Chapter 120 - Chapter 118: The Rise of the Fallen Gods

---

The silence after the fall of Thanar, the God of Destruction, was brief. The battlefield, still marked by the chaos of battle, seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the next move. Chirag, Siya, and Kael stood together, their bodies weary, their minds focused on what lay ahead.

"We did it," Siya said, her voice barely above a whisper, but there was a light in her eyes. "One down. But we need to keep pushing."

Chirag nodded, his heart still racing from the intensity of the fight. Thanar had been strong, but not strong enough. They had taken down the first god. But there were more to come.

"Let's keep moving," Kael said, his gaze already scanning the horizon, where the other gods were gathering. He wasn't one to celebrate a victory before the war was truly won.

Chirag agreed. "We'll take them one by one. They may be gods, but they're not invincible."

The air was thick with tension as the ground trembled beneath their feet. The remaining gods were no longer just watching from a distance. They were coming. And they were not happy.

The first to appear was Xynthar, the God of Storms, a being of pure lightning and fury. His figure was a blur of crackling energy, his eyes glowing with the power of a thousand storms.

"You think you can defeat us?" Xynthar's voice boomed, as the sky above darkened. "You will regret this."

He raised his hand, and the winds howled, as bolts of lightning rained down from the sky. The storm was unlike anything Chirag had ever experienced. The air hummed with the power of the god's energy, threatening to tear everything apart.

"We have to stop him!" Kael shouted over the noise. "He'll destroy everything."

Chirag clenched his fists, flames flickering to life around him. "I'll handle this. Siya, Kael—stay close. Don't let the storm divide us."

With a surge of determination, Chirag charged forward, using his flame to cut through the storm's lightning, deflecting the bolts that came too close. But Xynthar was fast—faster than anything Chirag had ever fought before. The lightning cracked through the air, striking with the precision of a thousand arrows.

Siya, with her wind powers, leaped into action, sending blasts of air to deflect the lightning and protect Chirag. The two of them moved as one, a perfect balance of flame and wind, their forces combining to hold the storm at bay.

Kael, on the other hand, was locked in combat with the creatures that Xynthar had summoned—beasts of wind and thunder, swirling with lightning. His sword glowed with divine energy as he cut down one beast after another, his movements swift and deadly.

But even with all their combined strength, Xynthar was relentless. The storm only grew stronger, pushing them back. Chirag's heart raced as he tried to keep up with the pace, but the storm was becoming too powerful.

"We need to end this, now!" Chirag shouted, desperation creeping into his voice.

Siya nodded, her eyes flashing with resolve. "I can help. But I need your flame."

Chirag didn't hesitate. He held out his hands, channeling all his fire, all his strength, into a single burst of power. The flames roared, a tidal wave of heat and fury, and with it, Siya summoned the winds to create a barrier of air that pushed against the storm.

The two forces combined—fire and wind—creating a vortex that began to unravel the storm. Xynthar howled in anger, but it was too late. The combined power of Chirag and Siya's elements overwhelmed the god of storms, his form crackling and flickering as he was torn apart by the elements.

With a final scream, Xynthar was consumed by his own storm, his power dissipating into the air.

The battlefield grew still again.

Chirag fell to his knees, exhausted from the battle. His flame flickered, dimming with the strain of the fight. But he had done it. They had done it.

Kael walked over, wiping the sweat from his brow. "That was close," he said with a small grin. "But we won."

Siya knelt beside Chirag, her hand on his shoulder. "You were incredible," she said softly. "But we need to keep moving. There's still more to come."

Chirag nodded, though his body screamed for rest. "I know. But we're getting closer. We're making progress."

The gods may have been powerful, but Chirag was learning something new with each fight. He was stronger, more confident. And with Siya and Kael by his side, he knew they could win this war.

As they turned to face the next threat, Chirag's heart hardened with resolve. The gods had taken everything from him—but now, he was taking it back. This battle was far from over, but they had already shown that the gods were not invincible.

And Chirag was ready to keep fighting, no matter what it took.
