SMA Srengseng
In front of them stood a large and numerous building, but many of its facilities seemed nonfunctional, especially with moss covering the walls.
Mr. Fani rolled down his car window, "This is the fate of a school here, don't be surprised, we just recently gained independence!"
"Even so, I think the local leaders here never pay attention to it!" Aswa said.
"Alright, I have to go now, so see you again. One more thing, entering Srengseng is not easy, you know!" Mr. Fani
He then pressed the gas pedal hard, causing the car tires to screech, producing a sharp sound on the hot asphalt, while smoke billowed out from the exhaust.
And in an instant, Mr. Fani had passed and disappeared from sight.
"What did he say earlier? Not easy? If the opponent is a king, then of course it has to be that way, right!" Arca smiled as he walked towards there.
On the other side, Mondy frowned, "Ugh-ugh, can't he go any slower?" Mondy muttered.
Aswa then walked following Arca.
When Arca reached the gate, he stepped inside. However, just as one of his feet was about to touch the ground—
"Eiitt... Stop!" A teenage boy with a Joker-like face appeared.
He stopped Arca's step. "What are you doing here? Beggars are not allowed to enter, you know, if you want to go elsewhere, then go."
Arca immediately flared up in anger, "Who did you call a beggar!!" Arca said while taking out some money.
They toyed with Arca as if he were a beggar.
"Wait, I'll prepare a gift first," the boy said as he approached Arca. His hand slipped into his pants pocket as if to take something.
He pulled out a pen, then—
"What the hell is this?! Damn you!" Arca shouted as the boy suddenly scribbled red ink on his black tank top.
"That's my signature," the boy said arrogantly.
Arca grabbed the boy's tank top roughly. "You think I care, huh?! Don't blame me later if you get hurt!"
The boy's friends behind him looked ready, their attitudes turned aggressive.
"W-wait!!!" the boy suddenly shouted, trying to stop the situation. "You don't know who I am? I'm Jemi Klooun, a superstar in the making! HAHAHA!!" His laughter echoed, full of confidence even though his words sounded exaggerated.
Suddenly, his eyes caught something. "Hey, you over there! What are you doing?" Jemi looked toward a figure behind the fence.
It was Aswa, who was trying to climb the fence. He seemed unconcerned despite being noticed by Jemi and just intended to continue.
"Hey...! Don't climb that fence, man!" Jemi shouted, trying to stop him.
But Aswa ignored him.
"It's haunted there, you know?! Anyone who enters through there will be cursed!"
Aswa paused for a moment, listening. But soon after, he resumed climbing.
Jemi became more panicked. "I-it's not just a curse—you'll also be punished by the gods!!" He kept trying to stop him, but Aswa was unshaken.
Aswa almost made it over the fence—just needed to push his body up, and he'd be through.
*CRASH!*
A stone flew from Jemi's direction and struck Aswa's head.
"Where did you get that stone?!" Arca widened his eyes. How could Jemi throw a stone while it was still tightly held in his hand?
Aswa came down with a frowning face, rubbing the hurting head. His innocent eyes looked left and right like a confused child.
"I told you, right? You'll be cursed by the gods," said Jemi.
"What god throws stones at people—" Arca protested.
Jemi immediately covered Arca's mouth with his hand, then let go of Arca.
"Listen, if you want to enter someone else's place, shouldn't you follow the rules?" Jemi said.
"What rules?" asked Mondy.
Jemi then smiled. *Clap-clap-clap.*
He clapped his hands, and a group of people came. They wore sports outfits like athletes—some tied their heads with bands, some wore gloves.
"You all have to win the game of life and life."
