"She's strong," Ytrisia murmured, her eyes narrowing as she stared at the ruins of the buildings ahead. Only moments ago, she had fought those two villains there, her limbs now feeling the strain of the battle.
The villains' severed heads lay scattered across the ground, their bodies decapitated as though sliced by a blade so sharp it could sever even their very cells.
"...Ytrisia, your legs must be hurting. Let me help," Cruxius said, his voice smooth as he glanced at Darithi standing beside Ytrisia.
The woman had chosen to rely on Darithi's support instead of his own, and he couldn't help but feel the sting of it.
With a playful glint in his eye, Cruxius flexed his claws, pretending to be innocent but clearly expecting something from her—a body part to grip, no doubt.
