Chapter 18 - Not my friend Lois.

Aaron's POV

I made breakfast for Lois before I left the house. I could not face her, but I hoped the breakfast softened her heart a bit. I left the house and headed towards a hotel. Zach was waiting for me there.

He came back to the country recently and wanted to apologize for not making it to my wedding. I would not call him my friend exactly, but we were pretty close. He was the boss of his own, so his parents had no relation with my parents and I was really glad about that.

He inspires me a lot, to be honest, to be free and not in the clutches of his parents' will. He gets to do what he wants. However, he wants to.

I pulled up at the hotel and handed my car over to the valet. I proceeded to the room he told me he would be.

I entered the elevator and proceeded to the third floor. Ladies around me kept throwing me weird glances. I just looked forward and ignored them. When I got to the floor, I walked till I located the room. I inserted the key I was given in the reception to open the door.

He was already on his feet with a bright smile on his face.

'If it is not the famous Aaron Carson' he said as he walked towards me and pulled me into a hug I hugged back before we disengaged.

'You look great, my man' I said, smiling back at him.

'You don't look bad yourself, I see the marriage glow working' he said, and we burst into laughter. Marriage glow? I wished. My marriage isn't even up to four weeks yet, and I am already stressed as hell.

'How's your wife doing?' he asked. The expression on my face changed. How was Lois doing? I did not know. She did not let me into her life, she pushes me out, and she shielded any emotions she had from getting to me. All I know was she was angry and so pissed at my presently, which is entirely my fault, and I did not know how to make it up to her.

'You good man?' he asked as he saw the expression on my face drop. My heart felt heavy. I did not know when I started telling him my business, how Chloe ruined any chance I got with Lois, how I filed a restraining order against her, every single thing.

'I thought you said the marriage was just a contract marriage. Why are you so concerned about everything?' he asked. That was a good question. It was just a contract marriage, and I just needed Lois to give me an heir. But why was I so concerned about hurting her feelings, so concerned about what she thought of me.

'I need to be on good terms with her to make a child' I responded mindlessly. Yes, that was it, I just wanted to be in good books with her to make a child. The crush I had on her was already gone years ago, right?.

'Makes sense' he said, nodding his head.

'I have to go to the restaurant, see you soon, man, and sorry about not coming to your wedding ' he said as he checked his phone and hurriedly stood up.

 "it's good man" I said.

We hugged one last time before he dashed off. I followed behind him because I also needed breakfast from the restaurant.

The restaurant was outside the hotel so he got there before me. It was a fancy and really nice hotel. I entered and sighted him seated with a woman. So this was why he left early, sly guy.

I noticed the woman had back features similar to that of Lois, but that was not possible. There was no way she would know Zach, let alone be on a date with him.

I walked closer to where they were seated. Zach spotted me, and his face immediately lit up.

'Hey buddy' he said as he stood up to hug me. I looked down to see the woman seated, and it was indeed Lois. Was she on a date with Zach? Could Zach be the guy she was kissing the other day?. I was agitated.

Zach introduced us, and I let out a bitter reply before walking out of there. I was fuming. This could not be happening. The valet brought my car, and I dashed off angrily. It took everything within me to concentrate on the road on my way home. What if they already had sex? I didn't know why I would even think that. If Zach was the guy she kissed, then anything could have happened.

My heart rate was accelerating at a quick pace, and I was enraged. It shouldn't have been him.

I got home faster than expected. I parked my car in the garage and sat in the living room waiting for Lois to come home. I needed her to confirm my suspicion, I hope I was not right.

An hour later, she came. Immediately I saw her I walked up to her. I held her hand tightly, I was so angry and was not thinking straight at this point. Someone else already had what was mine, and the thought didn't sit right with me.

'It had to be him' I growled.

'Let me go, you are hurting me' she yelled in my face, but I was not listening. This was all Chloe's fault. If she hadn't drugged me, I would not be in this situation with Lois.

'I am sorry, okay? I was drugged by her, making me think it was you, I would never sleep with any girl that is not you' I yelled, still holding her hands. I needed her to hear that.

'LEAVE MY HAND' she yelled again, ignoring all I said, and I immediately released her hands in defeat.

'Don't you see what you are doing to me, Lois?' I said, looking at her. Her eyes softened when I said those words. It was as if all the anger she had towards me had all disappeared.

'I need you' I whispered. I moved as I my face close to hers, hoping she doesn't push me away and she didn't. My lips met hers. I moved my lips slowly against hers, and she responded immediately. She jumped on me and wrapped her legs around my waist, and I used my hands to support her butt.

Our tongues glided perfectly against each other. The kiss grew faster, and the tensions between us grew ferociously, and before I knew it, I was on top of her, making love to her on the couch I sat on earlier.
