In the desert, Smith Doyle used the Dragon Ball to observe John Wick's situation while leading everyone to approach him.

Fortunately, everyone was riding camels. If they were driving an SUV, they would have been stuck in the sand and unable to move.

Smith Doyle controlled the distance between the two parties and did not dare to get too close before John Wick saw the elder. After all, the desert was endless and if he got too close, his whereabouts would be exposed to the other party.

Of course, the distance would not be too far, giving him enough time to rescue John Wick. He didn't want the other party to have half of his finger cut off due to slow support. After all, John Wick was now his subordinate.

...

Time passed little by little, and John Wick was finally brought before the elder. The waiter pulled him off the camel without any courtesy and threw him on the carpet. The sunlight shone on his cheek, and John Wick slowly woke up.

"Drink it!"

Hearing the voice, John Wick immediately looked at his pocket, where the Dragon Ball was.

"Don't worry, your stuff is still there, drink it."

After hearing these words, John Wick gradually came back to his senses and looked towards the place where the voice came from.

At this moment, a dark-skinned man, dressed in Arab style, but looking extremely luxurious, was sitting in front of him.

John sat up slowly, picked up the glass of water in front of him, and was about to drink it.

Then I heard the man in front of me speak again:

"Kid, why are you lost?"

John faced the man in front of him and slowly said:

"I'm not lost. I'm looking for you."

"Do you think I'm talking about your location?"

John did not answer immediately, but slowly poured the water in the cup into his mouth. He was very thirsty.

"I've never seen anyone fight so hard to escape a world of killing, only to find themselves back there on their own initiative."

The elder stood up and walked to John, slowly squatted down, looked at John Wick and said:

"Tell me, Jonathan."

"Why do you want to live?"

Hearing the other party's words, John Wick said,

"My wife, Helen."

"For her, for us."

John Wick lowered his head after answering. At this moment, he was wondering when Smith Doyle's support would arrive and when he should launch a counterattack.

After hearing John Wick's answer, the elder asked again:

"So you want to live for the memory of love?"

John Wick looked up at the other party and said in a low voice:

"More than just memories."

The elder looked at the man in front of him, without dwelling on the meaning of his words, and asked,

"I heard that you have obtained the protection of the Assassin's League."

John Wick was a little surprised that the elder knew this, but it seemed reasonable, so he did not lie:

"Yes, I received their protection."

The elder looked at John Wick for a while, then said,

"You are the first and only person to enter the Assassin's League as a registered assassin in front of the Continental Hotel."

"I'm a little curious, how could they protect and accept you given their status?"

John Wick thought of the dragon ball his wife gave him and said,

"It was Helen who brought me this luck. Maybe it was her blessing."

The elder smiled and did not take John Wick's words seriously. Instead, he asked,

"Why did you come to see me when you have already been protected by the Assassin's League?"

John Wick knew he had to continue stalling for time, so he said,

"I need to cancel the public bounty on me."

The elder was not surprised by John Wick's request. When he learned that John Wick was heading here, he had analyzed the other party's purpose.

"It seems that you are not satisfied with just staying at the headquarters of the League of Assassins."

"I can give you the opportunity to be free, so that you don't have to worry about being assassinated by others."

"But you need to complete five tasks for me and tell me a secret."

"If you agree to these conditions and tell me the secret, I can revoke your expulsion and cancel the public reward."

"And those five tasks require you to complete them with all your might for the rest of your life."

The elder actually wanted John Wick's loyalty more, but he knew that after getting the protection of the League of Assassins, he would never agree to such a thing again, so he could only compromise and propose this condition, and he would not lose out by taking the five missions.

When John Wick heard the conditions proposed by the elder, he remained calm on the surface but was actually disdainful in his heart. After all, if nothing unexpected happened, the Assassin's League would soon go to war with the High Table, and the elder in front of him would be the first to die.

It doesn't matter if you agree to the other party's conditions. Now you just need to buy time.

The elder obviously didn't know what the Assassin's League was planning, nor did he know what John Wick was thinking. He stood up and returned to his chair, saying,

"Of course, the choice is yours."

"I choose to leave the castle and remember my wife, or be trapped in it for the rest of my life."

After hearing the choice given by the elder, John Wick stood up and glanced around with his peripheral vision, but did not see Smith Doyle and others.

I could only continue to stall for time and asked,

"What secret do you want to know?"

The elder just clapped his hands as if John Wick agreed. One of his men came up with a box, came in front of John Wick, opened it and showed what was inside.

When John Wick saw what was in the box, he was also stunned. He didn't expect that the elder also had a dragon ball in his hand, and looking at the stars inside, it should be a three-star ball.

John Wick was delighted, because this meant he would soon have 4 dragon balls in his hands, and he would not be far from having 7 to fulfill his wish.

The elder said,

"Tell me what this treasure is and what secrets are hidden in it."

John Wick was silent for two seconds, then asked,

"Do you really need to know this?"

"Why don't we start by talking about what your five tasks are?"

Seeing that John Wick was unwilling to say it directly, the elder became even more interested.

The more secrets cannot be told, the more valuable they are.

"There is no rush for the mission. It will take you the rest of your life to complete it. There is nothing important right now. If there is, tell me its secret."

John Wick took a deep breath and said slowly,

"If you must know, I hope you won't regret it then."

"This one is a three-star dragon ball. There are seven such treasures in total, and together they are called the Seven Dragon Balls."

"According to the number of stars inside, there are one star ball, two star ball ...seven star ball."

"And if you gather all seven dragon balls, you can summon a dragon!"
