Chapter 5 - PRIMODIAL DEMON

As they all fell to the floor, the face of Lucas materialised in the sky, and he looked at them with indifference, as he began his words.

Due to fighting and risking the end of the whole race, no demon can devour another without participating in the tournament I will design for you now.

As he spoke, a blue screen appeared in front of all the demons.

[state: inactive]

[bet: none]

This was a system that Lucas came up with after thinking. The function was simple: a demon could bet a part of his essence, or anything, to fight with an opponent, and when the bet was initiated, they would be transported to another realm where real death was impossible. The winner would get to devour the wager after the battle.

The demons looked up with reverence as they saw Lucas' face fade away, and a word echoed in their mind. The words were PRIMODIAL DEMON. Lucas, coming out of the divine realm, heaved a sigh of relief as he hoped his words were going to be enough to make the demons stop the unnecessary killing.

That was how three days passed, with Lucas constantly forwarding the time in the divine realm. In the divine realm now, 100 years had passed, and a lot of things had changed. The demons were already living in wooden houses and making simple weapons. The population had also spiked up a lot, and the faction that had the most population was the faction of Lilith that thrived on seduction magic.

The most important fact is that most of the inhabitants were already at B-rank, and even the top ones were at A-rank. Lucas, who stopped looking at the divine realm, went into his room to take a shower while recalling the scene of him choosing Imperial Sanctum Academy. The academy promised to give him 100 divine crystals every month and a 30% discount to access the ultimate void. The ultimate void was a place filled with infinite planets, and even the paragon-ranked planet masters of the human race can not see it to the end. They could only go there with their natural body, but those below had to go through a void pathway created by a paragon rank divine realm master. It consumed 100 divine stones for every entrance. Levi planned to use the void pathway Federation store in his city before getting out for the academy in one month.

The reason was simple: he did not want the demons to remain complacent because they did not face life-threatening situations.

After coming back, he wore a black t-shirt, with blue jeans that amplified his handsomeness even more. He took the pouch that contained the leftover divine crystals and the one given to him by the Imperial Sanctum Academy, heading for the Federation store.

Entering the Federation store, he met with a receptionist and told her he wanted to use the void pathway, and she requested 20 divine crystals for entrance. He understood that they would also collect fees to use it, since they would also have to gain from it.

The receptionist told him to wait for 2 minutes so she would prepare the chamber for him. While she was busy with her things, Lucas used that time to inform the inhabitants of the war that was coming, and told them that they should prepare.

Exactly two minutes later, the receptionist came out and led Lucas to the chamber and was directed to a bag-like equipment where he dumped 100 divine crystals, and a door opened out of nothingness, and he entered.
