Chapter 72 - Chapter 71 – Four Blades, One Flame

The crowd roared like thunder above the coliseum. Dust spiraled in the wind as Hajun stood still, eyes locked on the four opponents fanning out before him.

They moved with discipline—no words, no hesitation.

Step. Step. Surround.

"Close in!" barked the shortest one, twin daggers glinting in his hands.

Hajun didn't move. Not even when the ax-wielding woman lunged from his left, nor when the archer nocked a glowing arrow behind her.

They wanted him cornered. They wanted him crushed.

They had no idea what they were dealing with.

At the last second, Hajun bent low—his foot swept sideways like a whip, catching the axe woman by her ankle. She flipped mid-air.

Before she hit the ground, he launched forward—closing in on the dagger user.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Steel met steel as daggers danced and bit into air. But Hajun was faster. Every move he made was honed by instinct, not training. Like a beast born for battle.

[Berserker Flesh – ACTIVATED]

Veins bulged. Eyes flashed red. And with a savage headbutt, he shattered the dagger wielder's nose.

He dropped, blood gushing.

"One."

The archer fired.

Too slow.

Hajun spun. The arrow grazed his cheek.

The second attacker, a spear wielder, charged with a roar.

Hajun dodged the first jab. On the second, he caught the spear's shaft, twisted his body, and slammed his elbow into the man's temple.

CRACK.

"Two."

He turned, breathing slowly now.

The axe woman had gotten back up, and the archer kept his distance. Smart.

Too bad it wouldn't help.

Hajun grinned.

He charged.

Axe met his arm, slicing skin—but not deep enough.

He let it bleed. He wanted it. He used it.

His fist caught her under the chin. Her eyes rolled back before she even hit the ground.

"Three."

Only the archer remained.

The boy trembled as Hajun walked forward.

"You still want to fight?"

"I—I… I surrender!"

Too late.

Hajun disappeared from his sight.

Then—

THUD.

He stood behind the archer, fist buried in his stomach.

"Four."

The crowd exploded in madness.
