Clover Kingdom – Royal Capital
After the dungeon raid, Ethan Hayes, Asta, and their team rested for a few days before heading to the royal capital to report to the Wizard King.
Standing before the Wizard King, Yuno and Asta couldn't help but feel awe. Asta, unable to suppress his excitement, shouted:
"Whoa! You're the Wizard King! And you're alive! Amazing!"
The group cringed slightly at Asta's enthusiasm. The Wizard King, looking amused but awkward, replied, "Yes, of course, I'm alive. Did you expect otherwise?"
Recognizing Achievements
"Excellent work," the Wizard King said with a calm smile. "Although the dungeon treasures weren't fully secured, stopping the Diamond Kingdom was an outstanding accomplishment."
He shifted his gaze to Yuno and Ethan Hayes, his expression one of deep thought. These two possessed a rare four-leaf clover grimoire, symbolizing immense potential.
"I've also heard that both of you have bonded with Wind Spirits. Is that true?" His eyes sparkled with curiosity, and he leaned in far too close, leaving Ethan and Yuno visibly uncomfortable.
Ethan sighed and summoned Zephyr, his Wind Spirit. "Alright, Zephyr, come out."
A bright green light shimmered, revealing a petite figure with golden hair and delicate wings. On Yuno's side, Sylph appeared with an equally radiant aura.
The Wizard King studied them with fascination. "Two Wind Spirits? This is unprecedented!"
The Wizard King's Discovery
The Wizard King's gaze lingered on Zephyr. Something about her mana felt different. He thought, "This spirit... her mana is unusual. It feels deeper and more mysterious, almost ancient."
At the same time, Zephyr warned Ethan telepathically, "Master, this man's mana is immensely powerful. Be cautious."
Ethan smiled and reassured her, "Relax, Zephyr. He means no harm. By the way, since you're an ancient spirit, how would you rank him compared to others you've encountered?"
After a moment of silence, Zephyr responded, "At least in the top five."
Ethan raised an eyebrow. "Top five? Interesting." He had always been impressed by the Wizard King's time magic, but hearing this added a new level of respect.
