Randomly walking through the net of alleys with the Soldiers chasing behind him, Levian couldn't help but laugh internally at their patheticness.
" All this work just for nothing, never imagined such idiots being soldiers.*
Setting a save point he leans forwards and begins running, Alerting the chasers into giving chase.
"This is S-0 and A-3, The target is running towards H-8."
"Roger that, preparing to engag-"
"What do you mean? The target is calmly walking in front of me?"
" What!?"
Turning around the corner the soldiers saw their target seemingly nowhere to be seen.
In confusion they turn around to see the target actually walking towards them from behind and passed them.
They couldn't believe their eyes as there was no record of the target having access to any fluxer knowledge.
S-0, the recon specialist secretly grabbed onto his knife and silently begin following Levian through a alley while his allies guard both it's end.
He saw him turn towards one of the dead ends and prepared to engage but when he entered, there was nothing.
* Screaming noises*, their earpieces let out a blood scream as they saw one of the comms go offline, Terror took over them as they quickly ran towards H-8.
Then they saw it, H-8 or their eighth member hugo, lying on the ground with a wound on his neck. The wound looked one of a claw like weapon but they couldn't pinpoint any sort of possibilities.
"This is too strange, we have been deceived.. Forget the target and reg-"

Another comm went offline, F-11 the group sniper was lost as they soon saw his body fell down from the roofs above.
The corpse hit the ground hard and got turned into a jumbled mess from the impact but the soldiers have long developed a resistance to such scenes.
" Everyone.. Shoot target on sight, forget about that cocky head scientist and just blast him dead." V-2, The captain of the squad ordered his remaining members as the search and capture turned into a guerrilla warfare against.
Activating both their gears and powers, the members quickly took the roofs as they grapples onto the walls.
Up above on the roof, Levian couldn't help but look at them with a hint of pity but no way he would spare anybody coming his way.
Raising to his feets again, He brought a bunch of items from his bag, silently looked at the soldiers before himself jumping down into the alleys.
"I didn't want to use these so fast, I spent a two weeks worth of wage in debt for these." He said to himself while sliding a claw gloves into his hand and grabbed onto a bunch of sphere bombs, juggling them as he ran.
Just as he saw a soldier come in front of him, he sped up a threw a punch which the soldier blocked with ease.
" Nice try kid but you will need more than that."
"Oh really? How about this then" Levian calmly said as he tossed the bomb in the soldier's face and used load to escape before the explosion.
The bomb exploded into a cloud of gas which was useless against the soldier, so the soldier G-2 walked forward in low strides, the machine gun in hand firing at burst as he came out of the cloud.
"Surprise!"
Levian appeared behind the soldier, his claw heading straight for the neck as the soldiers failed to figure out his location.
He pierced through the neck in one quick swoops and grabbed the gun from the dead soldier's arms and quickly left the scene to behind a dumpster.
Bullets came his way from the front as he saw a trio coming, Hiding behind the metallic dumpster, he counted.
" 60%.. *light breathing* About seven more.. need to make this cou-"
Befor he could think further he heard the sound of something begin tossed along with a metallic ping sound.
He ran and leapt into the dissipating cloud of gas in hurry and rolled as a explosion obliterated his previous spot as bullets rained down on him from the roofs as well.
He ran through the alleys in a zig-zag but trained soldiers were not something he could escape from that easily, occasionally returning gunshots, he managed to maintain a safe distance but he was getting slowly pinned down.
"This has to change, they will get me if this game goes on like this." He said to himself and quickly removed his jacket and tossed most of the mombs into the pocket as he chuck it at the soldiers.
Much to his disappointment, the captain of the soldiers was a enchanter and the jacket was stopped mid air with some sort of zero-gravity flux ability.
The jacket exploded mid air, leaving a crator in the walls and a small cloud of smoke and flames.
"Get him, this must have been his last reso-" the captain was saying when he saw something dash towards through the flames with a gun pointed at them.
Firing the entire magazine from the gun into one of the trio, Levian tossed the empty weapon like disk but missed but it worked good enough as a distraction for him to get another meter of distance.
Leaning forward with his arms wide open like a lunging tiger, He closed in on the remaining two of the trio, jabbing his claw like hand towards his eyes but the captain quick to react twisted his arm while the other soldiers aimed at Levian.
Just as the bullet was fired, Levian shifted to his save point a meter away, sweeping in he plunges the claw into chest of the soldier beside the captain.
The claw luckily avoided the metal plate in the middle of the torso vest and pierced the soldier's chest and straight into the wind pipe.
" YOU BASTARD" the captain roared as he slammed his fist straight into Levian's face, tackled him to the wall stabbed a knife in his shoulder.
Shifting away just before a headbutt, Levian appeared behind the captain with who just headbutted and created a hole in the wall but he didn't have moment to consider any fear.
Two more gunshots, both hit his left arm but he gritted through and gave his last present to the captain.
' 5. 4. 3.', "Have fun with this, jackass." he said while tossing the final item on him, a small block about a enough to match a person's foot in size.
For the last time he shifted away as the block of explosive erupted into a wave of heat that engulfed the entire alley in a deafening explosion.
Levian didn't care what happened to the captain but he sure as hell knew they couldn't chase him after his surprise gift.
He lifted a manhole cover under the and slipped into the sewers before jumping out again and closiled the cover again as he ran for another 39 seconds while one of the rooftop snipes follow after him.
Just when he hit the 40th second, he shifted. A perfect escape where he nobody knew where he shifted to because of the explosion and at the maximum distance he could reach as well.
"Are these fu**ing split end bullets? just what sort of people did they send after me?", Levian couldn't help but banter About their ruthless way to capture someone after shameless blasting almost every soldier with explosives.
'Well you are indeed a beastman, your people have quite a thick skin.. also don't try to r-.. I am idiot for trying to help you.' , Nimim said telepathically to Levian but just as he was about to warn him , the guy had already ripped out the bullets and now made a face like he ate s**t.
" *Muffled groaning* Dont say anything, the bullets may very well have been planted with trackers.", Levian tries to convey his reasoning but the demon's disappointment grew even further.
'Are you a idiot?', He said without any expectations and continues, 'Can't you oversmart butter brain think about asking me first? Those things were more hollow than your stomach in the labs.'
If Levian's face before looked like he ate something bad, now the face looked like some dumped a bottle pure lemon liquid into his mouth.
He felt like puking in pain in his torn muscles and dragged himself to the nearest entrance to the black market.

"So let me get this correct? that guy had some sort of teleportation flux glyph set and he also had explosives and weapons?" Auruia, the young lady that is incharge of the corps research department said to the captain of the squad.
Sweat begins falling from the captain's forehead as the weapon aimed at him by the Lady's guards were enough to send a shiver down his spine.
Raising his head to look towards the lady, he knelt on the ground, "we were told it was a mission to capture a rouge beastmen but that guy was neither rouge nor a simple beastmen young miss, he teleported over 7 times in a spam of 7 minutes and multiple bombs." He said as he practically deflected the blame for failure.
Hearing the captain's report, Adam or as Levian calls him, the jinx felt a deep sense of betrayal.
' He was there, he knew who I was talking to buy still acted as if he saw nothing.. I have to kill him before tells everyone about the system or atleast recruit him.'

The sudden quest almost made Adam lose his composure. The previous quests have always been about training or defeating someone with a penalty of weakness or temporary unavailability of the system but this one straight up said he might just die.
'Just what sort of crap is this system!? Why the hell is the penalty so high?' he couldn't help but ask the system and soon recieved his answer.
[The target has high hostility towards the host and the system, negotiations of any sort are unlikely, the host must kill the target before the target uses the library to kill you.]
'What is this library anyway? Why is it so important?' he said to the system and another panel popped up.
[The library is a collection of knowledge gathered by the demon king of wisdom during his entire life and hold enough data to give host enough power to rule a entire planet, even the highest of flux glyphs and biggest truths are present in it.]
Hearing the sheer capability of the library, Adam couldn't help but gulp, drool almost coming out of his mouth as his imagination ran wild.
Just what he couldn't do with almost every glyph in existence?He asked himself, he could practically make everyone his servant or slave on will.
Just when he was about to ask further the lady turned around and left the room with the captain clutching onto his clothes while thanking her for her generosity.
Moving alongside the other guards, he could admire the enchanting figure of auruia from behind his poker face while his inner greed motivated him even further.

I should try to butter up this girl and get myself the job of killing that guy and then bid my time until she will just be a dancing at the wave of my fingers.' feeling Confident, Adam begin thinking out a way to kill Levian, completely unaware of the fate that will befell him for such actions.
The guards and the lady then left the hospital for the main research based where the lady had the senior scientist shot to death for leading to death of her soldiers.
As soon as the scientist was shot dead, the main guard and the other scientist quickly exposed the deceased scumbags deeds of embezzlement and unfair threatening and the corpse was left to rot inside the cell where Levian and Adam once were imprisoned.
