A simmering blue tab floated quietly before my eyes, its translucent glow casting a soft blue light across the nursery room.

"Ray, can you show me my status?" I asked, curiosity bubbling inside me.
"You should really think more about your surroundings first," Ray replied, giggling mischievously.
Only then did I realize the warmth enveloping me — my brother Aamon was still hugging me tightly, his strong little arms wrapped around me protectively.
Feeling a bit guilty for forgetting, I decided to play my part.
I looked up at him with innocent eyes and said, "Aamon... brother..."
The words came out clumsily, exactly how a toddler would speak.
Aamon's eyes widened, shimmering slightly under the sunlight filtering through the windows.
He looked like he had just witnessed the birth of an angel.
"I think you know what he's thinking right now," Ray teased, laughter echoing softly in my mind.
"So cute, or something like that, right?" I replied mentally, suppressing my own amusement.
Trying to shift the topic, I asked, "I obtained a skill from your evolution, right?"
"You're talking about [Cradle of Memories], right?" Ray answered smoothly.
"You can use it on yourself or others, but they need to be asleep first. So you can't use it right now."
Before I could ask further, the door creaked open.
Paola entered, looking slightly tired but still maintaining her usual composure.
"Young Master Aamon, Master has called you," she said softly, stepping closer.
Aamon hesitated, looking down at me with a conflicted gaze.
"What about him?" he asked, pointing toward me.
"Young Master Roy should be fine. Master has called only you," Paola replied patiently, reaching out her hands.
Reluctantly, Aamon handed me over, though his fingers lingered for a moment longer before he pulled away.
Paola, holding me securely, walked toward the door with Aamon, but then she carefully set me back into the cradle, making sure I was comfortable before exiting with my brother.
The room grew quiet once again.
I sighed in relief, nestling into the soft cushions.
"Now can you show me my status?" I asked mentally.
"Of course," Ray replied cheerfully.
Another shimmering tab unfolded in front of my eyes.

"Pretty nice, right?" Ray said, a hint of pride in her voice.
"I don't know the average value," I replied honestly, feeling a little uncertain.
"It will probably increase as I age, right?"
"Yes, it will. People normally become apprentices around the age of 20. You're way ahead of your time, so just relax," Ray reassured me warmly.
Feeling slightly reassured, I nodded mentally.
"Can you open the skill library now?" I asked.
"Of course!"
Without delay, a new tab appeared before me, the titles of skills neatly displayed.

"I see there are some unknown ones," I observed.
"Yeah," Ray said casually. "Those are skills that haven't germinated yet. Think of them like seeds — you have the qualifications, but they haven't bloomed."
A playful tone entered Ray's voice as she added, "And I think you know exactly which skill I'm referring to, Raphael."
The name stirred memories from my past life.
"One of my most valued abilities... Deep Learning," I whispered mentally.
"Your powerhouse is on its way back," Ray said, almost gleefully.
"How do you feel, Roy?"
I closed my small fists softly.
This world... filled with magic, monsters, and endless mysteries...
I would need every advantage I could get.
"I don't know yet," I admitted calmly, "but it will definitely be useful. Especially in this world where monsters roam."
The thought brought a faint smile to my lips.
My new life was only just beginning.
