The divine light of the teleportation glyph enveloped Shin and his party in brilliance that defied description. It cast no shadows—only radiance—bending the very rules of the world to accommodate something greater. When the light faded, they stood not in a hall, nor a palace, but within a sanctum untouched by mortal thought.
Pillars of starlight and obsidian spiraled into an infinite sky painted in hues of eternal twilight. Beneath their feet, a mirrored floor shimmered like still water, reflecting a boundless sea of stars. The air thrummed, not with sound, but with a vibration that sank into the bones. The architecture felt alive. A heartbeat. A presence. A throne for creation itself.
Shin stood tall at the center, his wives arrayed beside him like celestial warriors and goddesses in their own right. There was no fear, but the weight of divine scrutiny pressed on all sides.
They had arrived before gods.
Real gods.
Each presence loomed with impossible weight, not in hostility but in sheer gravity—like standing in the eye of a hurricane that had learned to speak in riddles and silence.
The first to step forward was Aether.
He emerged from the swirling starlight like a shadow given form—an eternal silhouette of night and chaos, wreathed in crackling starlight. His golden eyes gleamed like suns carved from sorrow and storm. And yet, as his gaze found one among them—Raven—it softened.
"It's you," he said, voice low and crackling like thunder echoing across forgotten cosmos. "The sister Mother couldn't protect."
Raven's eyes widened. "What?"
"What is your name, little sister?" Aether asked again, his tone quieter this time.
"…Raven. Or Rachel, in my world."
Aether's expression darkened. Shadows gathered around him like mourning veils. "Nyx. The Primordial Goddess of Night. She birthed an incarnation of herself in your universe—a daughter meant to balance the chaos. That daughter… was you. But before your soul fully formed, she was ambushed."
He turned, slowly, toward Shin. His eyes flared with memory. Then back to Raven.
"Trigon. That filth from the Lower Realms. He struck her down. Defiled her vessel. Before your birth could be sanctified, he twisted your body and chained your soul."
Raven's breath caught. Her voice, always calm, now trembled. "She… she wanted to save me?"
Aether stepped forward, his hand curling into a fist. "She did more than want to. She tried. But had she intervened directly, the Source Wall would've sealed her forever. She watched from the void… as your body was turned into a prison, and your heart made into a tool."
Raven's hands clenched at her sides. Her power flickered, not in anger—but grief. Behind her violet eyes, a storm churned. Old lies crumbled.
"That's why… he always said I was his. That I belonged to him," she whispered. "He meant it literally."
Aether's eyes sparked. "You don't belong to him. That power he stole—it was never his. It was our mother's gift. Yours by right."
His gaze sharpened, now on Shin.
"Brother. Traverse the Void when you strong enough. Tear down Trigon's realm. Deliver me his head… or offer it to our mother."
Shin didn't blink. His voice was steady. "I already planned to."
Aether exhaled, and some of the tension in his form dissipated. "Then you have my thanks. For protecting my baby sister."
Raven turned to Shin. Her voice, always guarded, was now open and bare. "I… I'm not alone anymore."
"You never were," Shin said gently, brushing her hand with his own. "Not since the day you chose to walk beside me."
A shimmer danced in her eyes. Not magic—something more sacred.
From the side, Lilith emerged in a slow, liquid glide. She was beauty incarnate, wearing power like silk and temptation like perfume. Her gaze drifted to Elise.
"Your succubus blood runs deeper than your daughter's," Lilith murmured. "Old blood. Rare blood. Powerful."
A knowing smile tugged at her lips. "I wonder… will Shin conquer you? Or will you conquer him?"
Elise met her gaze with a tilt of her chin and a smirk that didn't flinch. "Why not both?"
Shin gave her a side glance, one brow raised. But the edge of his mouth betrayed his amusement.
Then came Thurdd—the Dragon Goddess, vast in power and divine in bearing. Her steps echoed like drumbeats of destiny. Her golden gaze landed on Lulu and Velzard, and pride flared behind her eyes.
"You two little dragons," she said, arms folding across her armored chest, "you burn with more than fire. Your bloodlines scream of Sovereignty."
Lulu's grin was sharp. "Guess I've got more in common with you than I thought."
Velzard said nothing, but the faint blush on her regal features betrayed her pride.
Thurdd turned to Heart.
"Grant Serafall her transformation," she ordered, voice rich and firm.
["Yes, Lady Thurdd!"] Heart replied cheerfully. ["Locating… Prism Nova Catalyst. Divine-class Magical Girl Transformation Core deploying now!"]
A ribbon of divine magic uncoiled, latching to Serafall like a ribbon of stars. Her clothes unraveled into sparkles. A uniform of sapphire and white reassembled across her form—ornate, radiant, flawless. Twin crescent wands floated beside her.
Serafall struck a pose. "Kyaa~! Magical Girl Serafall, Defender of Justice and Love, reporting for du—"
She stopped mid-spin. Her eyes locked onto a silver-haired figure behind Shin.
"…Grayfia?"
The stoic maid's expression cracked. "Serafall?"
With a cry, Serafall dismissed her transformation and rushed forward, arms flung open. Grayfia caught her and pulled her close. The hug was desperate. Real. Trembling.
"I thought I'd never see you again," Serafall whispered.
Grayfia's voice broke. "You idiot… you're alive."
Serafall sobbed against her. "I thought you were still locked in that castle, bound to Luci-poo's icy throne! Why didn't you tell me you were free?!"
Grayfia held her tightly. "Because I thought you hated me. For staying. For not running when you did."
Serafall pulled back, tears running down her cheeks. "I left to find something real. Love. Freedom. A reason to smile. And I found it. I found Shin."
Grayfia shivered. Then her arms wrapped tighter. "I followed. I left it all behind."
Shin remained silent. Watching. Letting them have their moment.
Even Lilith smiled.
Then came Hayato—silent until now—his voice cutting through the emotion like a blade.
"We've delayed long enough."
He stepped forward, arms crossed.
"First reason we summoned you: we wanted to meet your wives. Only Lilith and Thurdd have the full roster. The rest of us were… curious."
Lilith tossed her hair with a grin. "Naturally. First wives don't wait for permission."
Shin sighed. "You're acting like I had a choice."
"You didn't," Lilith and Thurdd said in perfect unison.
Hayato continued. "Second reason: your Night Defense Battles. Starting next cycle, they'll be twice as hard as the other Lords'."
Shin's eyes narrowed. "Why?"
"Because your rise threatens balance," Hayato replied bluntly. "Some gods fear what you're building. This is their compromise."
["So petty,"] Heart whispered in Shin's mind. ["Want me to leak some divine bedroom secrets to the gossip planes?"]
He didn't respond.
Hayato reached into his coat and tossed a disk to Shin. He caught it smoothly.
"Third: The Merchant Accord. That token lets divine merchants visit your realm. Exotic goods. Rare knowledge. Forbidden relics. Custom commissions."
"Useful," Shin said, weighing the token in his palm.
"And the last thing…" Lilith said, her voice low. "It's about the trouble we're going to bring you."
Shin raised an eyebrow. "You say that so casually."
"My Everflame," Lilith said with a sultry grin, "there are some male gods who admired us. Proposed to us. Desired us."
"They're furious we chose you," Thurdd finished, her voice colder than any glacier Velzard could conjure. "They can't attack you directly—divine law—but they'll send mortals, monsters, or even rival lords after you. It'll get bloody."
Lilith's gaze turned serious for once. "They don't love us. They want our divinities. Our power. Our bodies—as prisoners, not partners. Like Thanos with Death, they want what they don't deserve."
Shin's jaw set. "So how many do I have to kill before they stop?"
["Possibly all of them,"] Heart chirped. ["Your popularity's a bit… lethal."]
Lilith stepped close, a rare softness in her gaze.
"Velmoria sends her pride," she murmured. "And a gift."
["Gift detected,"] Heart said. ["Cataloging… Velmoria's Crimson Pact. God-Tier Artifact. Activating Succubus Hive Resonance."]
A red pulse flared from Shin's soul mark. Power rippled outward. The air shimmered. Lilith, Elise, Boa, and Raven inhaled sharply as the effect cascaded.
["Crimson Pact effects as follows,"] Heart declared:
• Succubus Hive Resonance: +100% charm power, +30% mana regen for all succubi
• Incubus Sovereignty: Psychic link and climax resonance bonuses
• Pactweaver's Halo: Stabilizes rival emotions. +Loyalty, –Jealousy
• Everflame's Embrace: Dream-bonding for up to three succubi. (Skill evolution enabled)
• Passive: Succubus Harem Limit Break – New Max: 666
Shin's brow twitched. "Six sixty-six? Really?"
["Straight from Velmoria's heart. And thighs,"] Heart quipped.
He sighed. "Figures."
Lilith leaned in, her voice a whisper in his ear. "We'll be watching. Every victory. Every failure. Every choice."
"And we'll be proud," Thurdd added. "Because you were forged by more than fate. You earned this."
Aether nodded from the shadows. "And you're not done yet."
The divine light shimmered again, signaling their return. Shin took one last look at the gods—his allies, enemies, and kin.
He saw in them the truth.
Fire was coming. So was glory.
And he would face it all.
Together.
When the light consumed them again, it carried them home.
Back to the Kingdom of Legends.
