Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Meet the pirates, sink them!

Hearing Tashigi's words, Smoker was also stunned.

Subconsciously turning his head to look at Tashigi, Smoker hesitated for a moment, then spoke.

"No, he may have a mission here."

"We won't interfere."

Hearing Smoker's words, Tashigi felt a little dizzy.

That's Garp, Vice Admiral, and Marine Hero.

Although he wasn't exactly the person she admired the most, it was still a rare opportunity to meet him, and she wanted to see Garp in person.

On the other side, aboard the dog-headed warship.

Vice Admiral Garp of the Marine Headquarters, wearing a dog hat and holding a bag of potato chips, sat on the wooden steps without any dignity, reading the newspaper and laughing.

"Hahaha! As expected of my grandson, he's really causing a ruckus!!"

"Hahaha!!"

Garp laughed loudly.

Beside him, several Marine generals exchanged glances, thinking of reminding him, but after a moment's thought, they decided against it.

On the deck below, Admiral Aokiji of the Marine Headquarters spread out a folding chair and leisurely laid down on it, wearing a blindfold.

This behavior made the Marine generals standing nearby feel a bit embarrassed.

After hesitating for a moment, one of the generals asked with some uncertainty.

"Admiral... are you... okay?"

Hearing this, Aokiji didn't mind. He casually replied and gave an excuse.

"It's too much trouble to ride back."

As Aokiji explained, it really was too much trouble to ride back.

At first, he had come by bicycle at sea, but now that there was a boat available, he didn't see the need to ride a bike.

The Marine general standing by scratched his head upon hearing this answer, feeling somewhat confused and murmuring.

"This... doesn't seem quite right..."

Meanwhile, on Smoker's ship.

A Marine general hurried over to Smoker's side, saluted, and reported loudly.

"Report! Colonel Smoker, a pirate ship has been spotted ahead!"

Hearing the report, Smoker bit down on his cigarette, glanced back at the Marine general, and asked with a frown.

"Pirates?"

The reporting Marine nodded.

"Yes!"

"Which pirate crew?" Smoker asked again.

This time, the Marine general hesitated for a moment.

Then he replied.

"I don't know..."

Fortunately, Smoker didn't seem to mind that much.

His question was just to confirm which pirate crew it was.

Since the general didn't know, it was likely just some unknown small-time pirates.

Let them sink into the sea.

"It doesn't matter, just sink it!"

Upon receiving the order, the Marine general immediately saluted.

"Understood!"

After trotting away from Smoker, the general went to make arrangements.

Smoker turned his head and glanced at Tashigi, who was standing next to him.

"Let's go. Let's take a look too."

The two of them walked to the bow.

Soon, a sailor handed Smoker a telescope.

Smoker took the telescope and looked at the ship in the distance.

At first glance, Smoker saw the skull emblem painted on the ship's mainsail!

It was a design consisting of a pair of white wings, a blindfolded skull, and two crossed red knives!

In these seas, a skull symbol was synonymous with pirates.

After carefully observing the double-winged, blindfolded skull emblem, Smoker recalled if he had ever seen it before.

Once he confirmed that he hadn't recognized the emblem or the crew, Smoker was sure it was just a small pirate crew.

Since it was a small-time crew, there was no need to be concerned.

Turning his head to look at the sailor next to him, Smoker ordered.

"When they get within artillery range, don't report, just fire."

Hearing this, the sailor nodded solemnly.

"Yes, Colonel!"

At the same time, aboard the Kamui Pirates' ship, Kronos and the others were still enjoying their lunch on the second floor, as usual.

On the other side, the ten handymen were also eating lunch, but unlike Kronos and the others, they were very troubled.

"What should we do now?" one of the handymen asked helplessly.

The other nine handymen looked at each other in dismay, and finally, they all turned their eyes to him.

"Don't look at me, I don't know either."

"I can't do it either."

"If I had the pointers or charts, maybe I could come up with an idea, but now I have nothing, and I can't help."

"Me neither!"

"Me neither!"

Everyone agreed, and the answers were all the same.

There was no solution.

After a while, everyone sighed helplessly again.

"Alas! It's been a few days, and at this rate, we're going to be finished."

"The reserve materials are almost gone, and we haven't seen any sign of an island for days."

"If they start a fire, we'll be in big trouble, right?"

"Will we be killed?"
