations wouldn't see Yoo Joonghyuk for the threat that he would become, and they'd only realize it as he got stronger through personal scenarios after the liberation of the domes.

[several constellations are curious about what was said about the nebula 'vedas' in the novel.]

Well, nothing particularly nice. They were constellations, after all, and Yoo Joonghyuk didn't give a shit about who a constellation was when he was planning on killing them anyway.

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is jumping around joyfully.]

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is thrilled with the current events.]

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is waving excitedly at the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]

As the scene focused on the angels of Eden, however, Kim Dokja's eyes widened as he realized just who he was looking at. Well, it was clearly obvious to his future self too, even if he wasn't aided by Uriel's excited messages.

Jung Heewon's eyes widened as she looked up at the ceiling. "Is that really you, Uriel? You're so cute!"

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is smiling widely at her incarnation.]

Her dress really suited her, and it was nice that Jung Heewon was able to get confirmation about what her sponsor looked like. It was also good to know that he'd probably be able to count on Uriel to be friendly if he needed to talk to Eden for whatever reason.

Having identified her, he turns to Persephone and asks if a constellation who goes by the name 'Secretive Plotter' came to the banquet as well. As he states the name, an image of a figure cloaked in starlight appears on the screen. Their large, muscular hands have long fingers with sharp nails, seeming even larger due to the shot's perspective. The only parts of their face that are revealed are a straight nose, a mouth slightly open as though in thought, and a chiseled jawline that appears to have been sculpted by only the best of the best.

However, Kim Dokja of the future didn't seem like he was planning on approaching her. Instead, he turned to Persephone and asked something that he'd been wondering about anyway.

"Oh, that's right," Lee Hyunsung said as he looked over at Kim Dokja. "The 'Secretive Plotter' has been supporting you all this time too, so you probably want to see him at least once."

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is wondering if the words of the incarnation 'lee hyunsung' are true.]

Well…

"I wouldn't mind," Kim Dokja said truthfully. It would be a good opportunity for information gathering, after all. There was basically nothing about this constellation anywhere, so he figured that he'd have to do all the digging himself at this rate.

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is contemplating many things.]

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is expressing his desire to privately meet with the incarnation 'kim dokja' in the future.]

"Don't make foolish decisions," Yoo Joonghyuk said all of a sudden, glaring intently at the Secretive Plotter's messages. He seemed to be genuinely pissed off by that suggestion, even if there were definitely ways that Kim Dokja could play the situation to his advantage.

Kim Dokja sighed and allowed a wry smile to cross his face. "What, are you worried? I'm not stupid, you know."

Han Sooyoung snorted. "Could have fooled us."

He was going to ignore that, so he focused on Yoo Joonghyuk's stupidly attractive frown instead. "Joonghyuk-ah, really, it's fine. He's been supportive so far, and I want to dispel some of that secrecy."

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is scoffing at the insecurity of the incarnation 'yoo joonghyuk'.]

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is staring threateningly at the constellation 'secretive plotter'.]

A moment later, though, the screen was overtaken by what seemed to be an artistic rendition of the constellation, and Kim Dokja's jaw dropped as his gaze darted all around the picture. Almost none of his face was visible, but it was more than he had ever seen before.

Lee Seolhwa hummed thoughtfully. "Secretive Plotter-nim, is that what you actually look like?"

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' says that it is similar, but not exact.]

Interesting. Kim Dokja's focus immediately went to the constellation's hand, wondering if that was something that was somewhat accurate. The first thing he really processed was how long the Secretive Plotter's fingers were, and he didn't really know why that image seemed to be burned into his mind. Just looking at them sent a shiver down his spine, for some unknown reason.

To make matters worse, Kim Dokja's brow furrowed as he forced himself to look past the hand at the constellation's jawline. It looked oddly familiar, and that was confusing him. Jawlines that perfect weren't common at all.

"Hmph, he probably looks worse than oppa," Yoo Mia said confidently, and Kim Dokja's gaze slid over to the siblings. She was right, of course, but Kim Dokja ended up staring very intently at Yoo Joonghyuk face for a moment. It was a very good face, naturally, even when he was frowning like this. He looked rather upset for some reason, and he was staring intently at Kim Dokja to the point where it was getting a bit uncomfortable.

Wait a second…

"That can't be right," Kim Dokja muttered just loud enough to draw everyone's attention.

Yoo Sangah looked at him curiously. "Dokja-ssi? Did you figure something out?"

"Huh?" He looked up, finally snapping back into reality. "Um, well…"

How was he supposed to explain this…?

[the constellation 'prisoner of the golden headband' is urging the incarnation 'kim dokja' to share his thoughts.]

"I was just wondering where this picture even came from. What if whoever—or whatever—is behind this scenario doesn't know what the Secretive Plotter actually looks like either?" Kim Dokja admitted. "Maybe they used someone else as the model and just hid their face?"

"Oh, like an artist using a reference," Lee Seolhwa remarked, and Kim Dokja nodded.

[a few constellations are contemplating this hypothesis.]

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is narrowing his eyes thoughtfully.]

"But ahjussi, why would you even think that?" Lee Jihye asked with a strange expression on her face. "It's not like there's enough to tell who this 'model' could be, right?"

And then Kim Dokja answered without even thinking. "That's very clearly Joonghyuk-ie's jawline, though."

The entire room went silent in varying degrees of shock, confusion, and other emotions as nobody said a word for a few seconds. Honestly, it was pretty awkward, and Kim Dokja was starting to feel weird because of everyone staring at him like that.

[many constellations are flabbergasted.]

[the constellation 'god of wine and ecstasy' is laughing raucously.]

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is baffled by the words of the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]

Han Sooyoung was the first one to break the silence. "Literally nobody else would have ever fucking noticed that. What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Then clearly they just weren't as observant as he was, because there was nothing wrong with him.

[the constellation 'demon-like judge of fire' is declaring that the incarnation 'kim dokja' knows because of companionship.]

She seemed to be radiating intense disapproval, which Kim Dokja was trying to avoid thinking about, and all the other women were exchanging a set of strange looks.

Yoo Joonghyuk was staring at him too, but in utter bafflement instead. "What are you talking about."

So they were back to the statements that were meant to be questions, it seemed. Fuck, how could he avoid explaining? Right, time to bullshit.

"Well, think about it for a second, Joonghyuk-ah," Kim Dokja said as he plastered a large fake smile on his face. "You're a very handsome man, so it makes sense that constellations would want to take your form. Maybe whoever created this picture wanted to flatter the Secretive Plotter by implying that his looks are as good as yours?"

Yoo Joonghyuk's eyebrow was twitching now, and Kim Dokja didn't know if he could dig this hole much deeper. The protagonist also seemed to be rather proud, for some reason, but the whole thing was such a disaster that Kim Dokja didn't particularly care. He just wanted someone else to say something so he could escape.

"Master is the most handsome!" Lee Jihye added eagerly. "These constellations wish they could be as good-looking as you."

Yeah, that's right. Thank you, Lee Jihye. Yoo Mia was nodding along too, clearly agreeing with the older girl.

Yoo Sangah just looked pensive, like she wasn't sure about it, before glancing nervously at the others. "Um, I had a thought. What if it is actually Joonghyuk-ssi acting as the model?"

Huh?

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is greatly confused by the suggestion of the incarnation 'yoo sangah'.]

"Well, we know that a version of Sooyoung-ssi is involved with this scenario somehow, but we don't have any proof that Joonghyuk-ssi isn't, either," Yoo Sangah reasoned. "Maybe I'm completely wrong, but we don't know anything about where this footage is even coming from."

Well, there was one small problem with that…

"I wouldn't work with her," Yoo Joonghyuk stated bluntly, narrowing his eyes in Han Sooyoung's direction.

"Back at you, fucker," Han Sooyoung retorted with equal venom.

Yeah. That was the problem. It was pretty unlikely that Han Sooyoung would ever have enough blackmail on him to get him to cooperate either, because he wasn't likely to accept regular bribes. It was way more likely that whoever drew this was just inspired by Yoo Joonghyuk's godly looks.

[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is throwing a tantrum.]

[the constellation 'abyssal black flame dragon' is annoyed that this is taking too long.]

He wouldn't be saying bullshit like that if Han Sooyoung was relevant right now, but whatever.

Suddenly, a dokkaebi announces the start of 'Story Succession', asking the incarnations to move to the Room of Secrets. As Dokja looks at the ornate golden doors that appear in front of the incarnations, he remembers that Persephone didn't know the answer to his question, just making a strange expression before moving on to ask him about if he's made a decision, since choosing no one will lead to constellations attempting copyright disputes.

Dokja looks back at the constellations as he remembers his confusion at the idea of copyrighting a fable. He had wondered if the goddess had been trying to pressure him to choose Olympus but, with a chuckle, Persephone had frankly stated that she hates their guts.

Just as she said, Persephone was actually in a hostile relationship with Olympus in TWSA. There were gods in Olympus that have been keeping a watch on Persephone, and who hesitated to talk to me since I'm with her.

As Dokja guesses that it's due to them being wary of Hades, a group of half shadowed figures are shown to be keeping a watchful eye on Persephone. Holding the door handle, Dokja feels lucky that the first fable-grade he met was Persephone, and that he unintentionally obtained protection from the Underworld.

The process of 'Story Succession' was simple. The incarnations would secretly meet the constellations by using a 'room', and then they would go up to the platform and announce the fable that they would succeed after hearing all of their conditions.

As he starts to push the door to his room, he notices that Joonghyuk is 'coincidentally' standing at the door beside him. With a smile, he tells the stoic protagonist—who's clearly pretending not to care—that he'll see him in a bit.

"Honestly, I almost forgot that was supposed to be happening," Lee Hyunsung admitted in an embarrassed whisper as they proceeded towards the next part of the banquet.

Well, it was understandable, but Kim Dokja was honestly more frustrated that he hadn't even gotten an answer. In other words, the Secretive Plotter likely wasn't at the banquet. Damn.

When Kim Dokja clicked his tongue, Yoo Joonghyuk's shoulders seemed to relax slightly for some reason. Maybe he was just relieved that they weren't discussing stuff that wasn't important to him anymore, Kim Dokja didn't know.

[the constellations of the nebula 'olympus' are looking at the constellation 'queen of the darkest spring'.]

"At least you're not being pressured into choosing someone," Lee Seolhwa said with a small smile. "Make whatever decision is right for you, Dokja-ssi."

Well, that decision would probably be none of the above, and Kim Dokja already knew that he'd probably piss off more constellations than before because of it. Eh, he'd be fine. Worst case, he'd make sure that Yoo Joonghyuk was in between him and the constellations.

It was nice to know that just by being invited by Persephone, and by being around her, he was unintentionally assumed to be under their protection, though. If it made some constellations leave him the fuck alone, Kim Dokja would be glad for it.

[the constellation 'queen of the darkest spring' is smiling at the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]

As Kim Dokja's narration explained how the process worked, the kids seemed really curious about the whole thing.

"Hyung, could I do that with you someday once you become a constellation?" Lee Gilyoung asked extremely eagerly. "It's not fair if she's the only one who gets your stories!"

"Buzz off, bug boy!" Shin Yoosung hissed. "Ahjussi is mine, got that?"

Ah… seriously?

"Kids, I'm not even a constellation yet, and I don't have any stories with abilities like that either," he said in an exhausted tone of voice. "Don't get too far ahead of yourselves."

Both of them seemed to wilt, so he sighed and patted their heads. They'd realize eventually that there were many better options than him.

At the very least, his room was right next to the protagonist's, so that was a nice coincidence. Yoo Joonghyuk didn't seem to be particularly pleased about this, but then again, he was rarely pleased with anything in the first place.

Entering the 'Room of Secrets', Dokja looks around briefly as he walks towards the snazzy desk in the center.

The Room of Secrets. It was one of the most confidential places, where complete secrecy is guaranteed even from the Star Stream. Even the dokkaebis of the channels wouldn't know about the things that happened here.

In his mind, Dokja remembers Persephone's final warning to him: [You will gain an enemy no matter who you choose. But think carefully, is this really a problem of turning someone into your enemy?]

As Dokja sits down, mulling over her words, the door bursts open and an old man dressed in an orange Achkan enters while telling Dokja to choose the [Blessing of Resurrection]. Dokja smiles confidently at seeing the 'Founder of Humanity' enter the room despite the constellation glaring at him the entire time.

It looks like the first batter is India.

[many constellations are curious about what stories will be offered to the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]

[the constellation 'scribe of heaven' is expecting a time skip.]

However, as the scene followed him into the room, Kim Dokja felt his apprehension rise. Not even the dokkaebi knew what happened in these rooms, and it was basically impossible for the information to be recorded in the Star Stream. How the fuck was this scenario showing it?

[the constellation 'scribe of heaven' is narrowing his eyes suspiciously.]

This wasn't comfortable at all. What happened in that room was supposed to be completely confidential, and now it was being broadcasted like it was nothing. A shiver ran down Kim Dokja's spine, and he tried to keep himself calm.

Persephone's words were pretty worrying too, but he'd find a way to deal with it somehow.

Before Kim Dokja could think too much, the first constellation entered the room. Ah, so Vedas had decided to try and get the advantage early, it seemed. Unfortunately, the constellation didn't seem to understand that commanding someone to choose them would probably backfire.

"Yeah, no, not interested," Kim Dokja muttered with a roll of his eyes. There was no way in hell he was choosing that.

[the constellations of the nebula 'vedas' are scoffing at the incarnation 'kim dokja'.]

The room disappears, and a moving drawing of flood waters comes into view as a horned fish pulls along a boat full of people. At the stern of the boat sits a figure looking remarkably like the 'Founder of Humanity'.

According to the Indian Epic, 'Manu' was the survivor of the Great Flood. In exchange for saving the life of a fish, he was able to escape from the Great Flood by going to the top of the Himalayan mountains in a ship prepared by the fish…

The negotiator sent by Vedas was the constellation 'Manu', who had the modifier 'Founder of Humanity'. Manu was a constellation who frequently argued over fable copyright with the 'Master of the Ark', a constellation from Eden.

Dokja interprets this as the man being a copyright dispute specialist among the constellation of Vedas, asking if the Master of December 25th—Mithra—didn't come himself. Manu responds that someone of that stature doesn't have that kind of availability, and he proceeds to tell Dokja to skip the small talk and answer whether or not he'll accept the fable.

[constellations who like mythology are excited to see this depiction of the constellation 'founder of humanity'.]

[a few constellations from the nebula 'eden' are narrowing their eyes at the constellation 'founder of humanity'.]

It was quite an interesting rendition of the whole thing, and a very brief retelling of the story. Short and simple, which was nice.

Lee Jihye wrinkled her nose. "Damn, only one boat? That sucks."

Jihye-yah, not everyone can summon a bunch of ships on command, you know.

As his narration continued, Kim Dokja sighed. Right, there was no way to go over this myth without mentioning the conflict with Eden. If anything, didn't it just prove that there likely was some kind of great flood in the past, if two religions that originated in different parts of the world had a very similar story? Whatever, it wasn't Kim Dokja's problem anyway.

[constellations who are knowledgeable about copyright are sighing and preparing their notes.]

Jung Heewon snickered, apparently very amused by the fact that this argument was so common that other constellations already had their points ready to go. Kim Dokja just thought it was sad, but it would probably be better for him if the constellations were too busy squabbling amongst themselves anyway.

Though, as Manu spoke condescendingly to him, Kim Dokja was extremely unimpressed. Did they seriously think that he'd ever accept their demands if they treated him like shit? No way.

"Already said it, not interested."

Seeing how he's acting and the fact that Mithra, who the fable actually concerns, didn't come, Dokja is easily able to guess their play. Manu also starts ranting under his breath about how Vedas is one of the largest nebulas and that other nebulae—especially Eden—plagiarize their myths. Rather than answering, he asks what Vedas can offer him. Sharply, Manu answers that he will get the blessing of the sun god. When Dokja presses for further elaboration, the man snaps and calls Dokja an insignificant mortal.

"Again with the insignificant mortal? Don't you think that's an outdated cliché at this point? You're all constellations who love unconventional stories, yet just how long will you continue to look down on humans with such overused lines?" Dokja asks, his voice turning cold as he stares the constellation down. When Manu erupts into further insults in a rage, Dokja simply expels him from the room, taking full advantage of his administrator rights.

Yoo Joonghyuk scoffed as the constellation began ranting, and he was clearly as unimpressed with the whole situation as Kim Dokja. Internally, Kim Dokja had to wonder if the protagonist was putting up with this kind of bullshit in his room too. It was probably torturous for the man to sit through it and avoid lashing out, knowing him.

[the constellation 'lily blooming in aquarius' is unimpressed with the unprofessional behaviour of the constellation 'founder of humanity'.]

[the constellations of the nebula 'vedas' are frustrated with the nebula 'eden' for continued plagiarism.]

[constellations who are knowledgeable about copyright are getting headaches.]

"Ahjussi, this is stupid," Shin Yoosung muttered. "If he's just gonna be mean, he should leave already."

Kim Dokja nodded in exhaustion. He agreed completely, especially as the constellation began insulting him yet again.

"This is a dumpster fire," Han Sooyoung cackled, and Kim Dokja had to admit that she was right. "Glad you kicked his ass out."

[the constellation 'founder of humanity' is glaring at the incarnation 'han sooyoung'.]

What an absolute failure of a negotiation, ten out of ten. Kim Dokja had no faith that the next one would be any better.

When he calls for the next constellation, an emaciated and blind figure enters, and he has lines of black blood stemming from his eyes as he gives an easy smile. Dokja looks at the modifier, recognizing the name and explaining that students constantly hear his name until they get tired of it, much to the constellation's surprise.

'One Who Stabbed His Own Eyes'. He was the 'King Oedipus' that was taught in university liberal arts classes countless times. My hatred towards Sophocles is starting to rise after such a long time.

Dokja explains that he's already heard about being the 'Cult Leader of Bacchus' from Dionysus, prompting minor surprise from Oedipus before he mumbles contemplatively about Dionysus having already approached him. This gives Dokja some weird vibes.

Persephone, who attended the banquet, had her back turned to 'Olympus', and Dionysus told me 'not to trust anyone'. Neither of them ever asked me to join Olympus.

An image of a wine glass, Persephone, and a shadowed figure flash across the screen as Dokja thinks about their words. Oedipus then reveals that he's not here to exercise the copyright for the 'fable of resurrection' either, making Dokja realize that he's likely here as Olympus' true representative. Sure enough, not even a moment later, Oedipus declares that Olympus will offer him [Carnival of Lightning]. This offer takes Dokja by surprise as he notes that it's a fable belonging to Zeus.

Kim Dokja's brow rose as he recognized the next constellation to walk in. Interesting that Olympus chose him, of all people.

[the constellations of the nebula 'olympus' are wondering what story they will offer]

"Wait, didn't you already get an offer from Olympus, though?" Lee Hyunsung wondered, sounding confused. "Or was that guy acting alone…?"

Well, thankfully King Oediupus clarified it only a moment later, considering his confusion that Kim Dokja had already been offered the Bacchus story. Not that he wanted it in the first place, but whatever.

"It seems like there are some major communication issues there," Lee Seolhwa remarked thoughtfully, but Kim Dokja wasn't particularly surprised. They had always been rather divided in TWSA, but that wasn't even the reason why.

He sighed. "That's a given fact—have you seen their mythology?"

Olympus was a mess right from the beginning, after all.

Still, it was interesting that Olympus wasn't there to offer him anything related to resurrection, when that seemed like the most obvious choice. In fact, he'd bet half of his coins that if Eden was going to approach him too, they'd offer him their resurrection story.

However, nothing could have prepared him for the story that they were actually offering him, and Kim Dokja's jaw dropped.

One of Zeus' fables!? Holy shit, they were really pulling out the big guns, weren't they?

[many constellations are shocked by the fable offered by the nebula 'olympus'.]

[the constellation 'god of wine and ecstasy' has dropped his glass.]

[the constellation 'secretive plotter' is looking suspiciously at the nebula 'olympus'.]

Kim Dokja had to agree. They would never offer something like this without a major catch. The question was what that catch would be.
