"Hahaha, really? I can't imagine that." I said.
"Well it did happen." Akatsuki said as we walked over to the dining table.
We had both just finished preparing dinner together and had alerted the others.
"Whoa, something smells nice." Kimishita said, sliding down the stairs.
"You'll fall." Akatsuki said.
"Fall? Damn! Why's it slippery there?" He asked, jumping down the stairs.
"Safe!"
He was always the first to rush down whenever it was time to eat.
"Whoa! What the hell?" He asked, looking at me surprisingly.
"Finally, the food is ready. I was almost certain that we'd not have anything for dinner." Akaji said, yawning before taking a seat.
"Whoa!"
"Why do you look so surprised, Akaji-kun?" Tamura Hinami asked, walking down the stairs with the other girls.
"Yeah, you guys have been... Whoa!" Nakamura exclaimed, looking as shocked as the others.
They all walked downstairs before taking a seat at the dining table.
*Must be my hair, maybe I look weird after all.* I thought taking a seat beside Akatsuki.
I picked up my chopsticks to begin eating but I felt many eyes on me.
*Is the food bad?*
"Um… anything wrong with the food?" I asked, placing my chopsticks on my bowl.
"Who?" Watabe asked.
"Um..." I tried speaking up as I noticed Akatsuki trying to stifle his laughter.
*Damn you, did you do anything with my hair?He didn't do anything, did he?* I thought looking at him as he looked away.
"Um… guys. The food's gonna get cold." I said trying to look away.
"Hmm? Oshiba-san?" Sugawara asked.
"Yes?" I answered.
"Oh my God, that's actually Atsushi-kun." Tamura said.
"Um… yeah?" I said.
*I'm Atsushi-kun.*
"Whoa, you look tots different." Hayashi said.
"Tell 'Im." Akatsuki said, slurping away his noodles.
"Yeah, this style really suits you." Akaji said smiling.
"Thanks man."
"I thought your eyes looked weird, or your eye brows were really thick. Why the blinding bangs?" Watabe asked.
"Ah-haha."
My eyes landed on Suzune who ate her noodles in silence. She wasn't her usual self.
*Wait, what?* I thought as the realization hit me.
We had previously agreed that she'd cut my hair for me but today my hair was cut by someone else.
*Nah no way in hell.* I thought, nodding disapprovingly.
After dinner, the girls walked back to their rooms while the guys stayed back to have fun and discuss.
"Looks like we'll be free till next year." Nakamura said, opening the bag of chips which I guess he bought earlier in the day.
"Yeah! I'm so glad we won't be training for this month." Watabe said popping his can of soda open.
"It's just for Christmas preparations, I the end we'll be forced to engage in worse exercises after new year." Saitō grumbled.
"Forced? Haha, that sounds much."
"Yeah. It's probably to make us relaxed before the schedule of matches are drawn." Akaji said smiling.
"Yeah, you're right. It's cool that way too. At least I won't have to worry about training for a while." Watabe said.
"Mm-hm." Akatsuki said.
"Hey, you guys wanna hit the arcade tomorrow?" Akaji asked.
"Yeah, count me in." Watabe said excitedly.
"I don't have anything doing so I'll just leave with you guys." Saitō said.
"Me too."
"Same here."
*I did say I wanted to change and going out with them tomorrow would help, but… I think I'm still bad at Soccer. It's better I reject the invite now.* I thought, about to speak up.
"Yeah, I and Atsushi-kun will be coming as well." Akatsuki said smiling.
*Shut the fuck up!!!!*
"Oshiba-kun." Akaji called, waiting for my approval.
"Oh, I guess I don't have anything doing." I said looking away.
"Well that settles it, we'll be going different places tomorrow." Akaji said.
"Huh? I thought its just the arcade?" I asked.
"Oh, did I say that out loud, don't mind me. Tee-hee😋"
"But even if we decided to have fun, we won't have enough points for the games and all."
"Ah, don't bother about that. Today is a point free day. We checked it out yesterday."
"Point free day? So we can buy other…"
"No."
"Ah… that's bad."
I went up to my room when we finished making plans and saw Ueta about to get on her bed.
"Oh, Ueta, looks like you're about to go to bed." I said forcing a smile.
"Yeah." She answered lying on her bed.
"Oh, goodnight."
"Mmn."
*Seems like she's mad about something.* I thought looking at her.
*Well, it doesn't look like she wants to talk about it, and even if she does I really don't wanna listen.* I thought yawning.
The next day, I sat in Akatsuki's room as we talked and laughed.
"Hey, let's go have a bath now." I said, checking the time in my phone.
"Oh yeah. Almost forgot that."
"Won't Saitō be waking up?" I asked.
"Nah, even if I slap the hell outta him he's not gonna wake up, just leave him, he'll be up soon." Akatsuki said as we walked out.
"I see."
"Oh, looks like you guys are here already." Nakamura said as we walked into the bathroom.
"That's cause a particular someone said we'll be leaving by 10, it's already few minutes after 9." Akatsuki said.
"Haha, sorry about that." Akaji said smiling.
"Yeah whatever, let's be fast and leave." Akatsuki said.
Before 10, we were ready to leave.
"Shouldn't we tell the coach that we'll be leaving?" Saitō asked.
"Maybe you should try fixing your bed hair first." Watabe said.
"Oh, I totally forgot that." Saitō said as they all laughed at his hair.
We left the compound and went straight for the arcade after leaving the dorm.
"Whoa, not what I expected this place to be like." I said looking at the place.
"Your first time in an arcade?" Akatsuki asked.
"Yeah."
*I didn't go to many places since I thought it'd bother mom. I also disliked staying in crowded places.*
"Meaning you don't know how you play." Akatsuki said with a smug smile.
"What are you trying to say?" I asked as he laughed.
"Just have fun, you didn't seem to have fun back at the dorm." He said walking to a machine.
*I guess so.* I thought sitting beside him.
He taught me how to play some games while also having a good time.
