I placed myself on the reference point that I had left with a cushion, sat on it and closed my eyes trying to 'feel'.
The world of darkness presented before my eyes was soon filled with shapes and contours to soon distinguish my toys from the grass.

"Oh." Twilight's tail stopped swinging when she noticed that the candy wasn't chocolate.
Soon a cough was heard that caught everyone's attention.

"Your test will be to hatch this egg, and you can also demonstrate a magic under your control. You can start with the exam"
The examiners remained silent as they began to take notes. Through the classroom window I could see my parents with an absurd look as they looked at the egg and then at the examiners.
I focused my attention on the egg, the name is totally unknown to me, I have hardly touched the zoology books of this world, notice the small star-shaped patterns on the shell of the egg, I suppose a characteristic of the term astral, but It can also have a magical connotation and even more so in a magical fantasy world like this.
A Mimic is a creature that tends to imitate creatures or objects to hunt its prey according to fantasy books on Earth, so heat may be an aspect to hatch the egg, but that way is prolonged to long waits, I'm supposed to hatch it today, within the duration of the exam, so the variable for its hatching is another.
In an instant I activated my magic and used [Flash] to stand next to the egg and look at it closer.
*!!!* The sound of typing became more furious as I used my magic to teleport to see the other side of the egg.
I sent a small pulse of magic towards the egg looking for some reaction, the egg reacted, its specks became lighter.
'!!!' An idea arose, perhaps being a magical creature, specifically a hatchling, perhaps it occupies a source of magic for its development, heat was not necessary, the cart was enchanted to keep it warm, I realized that when I approached.
I pushed my magic slowly starting with a small amount, slowly I increased the amount.

Celestia's Pov
After leaving all the foals in the different classrooms, I went to receive my two promising offspring. When I arrived with Twilight Sparkle, her anxiety increased when she realized my presence. The poor thing was trying everything she could, but her emotional instability was disrupting her magical control.
I went to see Wizbell Star from outside so as not to cause the same effect, but when I looked out the corridor window I found a pleasant surprise.
Wizbell had already shown a calmness when I called all the foals, but now I saw him use an advanced spell without any interference, there was no nervousness in the little colt's magic, but rather a strong confidence and curiosity, curiosity about the egg presented in front of him as an abstract challenge.

Distractedly I turned my gaze to Wizbell to see him having problems with magic for the first time, his small face was filled with confusion, I could feel it from my place how his magical reserve had more magic than he could handle, but just as I felt it With it, in the next room a magical whirlpool formed, all the magic in the environment was concentrated on someone, using [Flash] I teleported into the room to see Twilight Sparkle who had managed to hatch the egg but now all her magic was beginning to wreak havoc.

With each heartbeat my magic moved further away from my control, I was shocked by the surprise, my spatial sense began to bombard me with information, I gained a 360 degree vision, the pain of my overloaded magical circuits began to fill my body, there was so much magic gathered in my body that was beginning to wreak havoc.
Without further hesitation I exposed all that excess energy, but I couldn't just release it uncontrollably, it could hurt others because of the raw power that was in the magic, but retaining it in my horn wasn't good either, since it began to heat up quickly.
If I can't hold it inside me I'll do it outside, a silly and impulsive thought, but it wasn't the time to reason.
I released my magic in the form of a ball of raw magical energy that was difficult to hold, at that very instant, it left my body.
A forgotten memory resurfaced, taking me away.
I was taken to a corridor formed by energy in constant movement overlooking an infinite sea of stars, a corridor that I had walked forever while witnessing aspects of reality that I still cannot understand, but something about it gave me a spark of knowledge.
That memory was before I became Wizbell.
I opened my eyes to see the ball of frenetic magic almost going out of control, my spatial sense was completely sealed, I entered a trance as everything became slower and it was easier for me to observe everything, at that moment my magical focus went from being 1 to 3, I used my hands to split the magic in two and then make it orbit around me while I directed some energy as an output towards the egg that had been absorbing magic non-stop at all times, I could see the signs to hatch but the egg continued to absorb magic.
I don't know what view others would have of me, but I could only concentrate to maintain this abstract state where I felt that I managed to reach a certain truth, but my state was not adequate to achieve, I could only maintain the rhythm and concentration, it was not the time to give in to my curiosity.
I pulled out a watermelon candy that I quickly gobbled down.
As the seconds passed it became easier to control the 2 energy orbs until they were completely absorbed by my own magic circuit and the egg.
