In my quest log, I had nine quests in total. The last one was to clear the Tower of Heroes, but the first six involved sniffing out the religion by corrupting faith, collecting the heart of the strongest creature by killing Tiamat, creating the church of Lilith by kindling a cult, killing all the heroes by defeating ten thousand unique players, taking over the world by founding a sovereignty and making it the only polity, and killing Eden. Those were the demands of the primordial demons: Yaman, Drakul, Lilith, Ragna, Ajin, and Xanda. Unfortunately, I couldn't get started on either one of them because I was too low level. Or could I? Regardless… as for the other two, I simply had to reach the tenth level and use my skills: name and promote on a single monster.
Next came the skill trees. I had two choices: pride and the swordsmanship of the monarch. However, I already knew what I was going to learn, spending one myth point to do so; I was down to two.
<
Two new skills were now available in the swordsmanship of the monarch skill tree, but I couldn't learn them. Not yet. Because,
<
Do I learn pride? Or do I save my myth points? It was a tough decision…
<
I was down to my last and only myth point – the final one. However, I couldn't spend it because there was nothing for me to spend it on. I had learned all the skills available from the skill trees, but there would be more. I just had to level up twice, which required about one hundred fifty thousand experience points.
Lastly, I opened my inventory. I had two new items: the versatile sword of the goblin king, which I couldn't equip because I was not level nineteen yet, and five black enhancement stones. There was only one item that was worth upgrading – Pandora's undergarments, as it was a growth-type item, and its grade was black, too.

When I was done, I closed my inventory, skill trees, and the quest log. "I am ready n—" but I was already somewhere else. "Where am I?" It was underground, first of all. But it was not dark; there was illumination from the torches on the earthy ground and the rock walls. It was slimy. If it weren't, there would only be machinery and tools in my vicinity.
"Help us!" I turned towards the voices and saw two groups: that of four dwarves and twelve slimes fighting against one another. They were just as you would expect from either. But for the sake of transparency, pun intended, the slimes were round blobs of goo the size of wolves, and the dwarves were short, muscular little people with long beards and mustaches, male or female didn't matter.
The slimes couldn't speak, and yet I still heard their voices, "Maou! Maou! Maou!" They began jumping up and down in excitement.
"Wh—what's going on?" one of the dwarves asked.
"I don't know…" another replied.
"They are suddenly behaving strangely… maybe this is our chance?" the third chimed in.
"Don't do anything rash!" the last one ordered.

As the Maou, I had to side with the slimes, but my instincts urged me to side with the dwarves instead. It was not surprising, since I was attracted to dwarves in a platonic kind of way; they were a staple of fantasy, after all. I clicked my tongue in annoyance at myself but didn't make a hasty decision, thinking of something more thoughtful than instincts or expectations.
"I am a priestess from the church of Lilith," I proclaimed; Xanda burst out laughing. "My goddess forbids me from aiding someone who is not under her grace. And thus, if you want me to assist you, then you will have to renounce your god, whoever they may be, and welcome Lilith into your hearts as your one and only goddess!" At the same time, I tried replying to the slimes, "Kill them!"
"Will you name us?" the slimes asked. "And promote us?"
"Names and promotions for everyone," I recalled the skill descriptions of both.

The slimes stopped jumping around as they got serious, completely surrounding the four dwarves in a perfect circle. Out of their bodies, tentacles sprouted forth, morphing into deadly blades. I wonder if I could use a slime as my weapon… would that be possible?
"Crap!"
"I don't want to die! I am just a miner! I renounce Dwargo!"
"Me too!"
"I WILL NEVER RENOUNCE GOD DWARGO!"
I didn't even have to do anything; the slimes focused their attacks on him. He was dead in an instant.
"LILITH IS THE ONLY GOD I SERVE!!!" and with that, all the dwarves renounced their god for the primordial demoness.
<
Since I could now infuse element affinities into my attacks, I infused the dark element into the swordsman's arc.

"We are saved?" the dwarves couldn't believe it in their eyes.
<
<
"Of course," I smiled. "Now go forth and spread the faith of Lilith! The church of Lilith!"
When they finally left, I heavily sighed out and said, "That was exhausting…"
