Chapter 42 - Big Brother’s Fury

The hospital corridor echoed with rushed footsteps. Levan's presence was like a storm crashing through the sterile white walls. Dressed in a black leather jacket, eyes blazing with fury, he headed straight toward Room 206—the room where Alea was being treated.

But before he even reached the door, he heard the voices.

Rayzen.

Kael.

Just outside the waiting area, the two notorious gang leaders were leaning against the wall—battered, bruised, and yet somehow still arguing with each other like nothing had happened.

Rayzen spotted Levan first. "Oh—hey, Officer Levan! About Alea—"

He didn't finish his sentence.

Levan grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall with a force that made the floor tremble.

"You stupid punk!"

Kael stepped forward, but before he could say a word, Levan's other fist punched him square in the jaw.

In a flash, both Rayzen and Kael were dragged out of the hospital by their collars like misbehaving schoolboys. No one dared stop Levan—not even the security guards.

Once outside, Levan let them go—only to land a hard punch to Kael's ribs and a kick to Rayzen's leg.

"You think this is a game?" Levan's voice thundered. "You think dragging my sister into your gang war is something I'll forgive?!"

Rayzen coughed, trying to stand up. "It's not like that! We were protecting her!"

"Protecting her?!" Levan turned to him with fire in his eyes. "Then why is she in the goddamn hospital?! Huh?! Because of you two idiots playing king of the streets?!"

Kael wiped blood from his lip, scowling. "Alea got caught in something none of us saw coming. But we didn't use her."

Levan walked up to him and grabbed his shirt.

"I don't care who started what. I don't care what excuses you throw. Stay the hell away from my sister. Got it?" His voice dropped to a deadly calm. "Both of you. If I see you near her again—I won't stop with just a punch."

Rayzen looked genuinely shaken for a moment. "I… I didn't mean for her to get hurt."

"That's the problem with you. You never mean it, until it's too late."

Levan released Kael with a shove and turned to leave. His knuckles were bloodied, but he didn't even flinch.

Before walking back into the hospital, he threw one last glance over his shoulder.

"Black Fangs. Vulture Syndicate. I don't care. To me, you're just a bunch of kids pretending to be wolves."

And with that, he disappeared into the hospital's cold corridors, leaving the two gang leaders in stunned silence—bloodied, bruised, and completely humbled.
